ON that morning, Rosy woke up so early and was smiling while she stared at Matthew, who was still sleeping. They did things that weren't supposed to happen to them. She knew in herself that she would not regret giving her pure soul and heart to him. 
Matthew woke up because he can feel that someone is watching him. When he saw who was looking at him, He smiles."Why did you wake up so early?" He looked at his watch."Five am?"
"Yes, I have to go; I'm going to work."
"I'll send you home, sweetheart!" He was about to get up when he stopped her from shaking her head at him. 
"Please let me, sweetheart!"
Rosy shook her head again. This is where they parted ways." Matthew, make your mother happy. while she's still here. "And congratulations on your upcoming wedding!" She accepts that they are not meant for each other. 
Matthew held both of her hands."I'm sorry, sweetheart. Really, I love you, and even more now that something happening to us. I want to stand by it. You are the one I want to spend my life with, but the opportunity is not with us."
Rosy nodded because he was right."I'm leaving; goodbye, Matthew!" Her voice was so sad. 
Matthew has not let go of Rosy's hand. If he is the only one to follow, he will never let go of her. What if they just ran away? "Let's run away, sweetheart," he said. If she says yes right away, they will be gone here in Manila. or they go to other countries. 
Rosy smiled and shook her head."Runaway isn't a solution, Matthew."
Matthew nodded. Yeah, he will hurt his mother. 
Rosy pulled her hand."Goodbye!" She was about to stand up when Matthew pulled her back. 
Matthew hugged her so tight."I love you so much, Rosy!" he whispered in her ear. 
Rosy wanted to cry, but she held back her tears. She let them be like this for awhile. 
A few seconds passed."I have to go, Matthew. I'm going to be late for work."
Matthew has released Rosy. 
Rosy immediately stood up quickly, headed for the door, and got out. 
Matthew sighed. When Rosy went, he clenched his fist. He stood up and picked up the clothes. He approached the glass window to look at her. 
Rosy's every step is sluggish as she walks away from Matthew's condo. And she couldn't stop the tears from flowing down her cheeks."Rosy, aren't you used to being brokenhearted? Don't cry." She wiped away her tears in case someone else saw her. 
Matthew could see Rosy from afar. He felt she was hurting. He wants to wash away her pain. But... damn how? If he didn't think about his mother, he would run down to stop her from leaving him. 
As the days passed, Rosy became lethargic. Even in her work, she is like a robot; she follows everything they say to her. 
Lunch time at work. Lia approached her."Even worse, Rosy," she refers to her breakup with Matthew. 
Rosy looked at Lia with sad eyes."Because I love him!"
"Oh well, let's go to the bar." Maybe it would have happened to you in the second round, but..."
"What's second around?" Rosy is interpreting what Lia is saying. 
"I mean new love. But of course he's not because he's taken? Cupid also plays differently, right? It should be meant to be to each other's forever. not only at first. It's nice to grab his arrow, then I'm going to hit it with him so that he also experiences being in love and brokenhearted if Cupid's woman goes to another Cupid man."
Rosy laughed because, if what she said, even Cupid was to blame. 
"That's how you laugh, Rosy."
"Yes, I will if you make me laugh."
"Hmp! You're going to make me a clown, which is fine as long as you're happy. Let's go."
Rosy stood up smiling, and they went inside. 
Before they parted, "Rosy, smile," Lia said. 
Rosy nodded at her with a smile. 
When Rosy entered their department, she frowned because everyone was looking at her. 
"Why?" she asked. 
But no one answered her. Earlier, while she was on her lunch break, their big boss, Gabriel, came and immediately looked for her. 
Everyone looked at the door as their boss's office opened. Rosy now understands why they look at her like that. 
Gabriel approached Rosy with a smile."Rosy, did you eat well?" he asked. because Shopia said that she was not there because she had lunch. 
"Of course, sir. I eat well," she responds to him. 
"Okay, good."
Rosy thought he had nothing more to say."All right, sir, I'll be at my place."
"Okay, but wait, Rosy."
"What is that, sir?"
"Accompany me tonight, okay."
Because Gabriel said everyone looked at Rosy, especially all the women, you can see jealousy in their eyes. 
Rosy had a look of rejection. 
Gabriel knows she will not say yes to him. "Please, please, Rosy," he pleaded. 
Even she wants to reject him. Rosy just nodded at their boss. 
"Okay, I will pick you up at seven. Be ready!" he smiled. 
"Okay, sir." She headed to her seat. 
"I'm going now, Shopia. Bye." 
"Go, Gabriel."
After their big boss left, Shopia approached Rosy. 
"Is Gabriel courting you, Rosy?" she asked. 
Rosy immediately stood up. "No, ma'am," she replied. Well, really not. 
"Are you sure, Rosy? Because, Gabriel, if he likes a woman, he will ask to have dinner with him."
Rosy no longer wondered why her boss had asked her. Maybe until now she liked her big boss. "I'm sure, ma'am, sir Gabriel doesn't say anything that he likes me. And if he does tell me that, he will date me. I will not accept, ma'am, because we are not on the same level and I know where I belong."
She nodded at Rosy's answer."Okay, keep working," she said and left. 
Rosy just sighed. 
At night, Rosy was wearing simple clothes. She was wearing a white puff dress that reached her knees. Her makeup is also simple. 
"Date?" asked Lia, sitting in the living room. 
Rosy shook her head; for her, it wasn't a date. because Gabriel didn't say let's date, Rosy. 
"No? Oh, where are you going?"
"Sir Gabriel is asking me to accompany him tonight."
Lia smiled."That's right, Rosy. Go out so that your mind and heart are not all about him. You know what maybe, sir Gabriel is really meant for you."
Rosy just shook her head at Lia's words. Her mobile phone rang, and she singled out Lia to answer it. "Hello, sir." 
"Rosy, I'm outside now," he said. 
"Okay, sir, I'm going out," she said after turning off her phone. "I'll leave you, Lia."
"Enjoy your date, Rosy."
"Crazy," she smiled and left. 
When Gabriel saw Rosy, he smiled. He felt good when he saw her. For him, really, she was simply gorgeous.
"Good evening, Miss beautiful," he greets her.
Rosy smiles brightly. "Good evening, too, handsome," she says back, returning what he said to her.
Because of that, they were both smiling.
Gabriel opened the car door for her.
"Thank you, sir," Rosy said.
"Your welcome, Miss Labrador. "And please call me by my name; if not, I will not send you back home," he joked.
Rosy smiled again. "Okay Gabriel."
Gabriel shook his head because he knew Rosy didn't want to be with him as a couple. 
While they were on the way, Rosy was speechless. She didn't talk at all. 
Gabriel couldn't stand it."Why are you sad, Rosy?" Aren't you happy to come with me? Just tell me now, we won't go any further."
Rosy looked at Gabriel. He also noticed her sadness."No, sir. "I'm just thinking about something," was her alibi. 
"It's like you're brokenhearted; am I right, Rosy?"
Rosy was shocked. But she won't admit it. "Sir, I'm just sad, but not brokenhearted."
"Okay, I believe if you say my name, you already forgot what I said to you earlier."
"Okay, Mr. Gabriel Magno," she said with a smile. 
Gabriel smiled."Good."
When they arrived at the Champagne Room Restaurant in Makati, Rosy no longer wondered why they were eating here. The waiter greeted them. 
"Any reservations, sir or ma'am?" he asked. 
"Yes, Gabriel Magno."
"This way, please, ma'am and sir."
They were both smiling as they followed the waiter. 
The waiter stopped at a table. When they got close, Rosy almost couldn't step because Matthew was on the other side of the table.
Matthew looked at the people who were coming. He clenched his fist because Rosy and Gabriel were coming to the other table.
