For two days, a pair of young fellas have been wandering around a forest. They have been following the signal from the tracker they set up in order to locate someone they are looking for. However, it only takes them deeper into the uninhabited forest. They are certain that they have arrived at the location where they have been followed. But all they find is a large and tall tree all around them, as well as high grass on the ground. "What exactly is this? There isn't anything here." Min Seol is upset with her partner for bringing her nowhere. The girl sagged on the grass, tired and dissatisfied with the fruitless search. "The signal is almost certainly nearby. What exactly happened?" Changmin searches his surroundings for the timeless time, but he finds nothing. "Do you think Lim In Suk is aware that you planted the device on him and purposefully threw it here to cause trouble for you? That's correct!!! He had to do it that way "The young girl makes her own guess, frustrated by the possibility. Changmin comes to a halt on his path to consider Min Seol's opinion, tilting his head to consider the possibility. Was he truly duped by Lim In Suk? "Damn it," he squats on the ground to imitate Min Seol. He lowers his head and scratches his unkempt hair. "Ahhhh!! Even though he did it in that manner, we have no way of verifying it. How did we find that supermicro chip in this location? Oh, my dear tracking tool "The young man cursed the situation and became irritated with it. Min Seol made a ridiculous face at him and mocked him with her expression. "Why didn't you make an alarm or something to make it easier to find the device?" she suggests. Changmin immediately raised his head and nodded. "Ahhhh... Why hadn't I thought of that before?" He thinks about the girl's suggestion.Min Seol mocked him even more with "Stupid." "Haaah!! Let's get back to that old car of yours. What good fortune we have here. Your car can't even handle the area, so we'll have to take a long walk here. But even though we expended energy to get here, we return with an empty hand. What a wonderful day!" Min Seol remark sarcastically on their misfortune. "Aiiish. Why don't you have the ability to move at the speed of light, as your great grandfather did? With your strength, you could carry me back to the car in no time!" Changmin, on the other hand, wished for the impossible and received a smack on the head from the girl. In this situation, how could he talk about her inability? Despite the fact that she is a vampire's descendant, she is the seventh generation from the marriage of a vampire and a human. Because she has a portion of human DNA, her vampire ability is incomplete. She may still have the strength and ability to heal herself, but her lifespan may be similar to or slightly longer than that of a normal human. If she put a percentage of vampire and human DNA on her, it could be between 40% and 60%. The two young scientists must walk a long distance with trepidation to reach the car. They are unaware that before they leave the location where the tracker signal was received, there are people watching their every move through a CCTV camera. "Who exactly are they?" A man who has just entered a surveillance room inquires of his partner who has been watching the two young couple outside. "I'm not sure. They could be just a couple who get lost in the woods while on their way to a camp or something. They appear to be looking for direction "The observer responds with a guess in his head. Because he can't hear anything from their conversation, he draws his own conclusions. The two young scientists continue to stumble their way back through the grassy forest. They had a difficult time getting to the location, which added to their difficulties in returning. The high grass makes it impossible for them to tell whether the ground is flat or has a hole in it. When there is a large stumbling block on the ground, Changmin, who is not aware of his step, stumbles. The young man fell and kissed the grass after losing his balance. He feels terrible because not only did he fail to find the target he had been following, but he also had to fall down like that. Min Seol, on the other side, can't stop laughing as she watches him fall. Her mocking laugh causes the man to hide his face even further among the grass. This is extremely embarrassing. He slowly turns his head to see what made him stumble and take a look at it. There's something that looks like a clay sculpture of a human face, but it's covered in moss and overgrown with grass. The young scientist, who is intrigued, touches the sculpture's face with his finger, which feels squisy. He enjoys touching and exploring because of the textures. Changmin then plays a prank on it by pinching its cheek. When its cheek skin is pinched, the upper lip is lifted, revealing a fang inside his mouth. When Changmin realizes this, he freezes in place. He never imagined that the sculpture would have such a realistic component. His finger came to a halt in mid-air. "What exactly is this?" Changmin is horrified by the discovery. He examines the sculpture more closely and realizes it is not a sculpture at all, but rather a man's corpse lying on the ground. Changmin immediately jerks up and moves backward. "Wasn't that... a.... corpse?" From a distance, he pointed to the stumbling block that caused him to fall. Min Seol frowns and looks at the object at which he points. She squats down and carefully examines it.He is correct; it is the body of a man in his thirties. The man appears to have a bulky and muscular physique. According to his status, he died several weeks ago. "He's got a fang!" Changmin makes a fuss about it. Min Seol then examines and opens his mouth, which is correct. The corpse has a pair of fangs with dried blood on them. Min Seol, a scientist with a keen sense of curiosity, immediately takes her equipment and collects all samples required to learn more about the corpse. She is certain it is a vampire's corpse. But what killed this vampire? A vampire is not a creature that is easily killed. When they suffered a severe injury, they would heal on their own. Nothing can permanently harm them except a scar from a sunsa knife stab to their heart, which her great grandfather claims is not common in this day and age. Min Seol turns over the corpse to examine the vampire's chest, but she finds no scars. It means that the vampire was not killed by the stab of the sunsa knife. She then shifted her gaze to the sky, as the forest they are currently in has large and shady trees that prevent sunlight from entering. She is now considering another factor that could cause the vampire to die: sunlight. But she rarely feels sunlight in the forest, and if the vampire is killed by the sun, his body would be burned to ash with no trace, but this is not the case. Sunlight may not have been the cause of his death. The girl thinks deeply to find the cause, but she feels as if she finds a death end. Changmin, who is just watching her from the side, decides to turn over the corpse again while the girl is still thinking. He notices something strange on the corpse's back. There are three visible holes on it that are close to each other. "It's a gunshot wound," he said quietly, but the girl beside him could hear him. Min Seol directed her gaze to the wound he mentioned, where she discovered a deep gunshot wound. Any ordinary bullet, no matter how large or long, would be unable to kill the vampire. If the vampire's only scar is from a gunshot, she suspects that the bullet was not ordinary. She decides to try and learn the bullet that was planted inside the corpse. The female scientist has a difficult time taking the bullet because it has landed in a deep area. But, in the end, she was able to take it after much effort. The bullet is shaped like a ball and is red due to the vampire's blood. She washes away the blood to determine the origin of the bullet. Min Seol is a vampire with a keen sense of smell. She smells a familiar ingredient that reminds her of a special wood powder her great grandfather once showed her. It smells exactly the same. She is certain that the bullet contains a high concentration of sunsa powder. "It's a bullet made of sunsa powder," the girl informs the young scientist beside her. They are looking at each other with puzzled expressions on their faces. They immediately summon Lee Sung Gi for assistance in investigating the body they discovered. The vampire who heard the news arrived at the location at the speed of light. Sung Gi received the bullet sample from Min Seol and was confident that the bullet was made of sunsa powder. The same wood is used to make sunsa powder and sunsa knives. Previously, sunsa powder was used to heal the wound caused by the sunsa knife and to penetrate the scar caused by it. It can be used as a weapon against vampires or as a medicine to heal them. However, if it was combined to form a bullet that could pierce the vampire's chest deeper than a knife, it would become a lethal weapon capable of killing the vampire. But who created the bullet specifically for the purpose of killing a vampire? The existence of vampires is unknown to society and is successfully dismissed as a myth. Is there such a thing as a vampire hunter out there? They take the corpse to a forensic laboratory to learn more about it. Sung Gi ask a forensic scientist he can trust to examine the corpse and keep it as a secret. He chooses to assist him a woman in her thirties who also investigates the previous burned corpses case. The four of them are now in a closed area, staring silently at the vampire corpse. The female forensic scientist approaches the corpse and opens his mouth; it is the first time she has seen someone with such a sharp long fang. She performs an automatic calculation and compares the shape of the fang to the scar on the neck of the previous corpse. She has a strong feeling that the scar and the fang would complement each other. "What is this?" Kwon Ah In, the female scientist, inquires. "What do you think it is?" Sung Gi, on the other hand, asked her back instead of answering her. He is certain that Dr. Kwon Ah In has already formed her own opinion about the identity of the corpse. She went silent. She understands what Sung Gi is attempting to guess, but she chooses to remain silent. "It could be whatever you think it is, so I need your help to carefully examine this corpse and keep it quiet for the time being," the detective asks. Kwon Ah In stood there silently staring at the corpse, unsure if she could conduct the necessary research. On the other hand, Min Seol and Changmin exchange glances, wondering what Sung Gi is up to by involving an ordinary human in a vampire case. While the detective focuses his attention on the female scientist. Can they trust each other?

Pretence often creates distance between people and reality. While it can serve a purpose—like protecting feelings or navigating social situations—over time, it tends to erode trust and authenticity. Genuine connection usually thrives in honesty.
