They threw glares as if they were about to eat each other.
With a cocky smile on her lips, Xia Na taunted, "Are you a stalker?"
Upon hearing it, he could do nothing but force a laugh. "You really think so? I came here on a medical camp."
"Oh really?" Xia Na shook her head in disbelief.
"Ling Xiao, let's go," said Xi Song as he approached him. However, his feet frowned when his eyes spotted Li Xingyue.
"Huh, look, Xi Song, they think we're chasing them." He added, "Besides being your ex-boyfriend, I'm a responsible, hardworking doctor. I don't have time to chase you anymore."
Listening to their bickering, Xi Song sighed. "I'm going to Block C. Wrap your drama and come there soon."
He left without glancing at them. Perhaps he was afraid to face Li Xingyue.

While keeping a check on the tools, he noticed Ling Xiao coming. His clenched jaw and pissed look made him chuckle. "Were you happy to see Xia Na?"
"Will you be happy to see your ex again?"
"But don't you still love her?"
"Even if I do, I'll not chase her again."

After concluding all their work in Block C, both reached the local hospital. Meanwhile, when they were reviewing the data there, Ling Xiao caught a glimpse of the man standing on the recipient.
"How can I help you, sir?"
"I booked two doctors for a workshop a few days ago."
"May I know your name, sir?"
"It is-"
Cutting his words off, Ling Xiao shouted. "HEY, HAN SHUO."
Turning his head, he peeked in the direction the sound came from.
"Ling Xiao? Xi Song? What are you two doing?" Han Shuo was amazed.
He showed him his ID card hanging around his neck. "We came here for a medical camp, and you?"
"Oh, I came to a workshop with my staff."
As he saw them, an idea started tingling in his mind. He turned back to the receptionist and said, "I don't need any assigned doctors anymore. My doctor friends are there to help." He shot a smile at them, making them puke.
"What do you mean?" asked Ling Xiao, raising his brows.
"What do I mean? I'm giving you a chance to participate in our workshop. Don't you guys have your girlfriends working for my company? I'm offering you the best deal, okay?" He taunted.
"Tsk! We're doctors, not businessmen," Xi Song added, sneering at him.
"It's your last chance."
"We'll do it. We'll do it." Ling Xiao convincingly grabbed his arm, yet he looked at him in disbelief.
"Alright then! We'll have a tracking activity tomorrow. You can come if you want to join." Winking at Xi Song, he waved his hand and left the place.
He immediately jerked his hand and freed it from his grip.
"What do you think you did just now? We're here to lead the camp, not to join a stupid workshop." He yelled at Ling Xiao with a pissed look on his face.
"Aye! I did it for you. You still have a chance to save your marriage and make up for your mistake."
"Pff! As if I don't know the real reason behind this? You want to stay with Xia Na." He rolled his eyes and moved to the next room, leaving him flustered.
Realising the next moment, he ran to clarify it for him. "Yaa! It's not true."
"It is true."
"It's not."
"It is."

There were fields full of overgrown trees all around, sunny blue clouds in the sky, and the spirit of the trekking team.
After a short exercise session, everyone gathered at a spot and paid attention to the guide.
"I'm Xu Ming, and I welcome you to XingZhong Hills. This place will refresh you and bring your soul back to your body. Let's cheer for our co-guide expert, Darren, to tell us the schedule for today."
"Hello, I'm Darren. I'm your guide, along with Xu Ming. So, our schedule will start with trekking. The next, we will visit a beautiful lake, and after your free time zone, we all will gather for a special dinner in the garden."
Everyone listened to him attentively and cheered with applause.
"We've prepared a bowl of cheats with your names to pick your partner."
After a while, the pairs were made: Han Shuo and Tang Xue, Zheng Li and Xiao Bao, Xu Ming and Darren, Ling Xiao and Li Xingyue, and Xi Song and Xia Na.
"We've given you the map. So, make sure to follow the right directions. Please pay attention to safety and have fun!"
As the whistle blew, all the pairs moved ahead with a blaze of victory in their eyes.
Tang Sue and Han Shuo coordinated their actions and led among them.
Meanwhile, Xia Na and Xi Song even struggled to clear the first phase.
"Yaa! I told you we should go to the left. Now, we're lost because of you."
"Can you stop? I'm trying to find the right path."
Holding the map, he was engrossed in it while she kept bickering.
At one moment, she almost reached the high point of his patience level, but he kept reminding himself about Ling Xiao.
In just a short span, the clouds thundered. A raindrop fell on her cheeks.
She raised her hand, confused. "Wait, is it about to rain?"
Before she could say anything further, the rain stormed at them.
"This crazy girl." He grabbed her hand and ran to look for shelter.
Dusting off her clothes, she stared at the sky annoyingly.
"Pff! Why is it raining already?"
"That's why you should research the place before going there. It's famous for such a season."
Sitting, she sighed in distress. "Why am I stuck here? Especially with you, just why?"
"Count yourself lucky that you're with me. I saved you from getting soaked in the rain."
"Hahaha!" She forced a laugh. "It's definitely my bad luck that I'm with you."
The chaos soon settled into peace when they chose to enjoy the rain instead of bickering with each other.
The smell of damp soil and the sound of rain falling drove them away from reality.
"How relaxing!"
Watching him beam at the sight of rain, Xia Na chuckled.
"Dr. Song, I wonder why she liked you. And when you know how much she fell for you, why did you choose to break her heart?"
This sudden thought of her unawarely threw pebbles at his heart. He seemed lost in his thoughts when he replied to her.
"It's not that we want to break their hearts, but when we had no choice left, we chose to protect them first. Love is complicated to describe. You know your actions were wrong, but you did it for their own good."
A tiny sigh escaped his lips as he raised his head and saw her frowning.
Perhaps he knew how troubled she was feeling at this moment.
"Wait, I'm not the only heartbreaker here, right, Ms. Xia?" He mockingly grinned. "If you knew Ling Xiao could do anything just to be with you, why did you leave him? Why did you break his heart, Ms. Xia?"
