BECAUSE Matthew's mind is confused and he wants to think carefully about what he should do. Does he really have to choose? His mother just wants him to get married. But he wished that she had talked to him first. Not that she settled with a woman right away. Damn, now his mind is divided. because his situation is chaotic and he wants to think properly. So he decided to go to their rest house in Tagaytay. He wanted to be alone for a while.
After an hour and a half of driving, Matthew reached Tagaytay. He first stopped at the people's park to get some fresh air because it was still early and there were only a few people around. Matthew shouted three times because he felt so frustrated. He wants to release his feelings of irritation or anger. But he can't get angry at his mother. He took a deep breath, then he walked to his car. 
After washing, cleaning, and taking a shower, While she was sitting on her bed, Rosy kept looking at her mobile phone. She wondered why she hadn't received any message from Matthew since his last message to her. Shouldn't there be a sequel? Like, what are you doing? Or did you eat it? But she also thought that maybe he was just busy. She sighed. She wonders to herself that she is not like this to her ex. Is it that you want to see him right away, or even a message that you are happy when you read something from him? Is love really like that? And does that mean she doesn't like exes? Or was she just carried away by their sweet words? So she immediately trusted that he would love her faithfully. She picked up the phone. What if she was the one to message Matthew? But what will she say? What are you doing? Where are you? She is like a wife if she asks that. She put the phone down again; she will just wait for it to message her, then she will answer. She left her room and went straight to the kitchen to see what they could eat for lunch. 
When Matthew arrived at their rest house, the housekeeper greeted him. But he told them to take today off because he wants to be alone. He went straight to the minibar. He immediately opened the Smirnoff vodka. He poured half of it into the glass. He just drank it in one gulp. He drinks until he gets drunk, and when he can't drink anymore, he staggers towards the couch and just drops his body on it. 
In the evening, the housekeeper couple arrived at the rest house. They saw Matthew sleeping. 
"Harold, sir, is drunk," said the lady. 
"Yes, look at how he finished the two bottles of liquor; how can he not sleep right away? Just cook a meal for him, Carlota. Just put it in the warmer so he doesn't have to heat it up," he ordered to the wife.
It's twelve o'clock, and Rosy hasn't slept yet. because Matthew didn't even bother her the whole day. She seemed to want to cry. Doesn't he have
one word? Or maybe he just tried her by saying, "Let's date for real." And she's stupid because she immediately agreed. She even beat the song "One Week of Love." They only had love for one night."Fraudsters!" she exclaimed.
The next day at Matthew's house, they keep calling him, but his phone is turned off. 
"What, Michael, have you contacted Matthew?" asked the father. 
"No, Dad. His phone is still off."
"Where did that man go?"
"Maybe he's thinking, Dad. You know, he said he had a girlfriend. So it's not easy for him to make a decision, right?"
The gentleman shook his head. because of what the wife did. Their son was going to supper. They don't know that he already has a girlfriend."Maybe he is thinking about what he should do; he will go home."
"Yeah, just wait for him," said Michael. 
It was noon when Matthew woke up. He held his head.
because of a hangover. Even his body felt pain because he didn't even move in the position all night. "Damnit! "Ahhh!" he said weakly. He stood up and went to the kitchen; he needed to drink cool water. because he feels so thirsty. After getting a bottle, he immediately drank it."Ahhh!" "Good," he said. He looked at the table; there was food there, but he didn't have an appetite to eat. He went outside. Even though his head was spinning, he still drove. He went straight to his condo. 
When he entered the house, he took off his polo and went straight to the bathroom. While showering, his problem was sinking into his head. "Ahhh, what did you do, Matthew? You put getting drunk first, stupid you!" he hates himself. 
After he finished showering, he took his phone from his pants and turned it on. His older brother's missed calls and messages came in. He opened the message. When he saw his message to Rosy, he washed his face with his palm. Damn, maybe she thought that he was playing with her. They need to talk carefully so that she doesn't think he's just playing with her. He typed a message: "Sweetheart, please meet me here at my place. Can you? Before he sent it, he thought about whether it was the right thing to do. He nodded for them to speak properly. He sent it. 
For her and Lia's lunch, Rosy is getting everything ready. when her SMS alert went rang. Since she believed it to be from Matthew, she took it right away. She was correct. She grinned broadly, especially after reading what was written there. He wants to meet them, but why at his home? She had an epiphany and changed her mind. Should she go to see him? But she had a suspicion that he was ill. He didn't bother her at all yesterday as a result she replied. "Where is your place?"  
When Matthew saw Rosy's message, he smiled. He immediately replayed it. 
Rosy did not continue cooking. She will just tell Lia to buy ready-made food from outside. She took a big step toward the room to get dressed. 
Matthew went to the fridge to see what was there; it only contained water and beer in cans. He looked at the clock."It's lunch time," he said. He's hungry now and remembered that he didn't eat lunch or dinner yesterday. He will just order lunch for him and Rosy. He picked up the phone. He likes Japanese food, so this is what he orders. 
While Rosy was riding in a taxi, she sent a message to Lia. It immediately replayed, saying that she was already outside. 
When Rosy arrived at Matthew's condo in Pasay, She marveled at the height. She texted Matthew because you can't just enter; you need a passcode on the door at the entrance. 
When Matthew saw Rosy's message, he immediately replayed it and gave her his passcode. 
Rosy immediately entered. When he arrived at the door of Matthew's condo, Her heart suddenly beat fast. It's not that he's scared or anything. Her heart was really beating fast. She seems to want to retreat, but she's here, and Matthew knows it. She rang the doorbell. 
Matthew immediately stood up from sitting on the couch. Headed to the door to open it. when he saw Rosy standing in front of his door. His heart is beating fast. He held her hand and then pulled her to hug. When he felt her body heat, he sighed because he felt good.
For Rosy, even though she is innocent in that scene, she feels as if Matthew is carrying something heavy in his chest. even more, and the sound of its sigh is different. 
Matthew hugged her for a second."I'm glad that you came!"
Rosy didn't answer; she just let him hug her. 
Matthew slowly let go of Rosy's grip. "Are you hungry, sweetheart?" he asked as they headed into the living room. 
"Not at all," she replied. 
They sat on the couch."But, I'm so hungry because I didn't eat yesterday until now."
Rosy was worried when she heard that she looked at him. "Why didn't you eat?"
Matthew looked at her too. "I was so drunk yesterday."
"Oh, that's why. Then why did you get so drunk, you didn't even eat?"
Matthew holds her hand. "Some problems come to me, sweetheart."
That's why he didn't even insinuate yesterday."Wait, you said you were hungry; can I cook something for you?"
Matthew shook his head, even though he wanted Rosy to cook for him, but she did nothing but cook. "I already ordered, sweetheart; it might be on its way."
Rosy nodded. And someone rang the doorbell. 
"Maybe that's my order." He stood up and went to the door. When he returned to the living room, he said, "Let's eat first, sweetheart."
Rosy helped Matthew prepare the food he ordered. 
"You're really hungry; you ordered a lot," Rosy said while smiling. 
"Yes, let's eat and enjoy the food, sweetheart!"
Rosy nodded at Matthew with a smile. 
While they are eating. Matthew simply glared at her. He smiled because he ate well and didn't pretend to eat. Not like other women, when they were together to have lunch or dinner, they ate slowly. 
Rosy looked at Matthew."Why aren't you eating? You say you're hungry, but it looks like I'm the one hungry, here."
Matthew smiles. "Just eat, sweetheart. Don't mind me, I'm happy to see you eating well. "
"Eat too." She poked a piece of dumpling into Matthew's mouth. 
Because of what Rosy did, Matthew lowered his chopsticks. 
"You're done?" Rosy asked him. 
Matthew shook his head and then signaled that she feed him. 
"Child?
Matthew nodded. They both smiled. 
after they ate. "Stay with me, sweetheart. Don't go anywhere today, okay?"
"Yes, I'm not going anywhere."
Matthew laid on Rosy's leg. and he held her hand. 
Rosy was surprised by what Matthew did. She was terrified. I think her cat hair stood up on her body. But she just let it go so that he would feel better. 
Matthew closed his eyes. He wanted to savor this moment. He knows this moment will never happen again. Yeah, because he will follow his mother's wishes for her happiness now that she's still alive. He felt so comfortable being with her. Now, his state of mind was so calm.
Rosy closed her eyes, and they both didn't realize they both felt sleepy. 
Matthew was suddenly distracted from his deep slumber. He looked at their hands. Then he slowly removed their hand. And he slowly sat down. He stared at her. He smiled because her face was so angelic. He couldn't stop himself. He caressed her cheek.
Rosy was suddenly awake. "Huh?" she said. 
"Sorry, sweetheart. If I woke you up."
"Hmmm!" She shook her head."How long did I sleep?"
Matthew looked at his watch. "Same, sweetheart, almost two hours."
Rosy looked at Matthew. What are they going to do here? She thinks it's okay that she can go home now. 
Matthew senses what's on Rosy's mind. He held her hand again. He must tell her what is going to happen between them. "Sweetheart, I want to tell you something. I understand if you get angry. You can curse me or slap me. Do whatever you want. I won't stop you!"
Rosy nodded as if she knew what Matthew was going to tell her. She was sure they would break up because of the tone of his speech. 
"Listen to me carefully, sweetheart!"
Rosy nodded again. 
Matthew told Rosy about the mother's illness and her condition. And what she wants to happen is that he gets married to another woman."Sweetheart, God knows. I love you, and you are the one I want to be with even we just met. But... I want my mother to be happy! Matthew couldn't stop himself from crying. 
Rosy hugged him and felt his loyalty to her. And also, he carries a heavy load in his chest, and she wants to lighten it. "I understand you because you told me the truth. If I were in your situation, I would do what would make my mother happy," she said, because when her mother disappeared, she did nothing. 
Matthew hugged her tightly. His shoulder was shaking. Only now will he cry in the arms of the woman he loves. 
Rosy's tears were also falling, as she felt that Matthew truly loved her. And she knows that she fall for him more even though she knows it won't be reciprocated. 
Matthew loosened up his hug for her. He held her face. I'm sorry, sweetheart!"
Rosy shook her head."Do what you must do, Matthew." She wiped his wet cheek. 
"Do you love me, sweetheart?"
Rosy smiled as he still called her sweetheart. It shouldn't be because they will never see each other again. She just nodded, even if she said that she loved him so much that it was worthless. 
Matthew pulled her and grabbed her lips to kiss her so tenderly. He knows this is the last time he can kiss her. 
Rosy met Matthew's kiss. She will be let him do because this will be her last kiss with him. 
Because Rosy responded to his kiss. Matthew can't hold himself together. His kiss became deeper and deeper. 
Rosy's mind screamed that she should break the kiss that Matthew was giving her, but her heart objected. And also her mind shouting, "Just go ahead and follow what you want."
Rosy just realized that she had risen. Matthew carries her while their lips are locked together.
