On a bright day, a man dressed as a servant enters the mansion of the great vampire up on the hill. The servant appears to be distinct from the others who have been working there for some time. He has a muscular and strong posture. As he approaches the mansion, another servant approaches him with a friendly smile who had never seen the man before. "Are you new here?" inquires the servant. The new man does not respond, instead flashing a wicked smile. It perplexes the servant. He examines the newcomer closely and notices a pair of sharp fangs inside his mouth. His pupil was also bloody red, which was unusual for a human. The servant takes a step back in horror as he realizes the man in front of him is not your average human. He was about to turn around and run to his left when the man attacked him with his long, sharp nail. He slashes the servant's neck, splattering his blood all over the place. The servant's body falls plainly as he dies. "Aaaaahhhh!!!" screams the maid who happened to be watching the scene. The vampire rushes up to her and mercilessly murders the young maid in a split second. The atmosphere in the mansion abruptly changed and became filled with horror as the vampire slaughtered every human being in his path. The maid and servant are attempting to flee, but none of them are able to avoid the vampire who is stalking their every move. Han Areum, who is cleaning the mansion, can hear the noise on the other side. She wants to see what's going on until everyone out there screams in terror. She was about to walk out the door when a man with a muscular body came across her path. When Areum notices blood dripping from his sharp finger, she holds her breath; the man gets a fang and a red puppil. With his piercing gaze, the vampire observes her. The young maid feared that her life was coming to an end as the vampire approached her and recognized her. The vampire simply passed through her without doing anything. She is safe and will not be harmed in any way. She dashed off to check on the situation and discovered that no one was still alive in the mansion. The building was filled with a strong odor of blood. She knew it would happen eventually, but seeing the scene with her own eyes still shocks her. She then turns around and flees to a safe haven. She enters a hidden underground room to conceal herself. Helios, on the other hand, is sleeping when he hears a scream from downstairs. It's very upsetting for him. He is standing up and about to go downstairs when suddenly his private room door opens and in a flash of light a shadow attacks him and strangles his neck. "Who are you?" Helios confronts the shadow who attacked him unexpectedly. He is certain that he is the source of the commotion from downstairs. When he opens his door, he notices a stench of blood outside. Helios is enraged because the vampire who attacked him killed everyone there. He smacked the other vampire's hand hard to break free from his stranglehold. Helios then struck his chest, throwing the other vampire into the air. But the vampire who attacked him is not easily defeated; he immediately stands up and attacks Helios once more. They are involved in a vampire battle together. Helios acknowledges that the new vampire successfully blew a strike on his body. He then enters his vampire state, which causes his pupil to turn red and a sharp long nail to grow from his finger. They both attack each other in a fierce battle. They strike a savage violent blow at their opponent and move at the speed of light to attack or avoid their enemy's attack. But the strength of Helios's great vampire cannot be compared to the strength of the vampire who attacks him. Helios successfully delivers a final blow to his opponent, causing him to collide with the glass table in the center room. Helios then approaches him at light speed and strangles his neck tightly. "Tell me your name!! Why do you murder everyone here?" In a threatening tone, the great vampire asks him. But the other vampires simply laugh and mock Helios. He refuses to respond to him. Helios is certain that no matter what he asks, the vampire will refuse to respond. Helios is enraged by the new vampire who attacks him; not only does he dare to enter his mansion and kill the people under his protection, but he also mocks him. Helios then tightly grips his neck with both of his hands and decides to put an end to everything. He used all of his strength to break his neck, send his head flying out, and fall to the floor. He believes that everything has come to an end because his adversary died by his own hand. But then he notices Moon Ryeong standing in front of an open door, staring at him with a rage in her eyes. He drops the headless body as he realizes he is at a disadvantage due to the circumstances. The vampire who attacked him is undercover and dressed as a servant. Moon Ryeong may believe he has just murdered an innocent servant and is the one who slaughtered everyone in their mansion. She appears shocked and betrayed. "Moon Ryeong-ah, it's all a misunderstanding," he tries to explain himself to Moon Ryeong. "Huh? You claimed a misunderstanding. I saw it with my own eyes, but you're still trying to play innocent for a heinous act you committed? I'm so sick of you "Moon Ryeong speaks with clenched teeth. She then walks away, leaving him alone. Helios is stunned in his situation; he is not in a position to explain that he is innocent. Every human in their mansion had been murdered by a vampire, and it all happened after he promised her he would never kill anyone again. If Moon Ryeong believes he is the one who slaughtered everyone here, she must feel betrayed and deceived by him. Moon Ryeong would undoubtedly leave his side this time. Fearful, the great vampire approached the cabinet beside his bed and took out a rectangular box containing a sunsa knife. He then follows Moon Ryeong's lead as the lady want to exits the mansion. "Moon Ryeong-ah. Please listen to what I'm saying." Helios quickly takes her hand in his before descending the stairs. Moon Ryeong's eyes welled up with tears when he forced the lady to turn around and look in his direction. It hurt him so much to see her cry, especially since he knew he was the cause of it. Helios gently takes Moon Ryeong's arm in both hands and pulls her closer. Moon Ryeong's heart is breaking; how could he so easily break his promise to her after she gave him the opportunity to be a better person? How could he so callously slaughter all the innocent people who serve them? Is it really wrong for her to wish for the monster in him to vanish and be replaced by the tender side of him? She is extremely disappointed right now. "Moon Ryeong-ah... It's not what you thought," he tries to explain, despite the fact that he knows she has lost all trust in him. "I never want to see you again. Please never appear in front of me again "She tries to break free from him. She cleans her tears harshly because she is angry that she has to cry in this situation. "Please never say that again. Please do not abandon me "He implores her. Moon Ryeong pushed his body away and attempted to walk away once more. Helios quickly grabs her hand and pulls it in front of his eyes. He notices a beautiful diamond ring on her sweet finger that he has never seen before. He blinks several times as he attempts to comprehend the situation. He slowly draws her finger closer, catching a whiff of Jae Rim. His jaw hardens as he realizes the significance of the ring. He lowers his gaze and gives a bitter smile. "You planned from the beginning to leave me alone, didn't you? The accident today isn't the only reason you're leaving. You should choose him... This is why..." Helios said it with trembling lips. His heart is shattered. He's had a gut feeling about it for a long time. When Moon Ryeong begins to show him kindness, he suspects it is out of guilt, as she is planning to leave him soon. For someone else. Helios' mind has been consumed with worry about it for some time now. And now that the accident has occurred, he is certain that she will never again stand by his side. She chose to leave him alone from the start. "That's correct. I never intend to be with you indefinitely. Living with you has become a source of pain for me. I need to get away right now "She confirms it unequivocally. "I've lived by your side for three centuries because I want to exact revenge and torment you with my presence. But I don't want to torture myself by clinging to that feeling just to be with you. I'm sick of it. I don't care any longer. I don't care if you live a happy life or kill someone else to live in darkness "She goes on. "Andwae..." he wished in a deep low voice. "I told you I couldn't live my life without you. This is not something you can do to me." His eyes are pleading. Moon Ryeong notices Helios taking the knife from the box.The lady recognizes the knife; it is a sunsa knife, which can kill a vampire if stabbed through the heart. Is Helios planning to kill her now so she can't leave him? Moon Ryeong frowns at the idea. Helios, on the other hand, took her hand and handed her the knife. He makes her hold the knife and then points it at his chest. "Instead, try to kill me... If you want to be happy without me, I won't be an impediment. But living without you is like living death for me. It became more agonizing than death itself. That's why, Moon Ryeong-ah, just kill me." Helios presses Moon Ryeong's hand, which is holding the sunsa knife, into his chest. Moon Ryeong is taken aback; this is the first time Helios has expressed a desire to die. Moon Ryeong had stated that she would make the great vampire frustrated with his life to the point where he would want to kill her with his own hand or kill himself, and what she said has now come true. It should be simple for her to grant his wish to die in her hands, but.... she can't. Helios' chest bleeds slowly as the scar from the sunsa knife pierces his skin. He winced in anguish as he stabbed his chest even further. He wants to put an end to everything and get rid of the pain. When Moon Ryeong notices his shirt getting wet from his own blood, she grabs her hand and pulls the knife away from him. "You're insane!" Moon Ryeong then turned away, carrying the sunsa knife with her as she left the mansion. "Moon Ryeong-ah!! Kajima... I told you not to leave!!!" Helios screams as the lady walks away from him. Areum, who is underground, can hear his enchoing scream. His voice is filled with pain. Previously, the two vampires had been involved in numerous fights. Despite the fact that Moon Ryeong had always spoken to him with great hatred and cruel words, the lady would always stay and return by his side. But now, as Helios looks back as she walks away, he realizes that it might be the last time he sees her. Moon Ryeong had chosen to flee his life, leaving him in a deep agony and loneliness that felt harder and darker than any of the previous centuries he had spent without her. Helios looks around silently and notices a lot of corpses laying down on the floor with a puddle of blood all around. He wants to blame the situation, but he knows it will make no difference. The great vampire sat idly on the stairs, staring at the empty entrance door, where Moon Ryeong had just vanished. "Waaaaaahhhhhhhhhh," he screams in agony, trying to expel all of his pain from his chest. He clutches his bleeding chest and squeezes it tightly. Everything has come to an end. Areum decides to investigate when Helios sits limply on the stairs while everyone else is dead. His expression indicates a breakdown to her. From a distance, she had witnessed his heartbreak all over again. But she no longer believes she is capable of doing so.
