Katsuki was strolling down a path. It was a tragic path with blood everywhere, left and right. Behind him, a soldier struggled to tie a darkening bow behind his back. He took the weapons from the unknown dark swordsmen Katsuki had killed. He's carrying a sword and a darkening sword in his left waist, as well as a bow and arrow behind his back. Katsuki sense an overwhelming amount of energy in the weapons. He realized that the dark swordsman he killed a while ago was powerful and had not had the opportunity to reveal his true form. Katsuki can tell that it's throwing him off. They were still in the Ganko Village's western section. "What's your name?" Katsuki asked as the soldier behind him moved to his right side and looked at him. Katsuki became aware that the darkening weapons he wielded were coordinating him. The soldier was receiving energy from the weapons, but he was unaware of it. They continued walking down the path as the soldier cleared his throat and spoke. "It's McShawn... General McDean's left hand, he left me here because he needed to go on a mission ordered by the current heads," he replied solemnly, sighing. They both passed a warehouse on their right. It was a massive warehouse, but there was blood splatter and a dead body on the ground near the front door. The soldier witnesses his brutal slaughter. He continued to walk as his eyes widened in terror as he looked down the path. More bodies lay dead on the ground, with blood splattered everywhere. He was heartbroken to see the people perish. Some of them, he believes, are probably innocent, while others are not. "That's what I also heard... Weirdly, the General followed their orders... I think he knew what was going on and continued to follow the order anyway," he said, drawing a curious look from the soldier. "What do you mean by that?" he inquired, looking around him to the left and right. He keeps seeing blood, which makes him dizzy, but he holds it in. "One of the swordsmen said it was a trap and I believe he knew it from the beginning but I wonder who's involved and who'll be killing General McDean or the Heads are just leading them to a Dark fort which is what I'm thinking the most," Katsuki replied as the soldier made an expressionless face as he realized it as well. "You've got a point, but life is unpredictable... That might not be the answer, but we'll soon find out," McShawn said brightly to Katsuki. They continued walking as they looked into the distance and saw a clear path with only a small amount of blood splattered on the ground. It was quiet around them, but they could hear and smell something burning not far away. Katsuki ignored it because he knew no one was alive in those flames, but he could tell someone was burned alive. He could sense the emotions of the deceased's presence. He was sweating as he walked down the path, closing his left eye. McShawn is having nightmares in his right as if they are walking in a grave, but this is not the case. Instead of people laying beneath them, there were people on the surface. It scares him, but he doesn't realize the darkening weapons he's wielding are gradually making him stronger and stronger over time. Katsuki becomes aware of the flames once more. That caused him to come to a halt, and McShawn bump into him, causing him to come to a halt as well. He looked at him when he noticed him looking to his left. That caused him to look to his left, and his eyes widened in shock as he saw giant darkening flames in the distance near the giant walls. "Hey, if you're wondering where the hell those bunkers are, I don't know. Only General McDean knows where the bunkers are, but those black flames are quite large, so one could be there," McShawn said solemnly. "I know, it would be a tragedy if you knew everything, you only know two but know there's a lot of them out there. You seemed also right, stay on my back. If I sense a killer intent from you and you are trying to betray me you are dead," Katsuki said solemnly as he noticed McShawn had gone silent behind him. He turned around to see him with his eyes widened and looking to his right. He wasn't looking at the black flames, but at something even more startling. Katsuki turned to his left, looking in the direction McShawn was looking. He looked into the distance, his eyes widening in surprise as he saw a door similar to the bunker's door fly up into the air. "That's a bunker door... How did it explode from inside?!" Katsuki exclaimed furiously as he noticed McShawn's intense breathing. He was shivering in rage, biting his lips and making an angry face. "T-that's where my son was... T-they promised me they wouldn't— You DAMN Darks! You'll pay for this!" he exclaimed furiously, touching his chest with his right hand tightly. His eyes widened in terror as he saw humans being slashed by unknown darks in the air. Suddenly, there was a gust of wind, followed by a loud bang, and both of their ears rang. McShawn glanced up and saw a familiar unknown flying in the air in the distance, and Katsuki realized the sounds were delayed. That enraged him even more, and he jumped into a story house and dashed towards the location of the loud explosion. Katsuki immediately pursued him from behind after noticing McShawn being pushed by his emotions. He was being devoured by it. Katsuki notices his progress as a result of the darkening weapons he carries. Katsuki had to adjust his speed slightly because he noticed him getting faster and faster as he vanished in front of him. His eyes widened as he saw him fade away. He notices McShawn running on rooftops quickly in the distance. He jumped and dashed toward him, immediately joining him on his side. Suddenly, they are both confronted by four dark swordsmen who are holding their swords in their right hand, blood dripping from their blades. McShawn and Katsuki both draw their swords and reach them in a split second. The wind blew fiercely as McShawn arrived ahead of Katsuki, who was completely taken aback by his incredible speed. "Get the hell out of my WAY!" he yelled angrily as he swung his sword from left to right, decapitating the darks who stood in his way. He then dashed ahead and landed on the ground in a different path. As he realized his body speed had changed, he kneeled. He then rose to his feet and raised his head. He casts a glance up into the sky. He sees his daughter fall from the sky, lifeless except for a slash in the chest and neck. Katsuki then looks in front of him and notices a completely destroyed warehouse room. He then notices more bodies on the ground and black smoke, realizing that there was a massive explosion from within. "S-son..." he screamed in terror as he re-sheathed his sword and flew up, grabbing his daughter with both hands and crashing to the ground. Katsuki landed softly on the ground with his sword in his right hand, as he looked around. He notices McShawn on the ground, holding a girl. He was holding a small little girl tightly and he appeared to be crying. His eyes widened as he realized he was in complete pain and regret. He was crying quietly, which made his eyes widen in terror as he realized how much he loved his daughter. He continued to cry as Katsuki sighed, his eyes widening as he began to walk, seeing more dead in the distance. He realized he was too late and that everyone in the bunker had died. He notices a hole in the distance that is smoking. There were unknowns in the ground dead outside, with pieces of their bodies strewn about. He was trembling in rage as he stood emotionless on his ground. He realized he had failed to save people, particularly children. He cleared his throat as he approached the destroyed bunker. He detects no life around him and realizes the explosion came from within. He ignored the dead bodies on the ground outside the bunker to his left and right as the bunker's metal circled door landed to his far-right, completely destroying a three-story house. Massive debris was flung everywhere, and a loud ringing noise could be heard once more. "Why... Why her? Why her...? Why! Why!" McShawn kept asking. He hugged his daughter tightly with both hands as blood dripped down his lap and hands. Tears were still falling down his cheeks, and he was crying silently, expressing his deep, unimaginable pain. Katsuki arrived at the wrecked bunker. He got to the hole and looked down, seeing darkness for a few seconds, then light. He notices more unknowns dead at the bottom of the hole, prompting him to look away and turn around. He walked away from the bunker, his sword gripped tightly in his right hand. As he got closer to McShawn, his eyes widened completely. While carrying his daughter and still cuddling her while sobbing in silence, McShawn was approached by Katsuki, who had a frightening expression on his face. He can see his distress and feelings. He recalled him saying she was the only one he had in his entire life and she was killed. Soldier McShawn was slated to succeed General McDead as his new sergeant. He declined the opportunity to advance, though, and remained a soldier and one of an army's covert commands. He has a dreadful history. Seeing his loved ones slain one by one. His parents were the first. It was a wonderfully contented family. They were prosperous in the highlands, with their own farm field. The dirty heads seized over and executed those who refused. McShawn was the only one who made it out alive. He was fortunate and succeeded. His parents gave him money before they were murdered by their own leaders. McShawn was a young man. After a while, he had a girlfriend, married, and had a son, who is now deceased. His wife also passed away. His wife died while giving birth to their first child. He didn't expect it, and it crushed his heart once more, but his daughter made him happy, and yet she also died because of the darks. All he wanted was a tranquil, happy life, but instead he received misery and suffering that was overwhelming and unacceptable. McShawn was about twenty-five years old today. And his parents were murdered by filthy heads while he was a teen. Katsuki remained menacingly silent in front of him, waiting for McShawn to get control of himself. McShawn can't stop crying, so he inhales and exhales deeply. At this point, he was still cuddling his daughter. "It's painful... But do you have a choice? Either avenge your daughter's death or kneel there, keep hugging her, crying, and waiting for the dark mobs to arrive and kill you. Which choice did you make? You know nothing ever goes as planned in this dangerous world we're standing on. This is Swordsman's Era" Katsuki pointed calmly into McShawn's eyes. "Why does it have to be her? Why does it have to be my wife? My parents? My family... My whole goddamn thing turned sideways! Just because of these filthy scumheads!! It's their fault! It's their fault! Why didn't East act fast?! How did they become leaders?! How! How?!" he exclaimed furiously as he asked Katsuki, who sighs and wonders. "Even I don't know the answer to your right question... Yet, even after the death of your entire family member, including your son and wife, you have nothing to do but continue and avenge them! What else would you do if not? Sit there and be in pain again? Crying all over the floor?" He replied and asked, causing McShawn to exhale deeply while crying. He was trembling. "I'm starting to wonder why I'm even alive right now. Why didn't I just die with them? Why would I work now if they're dead?! I've suffered too many times and if I continue, I'll just see the same thing that happened to me! There's no stop to this... To this madness! Have you not seen?" He answered and asked again as he cried silently in pain. Katsuki was quiet for a minute as he turned to his right and stared away from him. "I have no reason to be here with you, McShawn. Now, if you want to continue, then follow me, and once I'm done, just go to the east village and you'll find the answers you sought from the heads. Shimodo Rou, one of our heads, will answer your questions. I'm not sure what to say to you, but I've seen more than just my family die... I don't have a wife or children, but I can understand your anguish. Take care," he added as he abruptly vanished in front of McShawn, smiling at him from behind the mask. His eyes widened even more as he screamed in anguish and cried even harder. Katsuki appeared near the dark flames. He emerged on the ground, standing amidst a tangle of grass and dirt. He looked ahead, holding his sword in his right hand, and saw a massive black flame at least 200 feet high. He notices black flames attempting to burn a metal door. It was working, slowly melting the metal-circled entrance to provide access to the bunker's inside. Katsuki approached it with a menacing stroke of his sword, spotting two gigantic dark monsters encircling the circular metal door. Both monsters turn around. Their entire body was pure black colors, and dark particles were wildly streaming around them. Katsuki approached them two menacingly with dark flame hands. As they charge toward him, they both yell at him. The blade of his sword glowed bright yellow, and the tip of his blade resembled a dragon. It was bright when he saw the two black beasts approach him. They stood at least seventy feet tall. They both punched their palms at him with great power. Katsuki leaped and swung his sword a couple of times in the blink of an eye, leaving a black blazing trail behind him. He fell behind them both, and they were instantly sliced into numerous pieces and then ash. He was enraged more than ever after seeing McShawn in anguish. He moved closer to the blazing metal door. He reaches it and swings his sword from right to left with his right hand, slashing the black flaming. The separated black flame vanished into thin air, leaving just small black flames in front of him. He seized the sheath in his left waist with his left hand and swung it a couple of times against the metal door near him in the air blowing the black flames. He extinguishes the dark flame with a couple of swings of his sheath. After hundreds of swings with his sheath, the black flame was quenched. He sighs deeply as he re-sheathes his blade. He then slowly stretches his left hand and arm and inhales deeply. He was exhausted as he repeated the code McShawn had taught him to open the bunker door. He accomplished it, and the door to the bunker slowly began to open as Katsuki could still feel the heat above it. He notices a soldier beneath the circular door opening it, and his eyes widen. He notices a soldier who is missing his right hand except for his left hand, which he uses to open the door. His right hand was wrapped in a special material designed to stop the bleeding and burn. The soldier caught a glimpse of him and smiled brightly as an arrow appeared on his side. It was about to strike him and kill him when McShawn snatched the arrow with his right hand. He saved the soldier because Katsuki didn't notice him till he seized the arrow. He also didn't spot the arrow when Katsuki moved to his right, and the soldier quickly slammed the bunker door in fright. Before looking where the arrow came from, he looked at McShawn, who was up on his feet, and wiped his eyes clean. He then looks to his right, where he sees the mysterious shooter of the arrow. They observe a dark figure standing on a demolished two-story house with a bow and arrow in its hands. He was on its wall, and they could both tell it wasn't a typical dark mob. They could feel a great black force inside, and Katsuki could clearly perceive his demon's presence. The unknown was dressed in a dark blue mask and hood and appeared to be smirking menacingly behind the mask. "McShawn... Good to see you back, now let's defeat these destroyers who ruined so many people's lives," Katsuki muttered menacingly as he saw McShawn drop the arrow he had snagged mid-air and nod. With his right hand, he draws his darkening sword. His demeanor altered and he became more calm than normal.
