“Did I say something wrong?" He said as soon as he caught up to her. She sighed before turning towards him.
“No you didn't, let's just go home" She walked towards the car and waited for him. He sighed before walking towards the car.
“Can you drop me at the hospital?I want to pick up Liam," She said to him as he drove. He was about to say something, mum popped up on his car screen. He pressed receive.
“Hello mum?"
“Aiden, can you come home now, we have things to discuss" Emily spoke. Aiden narrowed his eyes in confusion.
“Why is something wrong?" Ha questioned.
“Just get home quickly, okay?"
“We were just on our way to pick Liam," Rose interjected.
“Liam is with me right now, I picked him up on my way back home"
“Oh" Rose said.
“Okay mother, we'll be right there" Aiden said then ended the call.
“What do you think she wants?" Rose asked.
“I have no idea"..
“Mother we are...." Aiden stopped talking as soon as he saw the two men in suits, sitting on their couch. They both stood up to greet him. He narrowed his eyes in confusion before turning to his mother.
“Mother, what's going on?" Rose stood behind him and observed the scene but as soon as she saw Liam, she walked away.
“Son, they are here concerning the will" Aiden froze. Rose glanced at him briefly walking up the stairs with Liam. Aiden walked slowly towards them and sat down on the couch opposite the men. As soon as he sat down, they followed suit.
“Hello Aiden, it's nice to finally meet you, your father always talked highly of you" the elderly one said to him with a friendly smile. Aiden rolled his eyes.
“You don't have to lie to me, I know my father never talked about me and I'm happy he didn't" Emily moved towards Aiden and held his shoulder. He inhaled before returning his attention to the men.
“Why are you guys here exactly?"
“We came to find out if you have made up your mind about owning his company" Aiden sighed.
“If I don't want it, is there someone else that can take my place?" He questioned. The elderly man sighed.
“Your father only wanted you, he never talked of anyone else" Aiden sighed. This was all too much for him, he planned to go to college and become a professional basketball player but now, his whole life just took a wild turn.
“I'm still thinking about it," He muttered. The two men looked at themselves before smiling at him. They stood up.
“We'll be going now, here" the younger one handed him a business card “When you've made up your mind, please call us" They greeted them goodbye and were escorted out by Emily.
When Emily came back, she saw Aiden still sitting on the couch. She sighed and walked towards him.
“My dear son" She caressed his face “If you don't want it just say so, I'll never force you to do something you don't like" She said softly.
“When you and Dad divorced, you got nothing from him, maybe this is my chance to give you what you deserve" Emily smiled down at him before taking a seat next to him.
“Don't use that as an excuse, we both know that's not true" Aiden pursed his lips.
“When you were younger, you always said you were going to be a businessman like your father but then we got divorced and you instantly changed your mind and said you wanted to become a professional basketball player" Aiden looked at her with confusion. Where was she going with this?
“The point is, you didn't change your mind because you wanted to or because you grew up but because you didn't want to be like your father that neglected us. But deep down, you know you want to be a businessman. I see it in your eyes when I talk about the achievement your father made throughout the years, it's the same look you had when you were younger" Emily told him. Aiden frowned. Yeah he remembered wanting to be a CEO of a big company but does he still want that? He didn't know. Emily kissed his forehead before leaving.
“Go to bed early okay?" Aiden nodded at her. She smiled at him and left. Aiden inhaled and exhaled before resting his head on the couch.

As soon as Rose opened the door to her room, she saw Andrea lying on her bed.
“Andrea, what are you doing here?" Liam asked in confusion. Andrea smiled before climbing down from the bed. Rose locked the door and motioned for Liam to go have his bath. He nodded at her and ran off to the bathroom. She faced Andrea.
“Is something wrong?" Andrea shook her head.
“Well because of the discussion they are having downstairs, mum said I should go to my room but I didn't really want to so I came here" She said with a smile. Rose nodded slowly.
“Alright...." Andrea huffed.
“I mean I don't get why I have to leave the room, I already know what's going on. Aiden is about to become a CEO of a multi-billionaire company, why aren't they including me in the discussion?" Andrea grumbled.
“Maybe they don't want to hurt your feelings"
“Eh??! Why would that hurt my feelings?My brother is about to become a billionaire, I'm happy for him" Andrea declared.
“Well your mother probably thinks you would be angry to know that your father left everything in Aiden's name and nothing in yours" Andrea shrugged.
“I didn't really know Dad that well, we weren't close at all so I'm not surprised and besides, if Aiden's rich that means we're rich" She Chuckled. Rose lips lifted up a little.
“It's good you feel that way".....
