It never occurred to her that the disability of not being able to meet the person she despises the most would cause her such heartbreak. Moon Ryeong felt as if all of her support was crumbling around her as she learned that the great vampire had vanished without a trace. She sat down weakly on the floor, her search for him having yielded no results. Her thoughts are consumed by the guilt and regret that has torn them apart. Why couldn't she trust him before and stand by his side to prevent this tragedy? She cursed herself for failing to protect him in such a way. On the other hand, Lee Sung Gi, who witnessed the lady's demise, feels sympathetic to her. Even though Helios is his greatest foe, he can't hate him any longer if the great vampire doesn't act cruelly and endanger anyone. In this situation, they are all friends who need to support one another. As a result, he can sense the lady's sorrow over this tragic situation. He looked pityingly at the lady, who appeared broken and sad. The remaining member then joins them. After their departure, Min Seol and Changmin take a car to the mansion, followed by another human, Song Jae Rim. The chairman insists on accompanying them and checking on Moon Ryeong's condition. Jae Rim felt a deep pang in his heart when he saw the lady sit down on the floor blankly and aware of the reason that caused her to become in that state. "What exactly happened here?" Changmin is the first to speak up after discovering numerous corpses in the mansion. The stench of blood and rotten corpse makes his stomach sick. "First and foremost, let us assist the corpse in finding a better place." Sung Gi finally makes a choice. He summons his police team to deal with the corpses. He can't just leave all of the innocent victims lying down in the wrong place after they've been brutally murdered. So he goes out to summon assistance and check on the bodies one by one. Min Seol and Changmin trail him from behind to assist the detective with the body, leaving only Moon Ryeong and Jae Rim alone. The chairman wants to congratulate Moon Ryeong and approach the lady, but something about the lady makes Jae Rim hesitant to even approach her. It appears that she is simply erecting an invincible wall around herself, making it impossible for anyone to approach her, and she is drawing herself away from everyone, including him. Even though he hasn't done anything yet, it appears that she will reject his assistance, leaving the chairman standing there silently watching over her. After Sung Gi's call, the police and forensic team arrived at the mansion quickly. They take the corpses one at a time and place them in a corpse bag. They would transport the corpse to the hospital, examine their body, and contact their family. "Please don't make this case public until we find out what caused this tragedy," Sung Gi requests of the police chief. The police agree to keep the case quiet for the time being. After they finished talking, a woman from a forensic team approached the detective. Before speaking with the detective, Kwon Ah In checks his surroundings to ensure there is no one nearby. "Is it also connected to vampires? Isn't the headless corpse a vampire? "In hushed tones, the woman inquires. To hear her question, Sung Gi sighed deeply. He had been bothering her about the previous case, and Kwon Ah In had kept it a secret between them, so he thought he could trust her. "It is, indeed. But I can't tell you anything else... I'm sorry "The detective decides not to pursue the human further in the investigation. Ah In appears dissatisfied with his response. She thought they could work together and help with the case, but the detective has other ideas. "Are you a...vampire as well?" She inquires hesitantly. Sung Gi is tense as a result of her question; there is no any human knows his true identity except Changmin and possibly Jae Rim. However, the wise lady may be able to draw conclusions after a series of incidents between them. Sung Gi does not respond clearly. He simply smiled and patted her shoulder before walking away. Ah In's face is troubled now that the detective has left. After they had dealt with all of the corpses, the three vampires and two humans gathered in the mansion's living room. Min Seol is currently inspecting all nearby CCTV footage in order to track Helios's trail. Moon Ryeong is standing close behind her, while the other three men sit on the chair and wait. "There isn't anything. This location is too remote; there are no CCTV cameras installed nearby or linked to this path "Min Seol expresses her frustration after discovering nothing. Moon Ryeong's expression hardened as she said this. "Without knowing where they had taken Helios, it was nearly impossible to find out..." Sung Gi provides his candid assessment of the situation. "What happens next? Are we just going to sit here and do nothing? We don't even know how much time we have left to save him!" Moon Ryeong is devastated and has vented her rage. Everyone is speechless as a result of her yelling voice; they all know the lady is frustrated right now. Her eyes are filled with tears. "Moon Ryeong-ssi... Please relax. We'll find a way to find him... please relax for the time being." Jae Rim stands up and approaches the lady to comfort her. He touches and strokes the lady's arm tenderly. Moon Ryeong's gaze shifts to him in an attempt to protest. But the chairman's tender gaze compels her to remain silent for the time being. "He is correct... We do have a way to find him. We can rely on Prof. Kang Do Won as our sole source." Changmin reminds them of the likelihood they have. Kang Do Won is related to Dr Smith, he is correct. They can track his movements because he is likely to maintain contact with Smith. As a result, they may be able to track down Helios. "Then tell me where Kang Do Won is." Moon Ryeong inquired quickly. She is desperate to find him in order to track down the great vampire. Hearing the lady's query, Sung Gi stood up and approached her. "Just stay here while I and Changmin spy on him. You should continue to work with Min Seol. We might be able to learn something soon." The detective stops Moon Ryeong from leaving because he believes the lady is in poor health due to her current state of frustration. He is unsure that if he allows Moon Ryeong to meet Kang Do Won, she will act calmly and rationally. As a result, he wishes for the female vampire to remain behind. Min Seol understands her great grandfather's intention. She agrees with his choice. She also tries to persuade Moon Ryeong that, while they haven't found anything yet from the CCTV footage, they might be able to find something later if they look more closely. The lady wants to protest and meet Kang Do Won on her own, but everyone there convinces her not to. "Don't worry, we'll leave right away." Changmin tries to talk to Moon Ryeong, using his best smile to persuade her. Mon Ryeong, in the end, has no choice but to remain. She is still upset that everyone is trying to force her to stay behind while she has no idea what is going on with Helios or where he is right now. As a result, when Sung Gi and Changmin leave to spy on Kang Do Won, she goes upstairs to her own room. She wants to relax and spend time alone. When the lady goes upstairs without saying anything, Jae Rim and Min Seol are helpless. The two of them exchange awkward glances. The chairman then smiled warmly at Min Seol and asked the young girl what he could do for them right now. The young vampire tells Jae Rim that he can assist her in going through the CCTV footage one by one and trying to figure something out carefully, to which the human gladly agrees. Moon Ryeong entered her room and sat on the bed, gazing out the window. She recalls the great vampire usually waiting for her in her private room, gazing outside the massive window. She sighs deeply as she recalls her memories of him. When she is about to shift her gaze elsewhere, she notices a piece of paper lying beneath the couch. She gets up and walks over to the paper to take it. On the paper, she discovers a familiar handwriting. She decides to carefully read the contents. It was written by Helios before he went missing. 'In the end, perhaps I should set aside my arrogance and possession; perhaps I should set aside my pride in order to finally admit that I would never be the person you love. I had been waiting for three centuries and forcing you to stay by my side in the hope that one day you would recognize my heart.... What exactly is love? You are correct; perhaps I will never understand it and will continue to be stubborn in order to keep you with me when it torments you. I should just let you go and enjoy your life without me... But what is the point of my life if you leave like this? Why should I continue to force myself to live this meaningless existence? My presence has no meaning... Would having the ability to die be a lot of fun? Is it possible for me to live this life while remaining invisible... Maybe it would be better if I could just linger around you like a breeze...' Moon Ryeong crumpled the paper after reading it. She is determined to find him at all costs. She needs to tell him something that she has always kept hidden from him. She must track him down.

Pretence often creates distance between people and reality. While it can serve a purpose—like protecting feelings or navigating social situations—over time, it tends to erode trust and authenticity. Genuine connection usually thrives in honesty.
