MY SUBSTITUTE BOYFRIEND ( ENGLISH VERSION)
Gina A.
My Substitute Boyfriend -1-
ROSY entered the church breathing hard and shouted, "Stop the wedding!" in protest as she approached the front of the altar.
All the people who were there looked at the woman, and they wondered why she was stopping the wedding. Who is he?
"In a moment." She bent down and caught her breath because of the tiredness; how could it be like she had participated in a marathon?
Matthew's best man frowned as he looked at the woman. In her mind, it's like a scene from a drama where someone will come to stop the wedding and say she's pregnant. Huh? Is that woman pregnant? But as far as he knows, his friend, who's getting married, didn't hurt or play with any women. Okay, he is a playboy. But of course he knows how to protect the woman who's with him from getting pregnant. Sometimes this is even the topic of their conversation.
"Who are you to protest like that?" asked the bride.
Rosy stood straight because the bride was a speaking dollar. And her eyes widened when she saw the groom—well, it's not her boyfriend. "Wait for a moment." She raised both hands. because she will get ready.
"Wait for what?" said the bride again.
"I'm sorry, I'm in the wrong church!" After saying that, Rosy quickly ran out of the church.
Everyone's eyes followed Rosy as she ran. And they are smiling because, to them, it's funny what she did.
When Rosy was outside and looked at the door, she went out. She patted her forehead. What a shame what she did. And she still had the bravery to shout. Stop the marriage.
Matthew shook his head and looked at his friend, who was getting married. "I thought it was a big trouble, dude," he said loudly.
Matthew's friend smiled and shook his head too. Somehow, it also made him nervous, even though he didn't know the woman.
Matthew turned to the door of the church. Who's that crazy woman? She said she was in the wrong church; it's crazy! He looked back at the groom.
When Rosy got away from the church, she screamed without making any sound. That was really shameful of her. She took her mobile phone from her bag and immediately called her friend, who informed her that her boyfriend was getting married today.
Hello, Rosy, where are you?" the person on the other line asked immediately.
"My goodness, Lia. You said Mark is getting married today; why is it different from the one I saw at the church?"
"What? Church? "Where are you?"
"I'm here at the Baclaran church."
"Oh no, Miss Rosy Labrador. You're crazy. I did say he was getting married in church, I said he's getting married in Baclaran, you make mistake because you didn't let me finish what I was going to say. You rushed right away," she shook her head.
"Wait, if not in the church where did they get married?"
"To a judge, there in Baclaran."
Rosy screamed in annoyance and burst into tears. "Ahhh, you're shameless, Mark! You're a fraud!" she was sobbing.
"Rosy, I know you're hurting right now, and to get rid of that feeling, let's go to a bar first and get drunk, do you want? After all, tomorrow is Saturday," she suggested.
"Alright," she was tearful.
"Alright, I'll wait for you here in front of the building. I'm going outside now, Rosy. Bye."
When Lia called her, she was outside getting a dress for the pictorial on Monday, but it was out of stock. Lia told her that her boyfriend was getting married today. But how did she know that Mark was getting married today? She'll ask about it later. She suddenly became weak. She hailed a taxi back to the company where she worked. She felt unable to take another step towards the jeep.
When Rosy arrived in front of the M&F building, she saw Lia and waved at her. They will just take a taxi home.
Lia immediately got into the taxi. "Uncle, in Trinity Avenue," said Rosy.
The man nodded at her.
When they arrived at their house, Lia asked, "What time do we leave?" Rosy agreed.
"It's seven later; let's rest for a while, Rosy."
Rosy nodded and entered the room. By seven o'clock, they were both dressed and gone.
Rosy and Lia went to Friends, Music, and Bar. She looked around; it seemed like this was a place for rich people because there was a live band. And the ambiance is very warm and cozy, and you feel safe because there are a lot of security guards. "Lia, it's beautiful here!" she said.
"Yes, that's why I brought you here—to somehow make you feel better. Did you like it here, Rosy?"
"Of course, it's just that our monthly salary here suddenly runs out," she said because she thought the food would be expensive, especially the wine or liquor.
It's okay, Rosy. At least you were able to unwind, right?"
Rosy nodded yes; of course they're going to do it completely once because it won't happen again. Maybe Lia will come back here because she likes to go to bars.
MATTHEW looked boredly at his watch. It's seven o'clock, and still nothing is happening. He's really bored. He'd rather hang out at the bar than do this. He stood up and approached his friend who got married; he was waiting for his wife to cut their cake.
"Lai, I need to go," he said goodbye.
"What? Matthew, the fun hasn't started yet."
"I'm so bored here, Lai. It would be good if Carlo and Mateo were here. Then there would be no excitement except when you give me the garter you can get from your wife's leg. I know you will give it to me, but I'll pass on that."
"You really are; haven't you thought of marriage yet, Matthew?"
"Your reason is a big damn, Matthew. You have met so many women, and you are in the same state in life.
"Yes, but this." He touched his chest to that part of his heart. "Never ever beat for them."
"So, it's like the moment you set eyes on her. Your heart beat fast because Cupid shot it, huh, Matthew?"
Matthew smiled. Well, he wanted to experience that. He always hears or reads these kinds of words from a woman or a man. "Well yes, Lai." He answered without hesitation.
He shook his head. "I've never met my woman yet, Lai."
Lai just shook his head and said, "Well, even he wants that too, but his parents recommend his wife now to him. And they want her to be their daughter-in-law, so because he is an obedient son, he did it for them. He had nothing to say to his wife, who was beautiful and came from a rich family. He believes that one day he will love her.
"So, how, Lai? Congratulations again. Be a good husband, okay?"
"Yeah! Yeah! So, where are you going?"
"As usual, I'll go home when I know I'm drunk; bye-bye, see you, and enjoy your honeymoon, Lai." He patted his shoulder.
"Yeah, I will, Matthew. But wait, you won't be jealous of my honeymoon, you know!" He bit his lip.
Matthew laughed when he got it. "Hmmm, there's a lot, Lai."
"There are many, but you are too picky. You can go to heaven if you like a girl. But if you don't, no one's going to come near you. Because of your strict appearance."
"Well, I agree with you. But, I'm handsome, aren't I?"
Lai nodded, agreeing with what he said. He's really handsome. There is no cork.
"Bye, Lai, enjoy," he left him.
As the night wore on, Rosy was getting drunk, and they were in the karaoke room because they wanted to sing to relieve stress.
"Lia, from this day on I will stay away from men; they are frauds!" Especially that Mark, he is a beast!" She shouted. And even if she screams, no one will hear her but her friend.
Lia sits beside her friend. "Rosy, has something happened between you and Mark?"
"W-what do you mean happened, Lia?"
Lia looked at Rosy. It was so innocent when she said what happened."I mean, have you given your body to him, Rosy?"
"Ah, is that?" She shook her head and said, "We just kissed."
"So, in one year, you've been a couple, and all you're doing is just kissing, Rosy?"
"Yes, I told him that we should get married first before having a baby. He said yes, but that bastard, he's already having a baby with another woman!" she sobbed.
"Oh, don't cry; it's over. Let's just sing so we can consume what we paid for this room; it's so expensive."
"Whoa, okay, let's sing!" she yelled. "But wait," she said, stopping her attempt to stand up when she remembered what happened in the church earlier. "Lia, how did you know that the bastard man was going to get married today?"
"That's it, Richard called me; those two know each other; he was a witness at the wedding." "Let's not talk about him anymore since there's nothing we can do, Rosy."
"Yes, you're right, Lia," but for her, she wishes he had at least said, "I don't want you anymore, Rosy. I have a new one, and it gives me everything I want. She can accept it. instead of keeping it a secret from her, and this is why she was annoyed.
While Matthew was drinking, he called some of his friends who had events of their own to go to; he was at a friend's wedding earlier. He glanced at the entire place; it was a VIP room, it was quiet, and it was boring when you were alone. He looked at his watch; it was past ten o'clock and too early to go home. He poured again into his glass filled with ice-cold hard drinks. while swirling the glass to easily cool it. The woman who crashed at her friend's wedding suddenly came to mind. She says it was the wrong church. He suddenly smiled because of her cute look while catching her breath. "Crazy woman!" He said then that he would empty his glass.
"Lia, I'm going to urinate first; my bladder is about to burst," said Rosy.
"Can you manage, Rosy?" she asked because she was already drunk.
Rosy nodded with her eyes a bit closed. "I can do it," she replied drunkenly.
She stood up. She can still stand straight even though her vision is double. as she walked to the comfort room. Rosy was able to hold on to the wall to support herself. When she arrived at the comfort room, she immediately washed her face because she could see two people, which meant she was really drunk. "Go ahead, Rosy, enjoy yourself today because tomorrow is a new life and a new hope." She pointed to the reflection in the mirror."Yes, I will," she replied to herself as she entered the cubicle.
Matthew was lifting the bottle of liquor; he was shaking his head; he had drunk half of it already; and he felt that he had been hit. But he wasn't that drunk yet; he poured his glass again. "This is the last one," he said, and drank it in one shot. He was about to stand up when the door opened.
Matthew frowned because a woman entered and he thinks it's going to him.
Rosy sat down next to what she thought was Lia with her eyes closed."Why is there no music?" she said while pouring a glass of wine.
Matthew frowned again at the words of the woman who suddenly entered his place."Who's this woman?" he asked himself as he remembered that he had never called a woman.
Rosy gulped down the contents of the glass and winced because it was strangely stronger than what they were drinking earlier."Did you order something else, Lia?"
Now Matthew knows that the woman has come into the wrong room and he thinks she is drunk. "That, my liquor, you have come to the wrong room," he told her.
Rosy frowned when she looked at the person who spoke. She smiled at the man, because she thought he was her boyfriend."Why are you here?"
Matthew frowned even more because of the woman said."Do I know you, Miss?" he asked.
Rosy thought the man was playing with her. She jumped next to him and touched his cheek.
Matthew was taken back by what the woman did. The woman's palms felt warm to him, and he had weird feelings. She started talking as he reached out to grasp her hand to take it off his cheek.
"You didn't get married, did you? Because you still love me right? And I love you so much, you know that! You're only mine, huh!" Probably with alcohol hit her. She grabbed the man's lips. Download Novelah App
