The General, The Past (Part 6_Æ)

General McDean, the mystery General, has arrived at the back gate with his soldiers. While riding his horse, he comes to a halt in front of a dead soldier. He was smiling and bobbing his head left and right as he looked at the soldier.
He then rode forward with his horse, and his army trailed behind him as he led the way. He was dead serious, with no emotions or presence, just like his troops.
They entered the Ganko Village quietly, and what they saw caused their eyes widen. They weren't surprised, but they didn't expect it to happen to the village. They saw demolished houses and blood in the path. Even from afar, there was nonstop blood in the dirt path. There were also dead bodies all over the place.
"This place looks more than just a grave than the last time I left, it's a sight to see, and what an unfortunate day," General McDean stated solemnly as they advanced farther into the village.
"General McDean, do you think it's still necessary to walk back into this Village? I mean, we could've just left and waited for the reinforcements from the east to arrive," an Unknown Sergeant on a horse asked. He was to the left of the General, who began to smile as soon as he heard him speak.
"No, we have things here that need to be done, and based on the day today, they've probably left. They can't be here unless Shira's from the east have arrived to secure the children in the bunkers and rescue them all out here by tomorrow to the east," General McDean replied, smiling.
"Very well, General," the Sergeant remarked, nodding to the General. He fastened his horse and did the same as the armies of soldiers behind him. They continue marching past dead unknowns in the ground as soon as they fasten their horses.
The General and Sergeant, like their soldiers, didn't give a damn. There was blood on the ground and massive rubble from houses in their path, but they could get around it with their horses.
After a few minutes, they arrived to the Capital in the center of the village. They were all perplexed because they thought the General was lost and had been brought to the wrong side of the village, but the General wasn't giving any vibes and was positive the capital was right in front of him.
There was nothing in front of them but open space and a path to nowhere. He could see blood down a stairwell. He also notices new footprints on the ground, which causes him to pause. He dismounts his horse as he approaches downstairs in the distance.
"This is the capital, there's no mistake... If I'm mistaken, I'd rather retire," he reasoned as he cleared his throat and drew his sword with his right hand. As a few men followed the General from behind, the Sergeant remained on his horse.
He reached the stairs and started walking down them. He saw nothing but darkness, but as he slowly reached the bottom of the stairs he could see light. He reached a hallway and what he saw made his eyes widen in terror.
He finds the Ganko Village's lifeless heads horrifically murdered on the ground. He could see pitch dark in the distance as they were showering in blood. He had goosebumps and nearly threw up. He turned around and left the underground facility.
He returned to his horse, running. The Sergeant and his troops notice him returning to his horse and leaning on it. He took a deep breath as he lighted a cigarette from his pocket. He pressed it against his lips with his thumb and index finger. As his soldiers glanced at him, he cleared his throat.
"What happened, General?" the Sergeant asked as he noticed him smoking a cigarette. After that, he took a long breath and glanced at the Sergeant, who was perplexed.
"The heads are dead," he said as the entire army erupted in joy. They all made loud noises, including the Sergeant, who grinned wonderfully at them all. The General also grinned, but only for a brief moment.
He finished his cigarette and returned to his horse. He looked into the distance as soon as he climbed aboard his horse. He looks up and notices gigantic slashes in the sky, which causes his eyes to widen.
The soldiers behind him also raised their heads, noticing slashes in the skies. They were all transfixed and unsure what was going on. When the General realized what was going on, he cleared his throat and a sweat dripped down the right side of his brow.
"Who the hell is fighting over there? They are total monsters! Maybe they are Hashira's deployed from the East! Let's head over there now!" The General shouted as he fastened his horse.
They all started advancing fast, heading to the place where they saw the slashes. It was Katsuki who was having trouble fighting a powerful dark swordsman that came out of nowhere. He was fighting it with McShawn.
General McDean has a horrible feeling as he fastens his horse and advances to the slashes in the distance that are being sent into the sky. It was frightening him.
Until he noticed a swordsman in the air fighting a dark swordsman who appears to be a dark cloud from a distance.
Suddenly, a powerful slash was deflected and it flew towards them. General McDean's eyes widened as he realized that it was coming towards him. He immediately jumped to his left to dodge the slash. He slammed his face to the ground and immediately stood as the slash split his horse in half and destroyed the ground.
There was a powerful wind that blew the horses and the soldiers' way towards a house and some of them slammed into a wall. The Sergeant was also almost thrown away, but he avoided it by advancing his horse to the left and giving General McDean space to jump. He immediately stands upset as he cleared his throat. He then looked to his right, seeing his horse's body fall to the ground.
He then turns around to look at his army, observing that fifty men were tossed away, but they are still alive. As the Sergeant tapped him on the left shoulder while riding a horse, he shook his head left and right and took a big breath.
"My horse got slashed, it took one hit and that happened? I don't care what happened to me, I just want to lend a helping hand, I know we'll just get in the way if we jump in but we're just there to guard his sides and if he manages to defeat that mob and it tries to escape we'll be there," General McDean thought as he turned to his left and saw the Sergeant helping him hop into his horse. He rides on the back of his horse, and they begin to move forward.
Katsuki is high in the sky. He was fighting a dark swordsman who was in league with him. They were both flying past dark arrows as Katsuki sighed and swung his blade toward him.
They were sending flying slashes everywhere, and every second their swords clashed with such force that gigantic shockwaves were blasted all over the place. McShawn was the soldier on the ground who was shooting dark arrows.
He was aiming at the dark swordsman fighting Katsuki, but he almost shot and killed him. The unknown dark swordsman, who appeared to be a dark Shira swordsman, swung down his blade with both hands with considerable force towards him.
Their blades met, and Katsuki grunted as he was thrown to the ground and smacked into a two-story house roof. That enraged him as he pierced through the house.
He grunts as he lands on the concrete. As he made an angry face, he felt his back hurt. When he sees rubble from the house descending towards him, he immediately stands. He swung his sword upward, and the massive rubble of the house was thrown flying and chopped into numerous pieces.
He was furious but his face was calm, the same as his presence. He walked out of the door and into the path. He immediately jumped into a three-story house on the other side of the path and glanced at it. He sees McShawn facing the enemy pointing his arrow and bow menacingly, ready to shoot him in the head and kill him.
"That's surprising... McShawn has him locked up. He can't move or he'll be killed," Katsuki thought as he cleared his throat and approached them. He re-sheathed his blade as he moved closer to them in the distance.
They were on the ground staring at each other as suddenly McShawn let go of the string of the bow and the arrow flew towards his head. It was about to hit him when suddenly he grabbed the arrow with his left hand like nothing and broke it into two.
He then put back his bow and draw his sword with his right hand and swung it down towards him. The unknown Dark Shira swordsman was about to cut him when suddenly he felt something different about him that made him jump backward and avoid his blade.
"Don't dodge my blade, you filth!" McShawn shouted as he continued to pursue him and swing his sword left and right. The Dark Shira swordsmen did nothing but take many steps backwards, avoiding his blade as he couldn't see a way out.
Suddenly, he collided with someone behind him and tapped him on the right shoulder, causing him to come to a halt. When he turns back, he sees Katsuki smiling menacingly at him with a frightening presence.
McShawn's left arm is severed, causing him to jump and dash to his right in mid-air. McShawn was catching his breath as he kept his gaze fixed on the unknown Dark Shira swordsmen.
He heard a bunch of horses behind him which made his eyes widen in surprise. He slowly turns around and sees an army riding horses and a general slowly hopping down from his horse and approaching him.
"General McDean!" McShawn exclaimed as he saw General McDean approaching him. The General immediately stops as he sees dark particles around him. He stands as General McDean sees his left arm is starting to grow a new one.
"McShawn... What happened to you? Have you become an enemy?" he worriedly inquired as the Sergeant behind him draw his sword. General McDean waited for his response and blocked the Sergeant's path.
"No... But it's a long story," McShawn said as he turned around to see Katsuki and the unknown. "The enemy he's fighting is making him mad because that dark is nimble and fast but doesn't have enough strength to kill him unless he made a mistake."
Suddenly, his eyes widened to see Katsuki having his sword stabbed through the unknown Dark Shira's chest. He sighs in relief as he sees the unknown dashes to its right and Katsuki's blade is removed. That caused his eyes to widen.
"Hmm? Did he just take a slide in my blade? That still did some damage, almost half of his body is cut, but it's healing... I'm tired of this," Katsuki thought, he sighed. When he notices him jumping up on houses, he pursues him.
He was about to jump onto a roof when suddenly Katsuki appeared in front of him and kicked him in the face, kicking him back on the ground. He rolls as he slammed his face, which is enough to make him lose his face.
"That man is fast and you said it was Katsuki? That's really him?" General McDean asked as he saw McShawn nodding and couldn't believe what he saw. After he saw the Dark Shira slam its face to the ground, he realized that his left arm was fully healed.
"Yes, General. I'll talk about this thing later, but don't worry, it won't kill anyone as long as it's an ally. I will annihilate every single one of them," McShawn said menacingly as General McDean nodded. They all started marching towards the unknown Dark Shira as they saw Katsuki land in front of the Dark Shira, who began to stand with his sword clutched in his right hand.
"Give up, you can't win or run. Just drop your sword so we can end this thing peacefully," Katsuki snarled menacingly as he pointed his blade towards his neck. He notices the Dark Shira's hand shaking. Katsuki recognized something was amiss with the Dark Shira since he could feel his overbearing presence. He heard footsteps on his right and turned to see McShawn running at the unknown Dark Shira, wielding his sword.
"Wait! Don't! Stay back! Shawn!" Katsuki yelled as the Dark Shira in front of him suddenly stopped shivering and grinned effortlessly at them both. He swung his sword down and thrust the blade on the ground in front of him.
McShawn took a step back and leaped away as Katsuki remained on his feet. Suddenly, the blade of the unknown began to glow brightly, and dark energy began to flow toward the ground in front of him.
"Damn it! Exploding blade! Tsk! Dragon Style, Scale of the Dragon!" Katsuki exclaimed as he launched a technique. He swirled his blade in the air and produced a figure of a dragon scale wall as soon as he released the technique. An explosion happened, resulting in a loud cracking noise and a plume of black smoke.
Katsuki flew out of the smoke, a section of his kimono ripped in the side of his right arm where he held his sword. He landed on the ground and stood menacingly as he watched the smoke in the distance go away. Suddenly, he notices bright black blazing eyes in the distance, as well as a blade flashing with bright blue dark cruel energy.
"Did it just transform?! Or am I hallucinating? What is going on?! Is that explosion toxic?" Katsuki wondered as he took a deep breath and knelt on the ground. The Dark Shira in the distance started laughing.
"Ah, finally, I've transformed. Your death threat and presence have awakened me from the depths. Now, you won't be able to stop me, and based on those moves, I've regenerated it as my own for my inevitable sword," the unknown stated while shivering in wrath. Katsuki could hear the wind blowing around him and felt a peculiar sensation of the unknown in the distance.
His eyes began to widen as he saw the unknown Dark Shira wearing a bright dark demon mask with blue eyes and holding a sword in his right hand that appeared to be different. The blade of his sword has scales and it has a colored blue dragon pattern with a black stain around the blade. The wind around him had begun to heat.
"Transforming won't change a single thing, here and just a simple mimic of my technique? No, that won't change much even though you do a lot of dirty tricks," Katsuki said as he stood and began approaching him. He slides the tip of his blade into the ground to his right and suddenly strokes it and raises it.
He casts a glimpse into the distance, and the blade of the unknown in the distance bursts into flames. It exploded into orange flames and eventually transformed into a dark blue flame, causing Katsuki to halt walking and look.
Suddenly, an arrow could be seen on the left side of the head of the unknown, and was about to strike his head. He took a step back and avoided the arrow that grazed the left side of his head. He then looked to the left and glanced at seeing McShawn holding his bow and arrow and was about to send another arrow towards him. Suddenly, he was joined by more archers from the army and they all aimed their bows at him.
"You humans are not that well mannered, am I wrong?" he questioned bitterly as he turned to face them and swung his flaming dark blue blade towards them, widening McShawn's eyes. He could feel the ground splitting and the unexpected force.
His eyes widened even more as he sees a flying flaming slash coming towards him. The soldiers around him were getting sent away into the air behind him as he realized he withstands his ground. Suddenly, Katsuki appeared in front of him and swung his sword with his right hand, and deflected the flying flaming slash.
The slash obliterated the two-story house on his right. The sound of rubble slamming to the ground can be heard as they look up to witness the house on fire and converted into ashes in seconds.
"Oh, that's hot. These dragon scales blew even more wind that set ablaze and destroyed that house, and for you... Swordsman, it looks like you're burning," the unknown chuckled as he looked at Katsuki and noticed a portion of his blade was flaming. It was glowing blue, and a portion of his left hand was on fire, but he didn't put it out.
"Ka-Katsuki!" yelled the General behind them. McShawn suddenly appeared on Katsuki's right side and was about to reach for his left hand when he abruptly stopped him. He rests his right hand on his left shoulder and carries his sword in his left hand.
McShawn raises his head to gaze into his eyes and sees homicidal intent while smiling menacingly at him. He smiles with his eyes closed and turns to his right to face their enemy, understanding both of the enemy's hands have been severed. As General McDean approached them both, his eyes widened.
