The stench of blood pervades the vast and empty mansion. There isn't a single voice there, as if even the wind is hesitant to blow and get close to the mansion. As the mistress never returns to care for the beautiful flower that is always treated with love and blooms beautifully, it begins to dry and wither. There are splattered blood stains all over the place, including the wall, chair, table, floor, and even the withering flowers, which are all colored red due to the blood attached to them. Tens of corpses from maids and servants are still lying motionless everywhere, attracting swarms of flies as the bodies begin to rot. Nobody was aware of the situation, let alone caring for the bodies of innocent unfortunate people. The mansion is no longer inhabited. The great vampire's empty and dark room is not occupied by the owner, leaving only a headless body on the floor. The cracked head is still lying near the body; the eyes of the head pop out, revealing only the white part of it. Its mouth is wide open, revealing a pair of fangs. The laboratory, which was previously filled with the noise and odor of chemical compounds, remains the same, except that the scientist is no longer present. But there is no trace of blood or commotion in the laboratory; it is simply an empty, clean laboratory with no one inside. Helios, the only remaining living creature on the mansion, stands tall inside the mistress's room. His expression is dark. There is visible dry blood on his chest, but the sunsa knife wound has not been treated, leaving an open scar with dry blood. The great vampire is depressed because there is no one in the mansion with whom he can converse. He is completely alone. The handsome pale vampire is staring out the large glass window in the room at the bright sunlight. His chest hurt and felt heavy. His gaze is completely empty as if he approaches the end of his life. He is wondering why he is still there if he will be left all alone again. Why should he survive alone when all he has left is emptiness and darkness? He is fed up with his entire life. He is very lonely, and the large hole inside his heart is growing even larger, leaving no room for him to breathe. He's a hopeless case. He hears a movement outside and a distinct footstep. He is all alone, so where is that noise coming from? Is it possible that the lady he has been missing will decide to return to him? It feels impossible, but the unknown sound causes the vampire to keep hoping. He rushes to the door and exits the room to investigate the source of the noise. When he stands in front of the door, there is nothing but emptiness. Is he mistaking and imagining things? He smiles bitterly, realizing that fate is playing him for a fool. Helios is about to turn around and return to the room when he feels a blow on his chest as if someone had just hit him hard and sent him flying through the air. He coughs heavily from the unexpected attack, which he is unable to avoid. He stands up with a stagger foot, looking in the direction of the attack. The open wound on his chest was bleeding again. Just as he was about to see the attacker's face, another person came towards him and prepared to attack him again, but this time Helios was about to dodge it and instead punch the attacker back, causing him to collide with the furniture and break it on the floor. One, two, three.... he counts. There are at least ten men with muscular and strong figures who are on guard and ready to attack him. All of them share the same traits as the previous man, who infiltrated the mansion and murdered every human inside. Helios believes the attacker this time is the same species as the last. They have characteristics such as vampires who can move at the speed of light, superhuman strength, and the ability to heal themselves. But they're not like him or any other vampire he's ever met. They appear to be controlled by something outside of themselves and attack in response to an order. Despite the fact that all of the artificial vampires attack Helios at the same time, the great vampire still has the upper hand over them and is able to survive their attack. With his powerful punch, the great vampire just sent two of the artificial vampires flying. The intensity of their fight prevents them from remaining in the same place. Helios leaps from the stairs to the ground floor to avoid his enemies' attacks. However, as he flies through the air, one of the enemies follows him and successfully kicks his abdomen. Helios loses his balance and falls into Moon Ryeong's indoor garden, colliding with the flowers. The great vampire can see that the flower his mistress has been taking care of has crushed and broken them all. He takes the crushed withered flower in his hand, angry at what they had done to it. Helios immediately stood up just as another artificial vampire attacked him from all sides. Helios grabs the hand of one of the artificial vampires, who throws a punch in his direction. He immediately breaks his arm and throws the man away from him. When another attacker approaches from his right, Helios immediately turns around and kicks the man in the chest. His strength is capable of winning the battle. He is able to knock his opponent down in no time. But, unbeknownst to him, someone pressed a hidden button on the wall. The button is linked to thin plates installed on the roof, which prevent direct sunlight from entering the mansion. The thin plates are a device installed specifically for the vampire to protect him from sunburn. As the devices are removed, the sun's rays rush into the mansion and directly strike Helios's body, which is standing in the center of the garden. Helios could very well experience excruciating pain all over his body as he is burned by the sunlight. It quickly weakened him and caused him to lose his footing. Helios falls to the ground and kneels. His body trembles furiously as he tries to fight off the burning sensation that will undoubtedly weaken him.

Pretence often creates distance between people and reality. While it can serve a purpose—like protecting feelings or navigating social situations—over time, it tends to erode trust and authenticity. Genuine connection usually thrives in honesty.
