Safety

Fudo, Blue, and Domei arrived in the west a few hours ago. Domei was severely injured and unconscious on Blue's shoulder. Fudo Toka sobbed beside him as an army assisted them in carrying Domei to the nearest hospital in the nation at the time.
They were on Domei's side at the time, waiting for him to wake up. Fudo Toka was crying on her chair, but Blue was comfortably holding her. That made her feel better, but she couldn't stop crying. Domei was unconscious in the bed in front of them. The medics had already treated him in the same way that the healing sorcerers had.
He was supposed to wake up in the following few hours, but he hasn't. They could see him still breathing, but Blue recalls Domei being hit in the right arm and having it crushed. He wonders if it can possibly repair itself and allow him to move again.
"B-Blue... Will he be alright?" She asked in a terrified voice while crying. She was hugging him tightly. It appeared that she didn't have her teddy bear at her side. Blue looked at his surroundings, seeing they were in a small room, and remembered that the heads of the village of the west would be visiting them.
"Don't worry, he'll be fine. They've already given him medical attention, and his breathing is fine," Blue responds with a sigh. He glances at Fudo Toka, who is clutching him on the right side, and notices that she has calmed down a little. He was also seated in the chair beside him.
"What about master? Master Kiroshuku Hakure, what about him? Is he fine? Is he alright? Is he still alive?" she wailed again. He taps her on the head since he notices she's more concerned with Kiroshuku.
"I don't know, but I hope, Toka. He's a master for a reason. I'm sure he'll be fine, even though I don't know what the state of the battle is currently. Your master is one of the few talented swordsmen out there and if he dies, it's for all of us, for our lives to continue. I want you to know that even if he dies, he died with peace because you're alive, Toka." Blue said peacefully as she stopped crying and started wiping the tears from her eyes and cheeks.
They both remained silent as Toka started closing her eyes while hugging. Suddenly, Blue started hearing footsteps outside the room, which made him frightened. He sensed an unknown, unbelievable and incredible presence that made him stand. Toka was still hugging him but she was slowly falling asleep.
"Wh-What are these presences?! Who are they?! They're powerful, I can't take them out if they're enemies?! Is this Kingston's guard? Unbelievable!" Blue thought surprisingly as he glanced at the door and saw it open. He sees an unknown swordsman walk in first, followed by an unknown who's wearing a coat and seems special.
The unknown swordsman moved to the right side of the corner of the room, away from them. The unknown man who seemed special approached Domei, who was lying in the bed. He was followed by a swordsman who remained at the door. He closed the door behind him as he glanced at the man who was approaching Domei.
"Ah, must be nice to lay in a comfy bed in the west. Blue and Domei, huh? Former associates of Kiroshuku Hakure. And who's that little girl? I don't remember seeing her in the records," the mysterious man stated as Blue made an angry grimace and clutched his fist. Toka's eyes are open as she looks across at the unfamiliar man on the other side of the bed.
"Kingston... What's the meaning of this? Those swordsmen are— no... You brought assassins! If this is some kind of assassination. Your mark my word, Kingston. This will be your last breath," Blue stated menacingly to Kingston, who smirked and looked down at the ground.
"Fear not, Blue. We are here to talk peacefully with you. The head, Kingston, wants to know what has happened specifically in the North. We would be pleased to hear more pieces of information about what really happened," the mysterious swordsman in front of the door remarked. Blue looked into his eyes, seeing that he was telling the truth. He breathed a sigh of relief.
"Good, you're calmed down. I can assure you that everyone here is safe. I have assassins guarding the entire building, as well as ninjas, swordsmen, and whatever else you can think of. Now, as for you both, what happened to the North Wind?" Kingston questioned, raising his head and looking Blue in the eyes. Toka hugged him securely and comfortably as he sat back down in his chair.
"We ran all the way here like hell. What's happening in the north is hell, more than hell in my opinion at this rate. I've received information that the Dark King is there, as well as the Dark Legend, but that information is from a few hours ago, so I don't know what their status is now," Blue replied as he exhales in frustration and looked at Domei in the bed.
"It looks like they've up their cards, Blue, don't they? The Dark King forces I've heard. I wonder how about the Dark God? Or even the Dark Lord?" Kingston questioned, sitting comfortably in a chair and glancing at Blue's eyes, which were looking down at the ground. Toka lay her head on his lap as she began to feel tired.
"The Dark Lord is gone, there's only the Dark King and Dark God, and mighty forces of enemies that can annihilate an entire Region all by themselves, and I'd like to ask, what's really the point of this talk?" Blue asked, taking a deep breath and glaring at Kingston's eyes.
"No story lives unless someone wants to listen," Kingston said menacingly, staring straight into Blue's soul. "Those are the words that my father left me before he drew his last breath on this world, and the real point of this talk is are you trying to trick us and be killed? Blue... Your senses have dulled." Blue looked at him, realizing he'd made a terrible mistake.
"I thought you were a Shinobi, Blue. Why didn't you use ninpo? Or you may have thought they'd flee. They were following you, including glitch mobs, waiting right outside our territory. In the forest," the mysterious swordsman in the corner of the room stated.
"That's impossible! I've removed my very tracks everywhere since I arrived here. That couldn't be happening!" Blue exclaimed furiously as he started coughing and blood dripped from the side of his mouth, which he wiped out immediately.
"You're a tough guy... The sorcerers told us that you should've been unconscious, but you're not, which is surprising. I guess you're still Blue, as we all know, but as a Shinobi, you shouldn't make this kind of mistake because it would only mean death," Kingston stated calmly, but Blue could sense his anger.
"Kingston... You know I will never betray my homeland. If it's for the sake of all the people here, I would sacrifice myself for a better world, but it's a little uncalled for you calling me a trickster. If they come, attack this village, they won't succeed, I can guarantee you that," Blue stated menacingly as he looked into Kingston's eyes.
Toka was silently staring at the ceiling, ignoring them. She was thrilled and had no idea what they were talking about. She was staring at the ceiling, visualizing clouds, stars, and a black sky.
"Well, my apologies. I couldn't help myself. It's just that five Shinobis in this village betrayed their homeland, that's why, including a friend of yours, Blue," Kingston remarked menacingly as Blue's eyes opened with curiosity. Toka looked at Kingston, who exhales deeply.
"One of my friends? That seems impossible for me, Kingston, but if that friend of mine is really an enemy, then he's no longer my friend. Who is he anyways?" Blue asked, staring at Kingston. He gazed at Kingston as he sat in his uncomfortable chair. He sighs as he notices him cross his arms.
"It's Domei's brother, your friend, correct? We saw him with an enemy. A glitch mob and a dark mob. We are in hot pursuit. At least three assassins were assigned to hunt him down. Whatever the hell he's doing, I need to know. Now, Blue... I'd like to ask if there's any possibility that he's still with us?" He asked, lowering his head and looking down at the ground. Blue stayed motionless for a few seconds, looking mournful and deadly serious.
Toka began playing with his long hair with both of her hands as her head was resting on his right hip. Toka began to smile, completely unaware of what was going on. As she began tying his long hair, she cleared her throat.
"I don't know, Kingston. Domei is the only one who can answer that question, but I don't think it's okay to tell him, in that condition, he'll fall and lose something important to him. He already lost his wife and son, as well as his entire family, and now his only brother... Life is always hard, nothing is easy, and everything that is happening today only makes things worse," Blue said in a low sad voice as he remembered Domei's brother.
