Eros
"Do you want to admit something to me, Eros?" Father asked, which scared me. I shuddered as I bowed in front of him.
They found out about my first form in a human appearance just because of the mortal I was watching. And I know that my true feelings for that mortal are no longer hidden from the knowledge of the Father. But here it is, and he has already found a way to confront me.
I know he has known about my love for that mortal since the first time I saw her in his mysterious golden well. He is the Father who made us all, so it is not impossible for him to know about that fact.
And now I will face all the punishments and judgments that the Father will give me. Especially my brother's anger and hatred because I broke my promise and betrayed him as well just because I fall in love with the same human he loves.
Even if how much I wanted to repent all my unwanted actions and wrong decisions, I can't. I should face the consequences of my wrong doings. I should face the punishment of the Father because of disobeying his commands and face the anger of my brother because of betraying him after all the sacrifices he did for us to live a peaceful life here in heaven.
We are all here in the hall of the golden kingdom of the Father, along with the other angels including Ajal who seems disappointed with my decision and my twin Eron who is full of curiosity and wonders until now, while I am here upstairs, before the Father, stooping and straining to prepare myself for what will happen right now.
"I am sorry for disobeying you, Dear Father." I said almost a whisper.
"I trust you the most, Eros. I don't want to do this, but I wanted to be fair in all the angels who've been punished because of disobeying my commands," he said still in his calm voice.
"I understand, dear Father. I know that I deserve this punishment for not following your orders, and betraying my brother. I will accept everything-"
"What do you mean?" I heard Eron's question seemingly unable to control his curiosity because of what was happening. "Eros, why are you there? What rule you didn't follow? And what's with the betrayal?" Eron's successive question now approached us.
"Your brother disobeyed my rule. He did not obey my command not to love a mortal." Father said that made Eron look at me in disbelief.
"Who's that mortal? Is she the one I am telling you not to fall in love with?" he asked that I didn't hesitate to nod.
He looked at me in disbelief at what he had learned from me. His hazel brown eyes became reddish in anger and hatred.
"You made me believe? You betrayed me? I did everything just so I wouldn't end up falling in love into that mortal cause I don't want you to be alone because you're my brother! I gave up my love for the mortal and sacrifice everything just because of you. But what did you do? You, as my own little brother will betray me after all those sacrifices?" full of resentment he said that I just bowed.
"Forgive me, I don't want to betray you. But I can't stop myself from falling in love into that mortal," I said pleadingly. "I will accept all the anger and resentment you have for me. I will accept all the punishments that will be imposed on me. Just forgive me. "
"For what else if everything is just gone, it would be better for the two of us to be punished."
A glowing knife suddenly appeared in his hand which made everyone gasped and made me surprised.
"Eron, you know how severe the punishment will be if you pursue your plan. Calm down, "said the Father who was now standing between us.
"Forgive me, Father. But I don't care anymore."
Anger and hatred have engulfed his entire system as he pushed Father away and stab me using the glowing knife.
"Eros!"
Suddenly a dazzling white light came out which you can't bear to stare that was coming from the Father. And in just a snap we flew to the golden floor of the hall.
"For what you have done I will punish you with eternal death in the river of the blazing fire of hell. And you, Eros. I will cut off your wings and cast you into the world of men," the Father announced, at the same time the angel soldiers appeared and picked us up one by one.
"You will put this in mind, Eros. The moment I escape that hell, I will look for you! I will follow you wherever you go! And nothing can stop me, remember that!" his last words before the angel soldiers carried him to his perspective place. Which is in the river of blazing fire in hell.
As I followed the angels took me and carried me to a room. When we entered there I then saw a circular tunnel where behind it was the world of mortals. A few minutes later, I felt them suddenly touch both my wings and suddenly, they cut them off as they threw me into the prepared tunnel.
I can't imagine how much pain I felt when my wings were cut off from my back. In extreme pain my whole body was almost numb. So much pain that I just now felt all over my system. From the sky I fell into a large tree while writhing in excruciating pain. I saw how my wings feathers fall and became dark. It became dark because of me, disobeying the law of the Father. The mark of my sin. Sign that I fell in love with a mortal and was punished by heaven for my disobedience and betrayal of my brother. And there I saw the red liquid coming from my back.
A red liquid, saying that I became a human. And when I say human, it means that I can feel any kind of pain. Pain that only man can feel.
