As Kieran traversed the vibrant and frenzied thoroughfares, enveloped by a multitude of individuals, he couldn't help but be consumed by an overwhelming sense of desolation. Despite the throngs of people, he felt detached and estranged from the world surrounding him. It was as if he was a phantom, imperceptible to the throngs of passersby. He had departed from his home without a single utterance, incapable of enduring the stifling ambiance any further. He sought refuge in Rama VIII. Why indulge in the act of bidding farewell when it would merely culminate in further altercations and emotional anguish? He trudged along, his steps heavy and labored, no longer caring if he collided with someone else on the sidewalk. The weight of indecision burdened him, leaving him with a gnawing feeling of uncertainty. He questioned the choices he had made and wondered if there was a better path to take. Yet the prospect of returning to the mundane routine and incessant arguments that awaited him at home only amplified his sense of dread. And so, he chose to continue his journey, seeking a place where he could finally feel a sense of belonging, a place of solace and inner peace. The road ahead was uncertain, but he was determined to find his way. As Kieran gazed upon the sight of the two men intimately entwined, he couldn't help but feel a sense of bewilderment. Why would they brazenly showcase their affection in such an unreserved manner, knowing full well that their actions would be met with censure and disdain by certain segments of society? The concept of public displays of affection was a perplexing one to Kieran, as he pondered the motivations behind such behavior. Was it a reflection of individual predilection, a desire to proclaim one's love and commitment to the world? Or was it perhaps a rebellion against the societal norms and conventions that dictate what is deemed acceptable behavior in public spaces? Regardless of the underlying reasons, Kieran couldn't deny that the scene before him had left an indelible impression on his psyche, causing him to question his own preconceived notions and biases. Kieran was acutely aware of the harsh reality that same-sex couples faced in terms of discrimination and bigotry. Despite the strides made towards acceptance and equality, there still remained a significant segment of the population that refused to embrace love in all its diverse forms. The slow and arduous journey towards acceptance often left Kieran feeling disheartened, yet he continued to hold onto the hope that one day, all individuals would be able to express their love freely, without fear of persecution or ostracization. In the face of such adversity, Kieran found himself in awe of the courage and resilience demonstrated by those who dared to love who they chose and remained true to themselves. He believed that true progress could only be achieved by standing up against intolerance and hatred, and that one day, society would recognize and embrace the inherent beauty of love in all its wondrous forms. eautiful expressions of love and affection between individuals of the same sex. Kieran's mind was awash with thoughts as he observed the two men walking away, hand in hand. He couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration for the couple's bravery in publicly displaying their affection, despite the societal barriers that remained firmly in place. The disparity between the older and younger generations' attitudes towards same-sex relationships was a source of great concern for Kieran. He believed that love should be celebrated in all its forms, and that society's reluctance to accept individuals for who they truly were was a significant hindrance to progress. Even television shows that depict same-sex relationships are met with criticism and backlash, as they go against the religious beliefs and views of many individuals. As he gazed upon the majestic Rama VIII bridge and the serene Chao Praya River, the once sad expression on his face slowly transformed into a smile. The peaceful ambiance of the night enveloped him, and he couldn't help but admire the colorful poles on the bridge, resembling the strings of a guitar. The bridge's beauty is undeniable, and even without the lights, it would still be an impressive sight to see. The lower part of the bridge would have been shrouded in darkness, but with the golden yellow and blue lights illuminating it, the bridge appeared even more enchanting. Exhausted from his walk, he paused and took a moment to clean the camera nestled inside his trusty sling bag. He remembered the day he received it as a gift from his father on his tenth birthday, and how he had eagerly sought out his older brother Arthit's help to learn how to operate it and capture the best shots. Despite his initial reluctance, Arthit had patiently taught him the ins and outs of photography, and with time, it had become his passion. Now, as he snapped pictures of pedestrians and cyclists passing by, he felt a sense of pride and excitement, knowing that each shot would add to his growing collection of images that he planned to use to decorate his room. With each click of the shutter, he captured a moment in time, freezing it forever in a single frame. As he reviewed each shot, a smile spread across his face, knowing that he had captured something special. Photography had become his art, his way of expressing himself and sharing his unique perspective with the world.

This novel is a masterpiece! The part where Kieran's father accepted him wholeheartedly had me in tears. As a member of the LGBT community, I can understand the pain and struggle that Kieran went through. It's sad to know that this kind of torment still happens in real life, but I'm grateful for stories like this that raise awareness and promote acceptance.
