Priscilla POV
Seeing Beatriz leave in that manner had spiked the room for gossip as silent whispers from the workers could be heard. I slowly slipped out of the living room after Alicia had gone somewhere probably to check on Beatriz, those two really care for each other and Xander had left to search for a good lawyer for his mother.
I heard silent sobs coming out of Elizabeth's room as she packed all of her things into her luggage bag. I knew she was heartbroken and had felt bad for all that she had done, but the things she did to Damon was pretty much despicable and I would side with Damon anytime any day if compared.
I spent an hour in my room trying to process all that had happened. Would Damon had actually gotten his mother arrested for my sake? If so, how did he know she was the culprit? And if that were to be the case, why wasn't Alicia arrested as well? She is the one who spearheaded the entire mission and now she is walking free like nothing has happened.
The only explanation to this was that Damon was protecting her because I see no reason why his mom will be arrested and she wasn't.... Which is why she is wearing my ring... Just because I refused him, he went ahead to give it to another.
There was a soft knock on my door. When I opened it, I saw one of the workers at the door.
"Sir would like to see you at his study...." She said with a bow and left to do her business.
I went ahead to the study, knocked on the sturdy door and waited for his response. "Come in" his voice emanated from within. I went in and even ignored his greetings towards me, sat on my the couch in the study and waited for him to turn around and come meet me.
Damon sat across me, keeping a five feet distance between the both of us. Waiting for him to start a conversation with me might take forever with the eyes that were on me, they weren't interested at making an explanation, just there to watch me.
"You called for me" I said curtly. "And please I need a thorough explanation as to how you were able to keep a double life while fooling everybody.... Including me"
"I didn't fool you, I made everything clear at the vineyard but I knew you wouldn't understand so I let you go.... It was the only way I could protect you" Damon said.
"Really?" I said incredulously, "Then why bring me back using a mysterious writer.... If you were trying to protect me then why bring me back, is that how you protect something by bringing them back to the Lions den and besides wasn't I trust worthy enough for you to have told me everything you knew, why did you hurt me that way Damon? For three weeks I wasn't myself...." I said at the brink of tears, even my voice was strained as I recall the moment I had returned heart broken and couldn't take in food.
I lied when I said that I moved on quickly, no one can if someone they loved hurt them that way. He said that I pitied him and was with him for greed, though it's all behind it still hurt my heart so much each time that I remember it.
To calm me I felt his cold hands touch that of mine, he was silent, and I appreciated that he was. It was the only way I could hold myself from crying, if I did hear his voice again I might just burst into tears and wet the couch, I also didn't want to seem vulnerable and weak when he is around me, I can't stand that.
"I really don't know how to start apologising...."
"Then please don't, just tell me, since when did you know my mum didn't die of natural cause and that your mum and fiancee....." I bit my lip as I just realized I was letting my jealousy override my anger, if this two were mixed it could create an entire explosion.... The sensual kind and that isn't needed right now.
"Fiancee?" Damon repeated the last word from my entire speech, it was clear that was the only word he caught on and stimulated his interest. "If you mean Alicia, then I will have you know that she...."
"It doesn't matter, just answer me"
"I had my suspicions from when you left during I and Alicia's wedding, which was why I didn't visit you sooner....."
"I thought you told me you thought I ran away cause I was against your wedding, or was that also a lie so you could be with me and break what left of my heart the later weeks...."
"That's why I said that they were suspicions, of course I didn't want to believe it was true cause you know she is my mother, I know her very well and she is capable of doing something like that, though I do hate to admit it.... Listen, at the vineyard.... between the both of us everything was real, I sent you off only because I felt that if indeed my mother did a thing like that then it was only a matter of time before she does something to you.... It was either that or I take you on a vacation trip with me but as you know you refused to come along with me......."
"You are deviating from the subject here, Damon.... Once again you are making it about us, I don't want to hear anything else if you aren't going to be truthful and direct with me." I got up from the couch and went for the door, opening it a bit, I felt as Damon pulled me back.
"I will try not to make this about us but please don't leave like that...." He took a deep pause. "Alicia came to my hotel room the day after you had refused my marriage proposal, given that she knew my mum very well I requested that she tell me everything she knew about my mother's involvement in you mother's death, that's if there was any, just to clear the doubt I had."
"Go on..." I urged.
"She gave me a tape that had a recording of the nanny and Doctor's confession on it, they both said that they were others by my mother....."
"And you believe her?"
"Not exactly, Like I said I know my mum very well, she might be capable but she won't harm someone that had done no wrong to her.... I do know cause I have covered for her severally...."Damon admitted.
"Well... You should also know that Alicia is also very much involved in this and I hope that you make her pay, just because you are engaged to her shouldn't let you cloud you judgement"
Damon laughed. "You actually think I am engaged to Alicia? Baby, I refused to renew my vows to Elizabeth because I was avoiding another reason not to be with after all this is over, then tell me why I would want to jeopardize that" he raked through his hair as if infuriated as he reach for my hands again, "There can only be one woman in my life, and that is you Liliana"
I rolled my eyes, heard this a thousand times from him and yet look at where we are again, him trying to woo and me falling for it again, it's a roundabout romance that doesn't go straight ahead.

My head narrowed down to my ring that was still on Alicia's finger as I sought to ask, "is that why you gave her the ring that was meant for me?" My jealousy was once again getting the best from me.
"The truth is that I wanted her to believe that I was really going to get married to her and as at that time the ring so happened to be there and she took it..... And given that that was the only way Alicia could spill the beans on my mum, I had to for the sake of both your mom and Rachel.... They were both innocent people in this whole fiasco..... Believe me my love, nothing in this world will make me trade you for it" and then he pulled the me into a kiss.
I melted over and over. The tingling sensation in me showed how happy I was, just a single I love you from him could change my whole mood about him. He had me where he want me, the stupid girl in me who didn't want to let go of his love for and instead wanted more out of it, came out of me again.
I really hope.....
"With all the love that I have given you, I can't believe that you would use me this way, Damon. Too bad that same love will be the reason I shall kill you myself....." Alicia said immediately she walked in, I can't believe she heard our entire conversation and even caught us kissing. She ran out afterward and both of us followed her only to see how over taken the mansion was.
The entire security were all gun down and some held captive, Damon had manged to call the police but it was too late.
We all found ourselves at the very top of the mountain, not known to me, beneath it were just trees and it was very much far below. Everyone of us were tied to a chair in an orderly fashion, there was also an officiating minister who stood waiting for a miracle to happen as a gun was held to his head.
Damon stood at the left side of the minister with a gun pointed at his head which made me scared cause the trigger had already been pulled.
"I really can't believe that this is how I am going to die.... I was so close to starring in my very first lead role alongside Dwayne Johnson" Jeanette lamented, I thought she only stared in dramas and soap operas then why is she talking movies and even then she said it several times that she has taken on several lead roles before. "Why am I being dragged into this? Why? I didn't even get to sleep with Damon, only Xander!" She blurted out as she cried out.
I can't believe her right now, we are all going to die any minute and she is talking about who and who she has slept with.
"Are you alright?" Damon lips moved as he asked me.
I nodded in response before responding "yes" I wasn't exactly alright, infact I was scared that today might be the last day that I might get to see his face, we were just about to start all over again and now this.
I wanted to cry but I know he wanted me to be strong, I don't know what Alicia wanted to gain by doing all this but all I knew was that she was mentally ill and needs help because this is the height of it. Why would she choose to loose everything she had accumulated to this stage all for an obsession over a man that feels nothing for you.
Why waste your precious time and strength doing that when there are other guys on the line waiting to meet someone like her. Damon was clearly not hers to begin with, I really don't know why she would kill herself for him.
Take a look at me for example, when Xander refused me, I shed tears but did that let me loose my mind.... No, what's the essence of killing yourself over something that belongs to another.
From no where, the wedding procession song sang aloud as Alicia apperead in a beautiful white wedding gown, her make up was done, her hair was perfect, even as she stepped on the isle that led to the where Damon was I could feel her nervousness, but how could she be nervous if this is her plan from the onset.
"Here we go again" Jeanette groaned as she saw Alicia, she has been the only one complaining ever since we found ourselves all tied up on this chairs to attending Alicia's third wedding to Damon but this time her groaning is to be expected since everyone were all tired of this same old repeat wedding.
Only this time things could go differently.
With a calm voice Alicia spoke, "Before we begin, I really want to thank everyone for making it to my wedding, regardless it not been on your own accord your efforts are still being welcomed. Xander.... Please come and stand behind Damon cause you are his best man and Priscilla please do me this favor of being my maid of honor again, last time things didn't go as planned but this time it will"
Without having us decide whether we should go ahead with it, we were both forced out of our seats by the guns on our head.
"Perfect! Before we start, there is still one person left.... My future mother in law..." Beatriz was dragged to her seat as she was tied around. The fact that Alicia was able to topple the entire police unit and brought out Beatriz despite her being arrested showed that the woman we all are seeing was no ordinary human being.
Alicia has longed planned this entire thing beforehand.
