ONE MONTH LATER
Matthew and his family are eating breakfast. 
"Matthew, tonight is your engagement to Gabrielle," his mother said happily. 
Matthew only gave his mother a simple nod. He thought about how quickly the days had passed. For a month, he has been greatly missing Rosy. Actually, he approached her in private at both her place of work and outside her home. Every time he sees her, he wants to go and give her a big hug, but his predicament prevents him from being able to. 
"So, you and Gabriel Magno know each other, Matthew?" asked his older brother. 
Matthew looked at his older brother. Yes, when they met for dinner to introduce their families. He was surprised to see him. He said that he did not believe it when his sister said that they were going to wed. So when they meet, he already believes. That night, he could see in his mother's eyes that she was so happy because everything was settled between the two families. "Yeah, he's one of my VIP clients."
"Matthew, are you happy?" asked the father. 
Matthew looked at his father seriously. His eyes said no. "Dad, you know my answer to your question."
"Okay, we are going together to their house tonight."
"You go first, I have to finish something in my office," Matthew responded to what his father said. 
"Okay, but you should always look at the time so you don't get late, Matthew."
Matthew just nodded at his father. 
Rosy entered their department. His boss immediately called him. 
When he entered his office."Yes, ma'am. Do you want me to do something?"
"No, nothing, I just have something to say to you."
"What is it, ma'am?"
"Well, Gabriel, he said go to his office. We met earlier in the elevator. I asked him why? He said just go to his office."
Rosy wondered what he needed from her; she admitted that they were getting close these past few days. But it doesn't say anything about his feelings; maybe it's not done yet to study what his true feelings are for her? "All right, ma'am, thank you."
"Go to him first, Rosy. He might ask you to do something important."
Rosy immediately left the boss's office. while he was heading to the elevator to go to their big boss. Now he realized there was no jealousy mode in the voice of her boss, Shopia. Her treatment of her is very professional. 
When the elevator doors opened, Lia was right inside. It's going to their department. "Where are you going, Rosy?" she asked. 
"In Sir Gabriel's office, Lia."
Lia looked closely at Rosy. She knows what happened in her four-day love affair with Matthew. 
"Don't look at me like that, Lia. He might just ask me to do something. This is what ma'am Shofia said too."
"I didn't say anything. But you two are always together; isn't there a love story brewing between you, huh?"
"You just said it was nothing, Lia." Rosy shook her head. 
"Maybe, Rosy, you know you are meant for each other."
Rosy just shook her head at Lia's words. For her, she knows in her heart she hasn't moved on yet from Matthew, especially since they last met at the restaurant. She was trying to forget it. Because they are still new but she can't do it, her heart is still looking for him. 
Lia will go out first before the elevator stops in their department. "Rosy, if Sir Gabriel says, Rosy, let's date for real,  go all the way, okay?"
Rosy shook her head again with a smile but finally winced. because of what Lia said. This is the line that Matthew told her. 
When Lia came out, she said, "Babu, fighting, Rosy."
When Lia was gone, she suddenly got nervous that he might say, Let's date real Rosy. "Just relax, Rosy; she might just say something to you. Don't overthink it," she reminded herself. 
When their boss's secretary saw her, she asked, "Rosy Labrador?"
"Yes ma'am."
"Just go inside, Rosy; he told me that you would come."
Rosy smiled at the woman and said, "Thank you."
Rosy knocked on the door first. It's not good to come in suddenly.
"Come in," Gabriel said. 
Rosy immediately opened the door. "Sir, are you calling me?"
Gabriel smiled. "Yes, Rosy. Sit down." He stood up and came to the door, which he opened. "Hazel, make us some tea, please!"
"Coming, sir."
Rosy sat on the edge of the long couch. 
Gabriel sat next to Rosy. 
Rosy looked at the empty seats and wondered why he sat next to her. 
Gabriel waited for their tea to arrive. When his secretary put the tea on the table, he asked.
"Thank you, Hazel."
The woman nodded at his boss and then went.
Gabriel poured the tea for Rosy. "Drink it while it's hot."
"Thank you, sir."
"Maybe you're wondering why I called you, Rosy."
"Yes, sir, do you need anything?"
"Yes, I want you to come with me again."
What will they buy a new car for again? It was only a month ago. "Where are we going, sir?"
"A party!"
"Party?"
"Yes, Rosy. Please come with me. so that I won't be out of place at the party.
"Sir, why me? I'm not used to going to parties."
"Just stay by my side, Rosy. That's all."
"Sir, you can ask ma'am, Shofia, to accompany you."
Gabriel frowned because of what Rosy said. "You think so?"
Rosy nodded. Of course, even if it was his ex. 
"You're the one I want to be with, Rosy. Shopia will also go to the party. And let's not talk about her, okay?"
Rosy just nodded. 
"So, Rosy. Will you come with me?"
Rosy just nodded again. It's okay to somehow change the ambiance around her. 
"Thank you, Rosy. "I'll pick you up before seven tonight, okay."
"Huh? Tonight sir?"
"Yes, Rosy. So, be ready, okay?
"Alright, sir, how about I go back to my work now?"
Gabriel nodded to Rosy. And he looked at the woman coming out of his office. He did not say that it was the engagement ring of his sister and Matthew. There is no reason to say more because the two do not know each other. 
By six o'clock, Rosy had prepared herself. She wore a v-neck fitted sheath with split hollow out lace; it was a simple dress. She let her hair down and just put lipstick on her lips. She did not put on ornaments. When she came out of her room, Lia stared at her. 
"Wow! Where's the party, Miss Labrador?"
"I will go with Sir Gabriel, Lia."
"Ah, that's why he called you to his office. "To tell you to join him, Rosy."
Rosy nodded to Lia."What do you think of my outfit, Lia?" she asks her. 
"Of course, Rosy. It's okay; you're really beautiful. Now that I look at you, Rosy, you look like a rich kid."
"You're too much, Lia."
"It's true. Even if you're wearing something simple, your unique appearance comes out."
The message alert on Rosy's phone rang. She looked at it. "I'm already outside," she read. 
"Alright, Lia. Sir, was already outside."
"Enjoy, Rosy. and find love. Oh, not anymore because he's by your side already."
Rosy just shook her head, and then she left Lia. 
When Gabriel saw Rosy, he was impressed by her beauty. because she was simple but gorgeous. when Rosy approaches him. "What a beautiful evening," he said with a smile.
Even though he didn't say she was the beautiful Rose, you get what he means. "Yes, it's a handsome evening," she responded to him.
Gabriel smiled widely and said he supported her getting into the car. 
While he was driving, Gabriel kept glancing at Rosy. "You are so stunning tonight, Rosy!" He could not bear to praise it. 
"Thank you, Gabriel."
"Really, it's not a lie, Rosy."
Rosy smiled."I  believe it; your aura says that you don't know how to tell lies."
"Well, I tell lies too, Rosy."
"Really?"
Because they were talking, they didn't realize they had arrived at Gabriel's house. Rosy thought that the party they were going to would be held at the hotel. 
After Rosy got out of the car,
"Welcome to our house, Rosy," said Gabriel. 
Oh, the party at their house! And there are so many people. 
"Your birthday, sir?"
"No, my sister's engagement party. Let's go inside, Rosy."
when they go inside. Matthew and Rosy's eyes locked onto each other. 
Suddenly, Rosy's heart beat faster. But she didn't make it obvious. She was curious why he was here. Gabriel and him are not close or even friends. Maybe their parents know each other because they're wealthy people. 
Gabriel took Rosy's hand and placed it on his arm. As a man, he knew what Matthew's look at Rose meant. because he has a twinkle in his eye. He wondered why his brother-in-law soon looked at Rosy like that.
Matthew clenched his fist at what he saw. Damn, he felt so jealous right now. He seems to want to approach the two and then kiss Rosy to convey that she is his woman. But he can't do it. because tonight is his engagement. 
Rosy sees everyone with a smile on their face. Except for Matthew, he looks so serious. She knows why. Because their hearts were in the same spot, they loved each other. 
When the main event started, the two people involved in the engagement that was going to happen were called. 
Rosy covered her mouth. because Matthew was the man. She accepted that he was getting married. But why is it painful to see it? She couldn't stop herself from crying. She touched Gabriel's arm. 
"Yes, Rosy."
"Gabriel, can I go to your comfort room?"
"Okay, come with me."
"No, I will go alone. Where is it?" She tries harder not to let her tears flow. 
"Just go straight to the right."
"Thank you, Gabriel."
"Go, Rosy."
She immediately nodded and went. 
Rosy was close to the comfort room when someone entered; she almost bumped into him because of her haste. "I'm sorry," she said. 
"It's okay, Miss."
Rosy looked at the old man who spoke."I'm really sorry, sir."
The gentleman frowned when he saw the woman's face."Ro-Rosy," he mentions the woman's name. 
Rosy wondered why he knew her name; she didn't know him at all. "Do you know me, sir?" she asked him. 
"You're a rosy Labrador, aren't you?"
Rosy is even more curious because he knows her surname. "Yes, sir, why do you know me?"
Suddenly, the gentleman burst into tears. and hugged Rosy. "My daughter, oh God, finally I saw you."
Rosy's mouth fell open upon hearing what he said. She is his daughter if she heard right? 
Gabriel frowned when he saw what the father did to Rosy because he followed her because she might not know where the comfort room is. He hugged her. Why? He came immediately. "Daddy, what are you doing? Why did you hug her?"
Rosy looked at Gabriel when the old man released him. Does this mean that he and Gabriel are siblings just in case, but how did this happen? 
"I will explain to you, Gab, why I hugged her. Come with me to my office. "You come with us too, Rosy," he said. 
Gabriel frowned. What does his father know about her name? How did this happen, and they just met? They both followed Gabriel's father. 
When they are inside his library office,
"Sit down," he said to the two. He took an envelope from under the drawer. He opened the door and brought out a picture. placed in front of the two. 
Rosy frowned because she was the one in the picture. She is still young here, at the age of fifteen. Her mother even took a picture of her before he passed away."Why do you have that picture of me, sir?" she asked. 
"Read what's behind you, Rosy."
Rosy picked up her picture and looked at the back of it. 
"Rosy is your daughter. I'm just letting you know. But don't look for her; just let what happens in her life happen. I also don't want your family's lives to be messed up. Just promise that to my soul, Gabby.
Rosy burst into tears. because she knows her mother's handwriting. 
Gabriel looked at his father."So, she's my half sister, Dad?"
"Yes, Gabriel. She is."
Gabriel and Rosy looked at each other. Now they know why there is no love attraction between them: they are siblings.
