"Francine, she is Dr. Miguel Fleviox. The reason why I had such a large mansion. The person who helped me when I came here to your world with no one to run to and no one to know. He is my standing Father, my companion in all the trials that come to me in this world," he introduced me to the guest who came. "Dad, she's Francine Ynnah Seung. The woman I’ve been telling you about since the beginning. And I am grateful for your encouragement to me to continue. If it weren't for you and your words of wisdom I wouldn't be able to find her."
The old man looked at me with a very serious face and posture. I was suddenly nervous as I stared into his dark blue eyes.
We are now in the living room of the mansion standing while there is building tension between us and the old man. Eros is next to me now while the old man is opposite us. My whole being seemed to grow cold as my hands got wet with nervousness. I'm not doing anything wrong, but I don't know why his eyes have such an effect on me.
"You're indeed beautiful," he stated with his cold like dagger voice. "You're very charming, yeah."
I was engulfed in extreme nervousness. The coolness of his voice. It was even colder than Eros's voice. Is this really how angels speak?
"Thank you, sir." I said holding my breath in fear.
"You look uneasy. You felt nervous?" he asked which made my eyes widened in surprise.
"I-I'm sorry—"
"You don't have to," the moment he flashed his genuine smile at me, the tension between the two of us had just suddenly disappeared and the fear and nervousness I felt was suddenly replaced by comfort.
"Pardon?"
"I'm sorry for making you feel uneasy. I just like how people reacted on my serious gaze and presence. By the way, Eros," he turned to Eros and flashed his grin towards him. "I'm proud of you."
And the moment I turned my gaze at Eros, I was literally stunned how his pretty boxy smile flashed for a second time.
"Thank you, Dad." Eros said and look at me who's still amaze and stunned at his once in a blue moon, smile. "Francine?"
I just came back to myself when he spoke. I blinked a few more times before settling down.
"Y-yes?" I couldn't help myself not to stutter.
"Fix yourself, we will having lunch outside," he announced that made me surprised even more.
Lunch outside? Isn't it's still dangerous for us to go outside the mansion? Eron might find us.
"But it's still dangerous outside." I reasoned out.
Eros took a deep breath as he held my hand tightly. "I promise that I won't let something bad that will happen to you. Just trust me, trust us, okay?" he said and give me his assuring smile that made me nod my head in return.
Yeah, I should trust him.
He let go of my hand the moment I started to walk my way out of the living room and go upstairs to change my clothes and fix my face. Eros bought me lots of dresses the other day because I don't have anything to wear except for his big size pajamas and boxers. No panties and bra.
Gosh! I can't live like that in the rest of the days that I will live here.
When I arrived at the room I was occupying in the mansion, I immediately searched the clothes in the walk-in-closet of the room to find presentable clothes to wear and I did not take long to search. A plain black off-shoulder dress grabbed my attention so I immediately took it from the closet hanger to wear.
The dress is well fit for my size. I just put liptint and powder then I put on the flat sandals that are still in this box as well as the silver sling bag and put there all the things I need such as wallet, liptint, hand sanitizer, small size of wet tissue and of course my phone. After I fixed myself, I look at myself on the mirror for a while and I immediately went down to the living room of the mansion.
"I'm ready." I said as soon as I got down to the living room.
They turned to me at the same time and smiled.
"Very gorgeous, hija. I remember you my late Wife. She is really like you. Just simple. But, yeah. Nevermind of the past, let's go and have some lunch. I'm already hungry."
He walked out first while Eros kissed me on my forehead first before we walked out of the mansion with our hands holding each other.
We immediately got into the ready car outside the mansion, and went to a nearby restaurant to eat. And while on the trip the old man Mr. Fleviox never stopped praising us. He also has a lot of penetrating stories.
What I really thought of him before was very strict and serious. But now he immediately change his attitude, he is now telling stories and bringing a lot of praise to me and Eros. He is very opposite to what Eros have said, but yeah. Maybe he's just comfortable with me too so that's how he behaves towards me. And I'm happy for that.
When we arrived at a nearby restaurant, it was Eros who offered to order something to eat, so Mr. Fleviox and I just sat in the fourth seat not far away from the counter.
As we waited for Eros he suddenly spoke.
"Be careful and secure. Someone is going to harm you," he stated in his serious cold voice while staring at me intently.
Suddenly my body hair stood on end and trembled with nervousness.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
He sat up straight then folded his two hands on top of the table while his dark blue eyes stared at me seriously.
"Ynnah Francine, you've been cherished by the twin angels since the beginning. I know you already know about that thing, don't you?" he said which made me nodded.
"There's more," I was even more nervous about what he would say next. "Be careful who you trust with, because someone close to you will betray you."
I was literally stunned at what he have said.
Someone close to me will betray me?
I only have five person who I trust and close the most.
Is it possible that one of them is betraying me?
But why? Why should he or she will betray me? To what? And most importantly is who?
