Enemy Lair

Moon Ryeong can't sleep the entire night, thinking about the battle that awaits her. She's been standing in her private room, gazing out the huge glass window at the rising sun, welcoming the new day. There's a lot on her mind, but most of it is about the vampire who has been driving her insane for the past few days.
"Please be safe, Helios," she says to herself.
The people in the mansion are having a hectic and tense day as they prepare to go to the battle together. Areum is distributing the gun with the sunsa bullet to everyone who will participate in the battle to protect themselves, including Moon Ryeong, Sung Gi, Min Seol, Changmin, and herself. She is determined to fight her own father, which she never imagined possible. She takes a deep breath to ground herself.
The five of them exchange glances and nods, assuring each other that they will be able to do this in order to return safely and save the world. They quickly get into the car and drive to the Gongwon forest. Jae Rim, the only human remaining on the mansion, can only watch and hope for the best. He can only watch Moon Ryeong's figure fade further away.
When they arrive at the forest, they get out of the car at a safe distance so that no one in the laboratory is alarmed. Areum is the one who goes forward first on her own, while the other four people stand back and wait for the signal.
Once they reach the deep forest, Areum comes to a halt in the middle of a vast grassy yard. Changmin and Min Seol are certain that the young girl has been stopped at the location where they were looking for the tracking device previously. Areum then clapped her hands twice to request that whoever was watching her on CCTV open the entrance door for her.
They recognize Areum and know she is Smith's daughter, so they easily open the door for her and allow the young girl to enter the laboratory. An emerging iron door with a width of 5 meters appears from the ground. To conceal the location, the iron door has been covered with soil and high grass to disguise it from the surface and make it identical with the surrounding environment.
Only when door is opened, Areum enters slowly, checking her partners from the corner of her eyes to ensure they are already on standby. After she entered, the iron door slowly closed, but just before it closed completely, she inserted a thin metal plate she had previously prepared as a door stopper. The metal plates are extremely thin and were not detected by the sensory system. She triumphantly smiles as she takes the first step.
Areum then enters the laboratory with ease because she is accustomed to being there. Nobody would ever suspect her. She greets some scientists when they cross paths, but at one point, Areum deviates from her usual behavior and goes to the main electrical switch. When she is certain that no one is looking, she immediately turns off the power.
She quickly sends a signal to her fellow using a device created by Changmin and distributes it to the member. Soon after, every remaining outsider felt a vibration from the device. Indicating that the young girl has disrupted the laboratory's electrical system. They have one minute to enter the laboratory unnoticed before the system detects them again.
Moon Ryeong notices the thin metal plates on the ground and tries to force open the metal door. The other members join and assist her; the iron door is extremely heavy, but by combining the strength of three vampires and one human, they are able to open the entrance in the end. They rush into the laboratory to seize their one and only chance. When they enter the laboratory, it is completely dark with no light.
Areum notices a commotion and notices a flashlight light approaching. She quickly flees before being apprehended by the guard. She needs to find her partners as soon as possible. Moon Ryeong and the other members are attempting to find a way through the darkness. Changmin leads the way, followed by Moon Ryeong, Min Seol, and Sung Gi. Changmin collides with something large and powerful when they take a turn in the corridor.
"Asssshh," he curses, his body numb from the crash. At that point, the electrical system was turned on and the security system was restored; everything is now clear inside with the light turned on. Changmin notices a man dressed in a black suit bumping into him. The big man frowns because he didn't see the people who crossed the road with him, and he soon realizes they're an intruder.
The man smirks and flashes his fangs; he is an artificial vampire who patrols the laboratory. He raises his hand to catch Changmin, who is closest to him, but Moon Ryeong appears and stabs his chest deeply. With a sunsa knife in her hand successfully planted on his heart, the lady rips out his heart at once, killing the fake vampire in no time. The man was knocked out on the floor without doing anything.
Changmin exhaled a sigh of relief after narrowly avoiding death. Moon Ryeong shook off the blood from the wooden knife. Sung Gi and Min Seol stare in disbelief at the knife. They thought they'd never see a sunsa knife again because it's so rare on this era. Moon Ryeong, who is aware that the knife she is holding has attracted the attention of others, decides to explain.
"Helios had kept this knife for centuries and had given it to me. I thought that it might help us attack unnoticed "She elaborates. They can't draw any more attention or be noticed by the enemy when they're just getting started, so the gunshot voice isn't appropriate. for the current situation.
The remaining three members exchange glances, trying to figure out why Helios kept the knife that could endanger his own life, and why he gave the sunsa knife to the lady. However, none of them wish to investigate the personal matter between the two vampires.
"Well done!" Min Seol gives Moon Ryeong two thumbs up. At that point, Areum approached them. She is taken aback to discover that the lady has just killed an artificial vampire in such a short period of time.
"This way," Areum frantically informs her buddy of the direction they must take to escape further notice. First and foremost, they must save Helios. Who knows, maybe they'll need to annihilate the laboratory and all of the artificial vampires there. They must put an end to Smith's experiment as soon as possible.
They must go quickly but quietly in order to find Helios. They must also bend over at some time to conceal themselves and escape the CCTV cameras that are strategically placed throughout the area. They arrive at the main laboratory, where several subjects are being tested, some of whom are being injected with Smith's virus. There is also an area dedicated to brainwashing the subject.
"Is there any way we can save those who have been injected with the virus?" Sung Gi asks sympathetically when he sees how many people have been subjected to brutal experimentation. They are all ordinary people who had no idea their lives would be turned upside down in this way. He is determined to save them all.
"I really don't know..." Areum responds in hushed tones, knowing that what her father does to others is the price of creating men devoid of humanity. Changmin covertly photographs every detail he discovers in the laboratory as proof that they must collect.
When they desire to continue, Areum, who is leading the route, comes to a halt and orders those who follow her to stop.
"Oh, Han Areum, why aren't you here to see your father?" One of the scientists approaches the young girl and greets her. He gave her a warm smile, but it vanished when he noticed a weird assemblage of men and women behind Areum.
"Who are they?" the scientist inquires suspiciously, making everyone nervous.

Pretence often creates distance between people and reality. While it can serve a purpose—like protecting feelings or navigating social situations—over time, it tends to erode trust and authenticity. Genuine connection usually thrives in honesty.
