Monday, at school...
Alexis walks through the hallway along with Leonard and Tyler.
"So Mr Park wants us to hand him the assignment by Thursday, otherwise he'll give us an F," says Alexis to his two friends.
"Man...we have to hurry," says Tyler.
"More likely we gotta rush! Mr Park literally loves giving people F," says Leonard with a worried face.
"Well, you got a point," says Alexis.
"Yeah..man, but it's a good thing I already picked a karaoke for Saturday. I can't wait to scream some lyrics," says Leonard with a small laugh.
"That's cool. Which karaoke did you chose?" Tyler ask.
"Seoul-Song. It's a Korean karaoke," says Leonard.
"Korean karaoke? I never been there before," says Tyler in a cool tone.
"Well...sounds pretty interesting to me," says Alexis.
"Yeah, I think it could be a nice try," says Leonard. "I can't wait for Saturday!"
"And I can't wait to watch George sing," says Tyler, making both Leo and Alexis laugh.
Meanwhile, Sabrina is sorting out her locker while talking with Gina.
"Man, my brother went home super late that night. Chances are, he's got a new hookup," says Gina while tying her hair into a high ponytail.
"Wow, I didn't see that coming. My dad picked me up earlier than I told him. Ugh, I still wanted to hangout with Tiff and Carter though," says Sabrina as she pulls out a blue notebook from her locker.
"Tiffany? I thought she was hanging out with Scott," says Gina in disbelief.
"She left him at some points. Damn, he could be a clingy boy," says Sabrina in a sassy tone.
"More likely momma's boy. Hahaha, which is so old season," says Gina as she manage to make Sabrina laugh at her joke.
Recess...
Sam had been looking for Liana since morning. He wanted to explain everything that happened between him and Gina, which was a total misunderstanding. He wanted to clear things up, and not to mention, he heard from Patrick that Gina had been a hot topic among the girls, for her so called "scandal" with him.
Damn...where's Liana? Sam thought as his eyes keep searching the crowded cafeteria.
Sam's vision stops as he spot Liana taking a seat with Victoria and Cameron. He makes his way to their table.
"Hey," says Sam as his vision stares at Liana, who of course, refuse to have any contact with him since what happened. She even blocked him from all her social medias. "Can we talk for a minute?"
Liana didn't want to think about talking to him at the moment. She is still upset about everything that happened between him and Gina. Although she knew that they didn't really hook up, but knowing that her boyfriend and (now) ex friend are flirting with each other behind her back was something she couldn't accept. As Sam kept waiting for Liana to answer, Victoria and Cameron tries to not make it too obvious that the two of them are secretly staring at the now former couple.
This is awkward. Cameron thought.
How long will this go on? Victoria thought.
"Umm...ok..so is anybody seating here?" Sam ask as he stares at both Cameron and Victoria.
"Uh, yes," says Victoria with a nervous smile.
"That's why you should better get yourself another table," says Liana as her eyes kept staring into her bowl of salad.
"Man..you don't have to be so rude. I just wanted to talk for a minute, that's all," says Sam with an upset tone.
"Well, this is not the time to talk. Arthur's gonna be sitting here, and the four of us will be too busy having lunch," says Liana, in which she sounded a bit arrogant.
Arthur? Sam thought.
Just as Sam was about to continue his words, a guy wearing a black t-shirt and ripped jeans come walking to their table, pulling a seat beside Liana.
"Hey, Art," says Cameron as he high five his friend.
"Ah...we've been waiting so long," says Liana with a rather clingy tone. It's obvious that she was trying to make Sam jealous, and it did. Sam's face began to heat up like a volcano. Knowing that it was too much to see Liana, who he still loves dearly deep down, talking in a clingy voice with Arthur, who is none other than his own best friend, made him feel worse. Pretty much, now he knew how Liana felt that night when he flirted with Gina. Without any words, Sam decides to walk away from the table, and by that exiting the cafeteria. He didn't felt hungry anymore, since his heart was already full of heartache all of a sudden.
After school...
Alyson is standing outside of the school building as she opens a new message on her phone. Her mother texted her that Lily has not finish her visit at the dentist, and so she ask Alyson to wait a little more before she picks her up.
"Waiting for a friend?" Liam ask as he walks over to Alyson.
"No, I'm waiting for my mom actually. She's still at the dentist with my sister," Alyson says in a casual manner.
"Maybe you wanna drive home with me? I mean, your house is certainly not far from mine," says Liam in a bit cheeky voice.
"Haha, thanks! But I'm cool, surely mom's gonna come in a few minutes," says Alyson with a smile.
"Few minutes or a few hours?" Liam ask as he lets out a small chuckle, but surprisingly making Alyson burst into laughter.
"Few seconds, I thin," Says Aly as she continue to laugh, now making Liam laugh along with her.
Meanwhile, Catherine, Sabrina, and Candice are walking together to exit the school. They happen to see Liam and Aly laughting hard about their little joke. Catherine noticed the two but didn't pay much attention. She was too busy minding her own business with Sab and Candy.
Vincent's house, 7 PM...
Vincent had been working on the assignment for Mr Park. Fearing that Mr Park could give him (and his team) an F at any time, Vincent had been working really hard for the assignment, that he hasn't rest since he got home from school. As he continue to write down his work, his phone notification rings. For a moment he thought it was one of his team mates (Patrick and Arianna). He unlock his phone to read the message, and was surprise to read what he received.
"Hi Vincent! Miss you, and your scent." - Scarlett
It was a message from Scarlett, who is now literally his girlfriend. Well, at least the two of them agreed to date after Saturday night. Though Vincent is still not used to this dating thing, he thought it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. Other than that, he secretly kind of enjoyed all the romantic things behind. Besides, Scarlett does look kinda cool. Often times she would wear a black sweater, complete with a black ruffle skirt and fish net stockings. Sometimes she also rocks cartoon t-shirt and ripped jeans. He had to admit, Scarlett has a unique sense of style, and it sort of attracted him.
"Hey! I'm doing my assignment now. Don't forget to do yours too. Otherwise, Mr Park's probably gonna give us an F!" - Vincent
The next day, at school...
"Well, that was surely surprising," says Carter.
"When did you guys started dating?" Liam ask in curiousity.
"Let's say...the first night we got together, we became official," says Scott in a proud tone. He told Carter and Liam that he and Tiffany are officially dating. "Oh look, she's here," Scott continues as he stares at Tiffany who is walking at their direction.
"Xiao Hua," Scott calls out Tiffany by her Chinese name, almost screaming at his words.
"Xiao Hua?" Liam ask in curiousity.
"That's her Chinese name. I thought it's really cute," says Scott with a big smile.
"Hey guys," says Tiffany. "Heading to class?"
"In a while. We were just talking to your sweet boyfriend here," says Liam in a sassy tone.
"Who? I don't have a boyfriend," says Tiffany in confusion.
"Mr Scott Pierre," says Carter, which made Scott smile even bigger, leaving Tiffany into total confusion.
When did we even get into a relationship? Tiffany thought.
6 PM...
At Liana's house....
"Woah, boy! You're an active one," says Sabrina as Jamie keeps moving around in her arms.
"Jamieeee! Here," says Peggy as she tries to get Jamie's attention by making silly faces.
Liana walks to her room with a tray filled with mixed juice.
"I just made some mixed fruit juices! Though my mom doesn't seem to get the flavor, I think it's pretty yummy," says Liana as she puts the tray on her small table.
"Cool. What did you mix?" Sabrina ask as she puts a Jamie now giggling on her lap. Jamie is giggling of Peggy's silly facial expressions.
"Bananas, grapes, strawberries, oh and avocados," says Liana as she takes two glasses for Sabrina and Peggy. "Try it!"
"Thanks, Li," says Sabrina with a smile.
"Ahh..gomawo (thanks)," says Peggy with a super soft tone.
The girls starts drinking the juice, which was a combination of sweet and sour all together. It created a unique kind of flavor, which the girls loved.
"Ahh, this is so yummy, Eonnie," says Peggy.
"Yeah..this is way too good," says Sabrina.
"Well, I guess it was the perfect mix," says Liana before she takes another drink of her juice.
"And definetly wayy better than Sam's mixed cocktail," says Sabrina.
Liana almost chocked on her drink hearing Sab's statement, while Peggy suddenly stop making silly expressions.
"Uhh..sorry! Damn, I messed up. That was too sarcastic," says Sabrina in a regretful tone.
"Hey, don't sweat it! I'm totally over that guy FYI! I'm no longer thinking about him," says Liana with a small smile. Though deep inside, the thought of Sam still kept her crazy, yet Liana tries her best to look fine in front of her friends. She wouldn't want them to worry or to look like she's still crying over a guy who flirted with her ex best friend. "You know what? Why don't we have a little slumber party this Friday? I can make popcorn, cupcakes, and of course, more juice!"
"Ahh, I'd loved to join, but Leo had invited me for karoake this Friday," says Peggy.
"Woah, I didn't know that guy could sing," says Sabrina in surprised.
"Well, he actually can. He had asked me to choose the place, and so I chose a Korean karaoke," says Peggy. "I hope you understand, Eonnie!"
"Hey! Don't worry, we can have a slumber party at any time. And to add it, this is a golden chance for you, Peggy," says Liana with a big smile.
"What do you mean, Li?" Sabrina ask, in which sounded clueless.
"Duhh, Sab..can't you see that Leo is obviously crushing on Peggy? I mean, come on, I never heard him inviting a woman for karaoke," says Liana in excitement.
"Well....Tiffany's also gonna be there, but I think she's dating George now," says Peggy.
"And for the other guys?" Sabrina ask.
"He invited Alexis, Tyler, Liam, George, Tiffany, and me," says Peggy. "As for the other boys, well...other issues..like Carter's too busy with his books, while Vincent never wanna go out every Friday night. He's more of a Saturday type of guy, from what Scarlett had told me."
"So it's 5 guys and 2 girls? Hmm..interesting," says Liana, thinking about how a room with more guys than girls would be quite a chaos.
"Well, you could also rent a girl if you want to, or maybe bring a lady from somewhere," says Peggy before she takes another sip of her juice.
"Rent a girl? Did they come there for singing or to get their body's shaken?" Sabrina ask as she was too surprised by Peggy's statement.
"So actually, both. I mean, you can sing while also getting a nice company with a beautiful lady," says Peggy. "They're called doumis! Or in other words, karaoke hostess."
Liana and Sabrina's expressions immedietly turns awkward as the two just heard what Peggy had said. They never heard anything about renting a girl while singing. It was all so new to them.
