The Capital Building (Part 7_Æ)

Kenki was sprinting through the forest on a grassy path, gazing around. As he looks around, he notices blood in the trunks of the massive trees around him. He can also smell blood as he looks out into the distance and sees obliterated land.
In the distance, he could also see destroyed big trees. Some of it was on the ground, and half of it had been ruined and cut. That caused his eyes to widen as he dashed passed a dead swordsman on his left. That caused him to come to a halt as he turned to his left to see the unknown swordsman leaning against the massive tree and sitting motionless on the ground.
"A swordsman all the way here?! What?!" Kenki exclaimed angrily. As he got closer to the dead swordsman on the ground. He discovered the swordsman had been torn in two. He was one of the region's exceptional swordsmen who appeared to be dead and unlucky. He notices his split-in-half sword in his side.
Kenki's eyes widened as he averted his gaze. As soon as he looked away, he noticed a picture on his kimono. He cleared his throat as he looked down at his kimono and noticed an image exposed near his chest, which caused his eyes to widen.
He began walking away and then began running. He dashes past more dead swordsmen surrounding him, practically all of whom were leaning against the massive trees. He could smell the blood and sense their presence that shouldn't have been there. He had the impression that they had perished without saying their final goodbyes to their loved ones.
He was about to jump up to a tree branch when suddenly he saw an unknown person in the distance lying on the floor dead. There was blood all over the floor and that made him serious as he cleared his throat. He approached the dead body on the ground, realizing that the unknown had been stabbed in the heart.
He kneels on the right side of the unknown and sighs. He glanced at his face and saw blood on the side of his mouth and got a glance at the unknown fox mask that was split in half. His sword was on his side, snapped into two.
The sheath of his sword appeared to be missing and the swordsman that was dead appeared to be young. He sighs again and stands. He began to walk past him sad, lowering his head. He glances in the distance and sees the destroyed capital building.
"Poor souls... The swordsmen here, no, the special swordsmen here are young, probably teenagers, volunteers maybe? I can't believe that these heads would do such a thing! They wasted these men's lives for just power and corruption. No, I think not only that. I want to express my anger by wreaking havoc everywhere around me, but that would just disrupt my senses and Katsuki is waiting," Kenki thought as he sighed and began to raise his head. He looked at the blue sky and had a glance at the sun and the clouds.
After a couple of minutes of walking, Kenki reached the capital building. Everywhere he looked in front of him the capital building was torn into pieces. He was standing and looking at the building with his eyes widened. A sweat started dripping on the side of his face behind the mask.
He realized it was hot, making him remove his mask with his right hand and wipe his sweat. He then looked around in front of him, seeing the dead workers of the capital lying dead on the ground, crushed by the force, and some of them were even killed.
He also sees four giant trees lying down on the ground and he can see and smell blood everywhere he looks. He began walking as he saw the door of the capital building. That was half and the other half was torn to pieces.
"They didn't show mercy, these bastards are actual monsters. I can't believe this actually happened, for the first time in my life, I encountered such terrible things as these. The village is gone, and the people... The kids..." Kenki reflected as he sighed deeply. He lowered his head, his right hand in front of him, and reached for the door.
It was half a door, and half of the capital building's cement was attached to it in front of him. He wasn't expecting anything other than another wall if he removed the half-door in front of him. With his right hand, he seized it and ripped it apart.
As expected, he sees another wall. He dropped the door to his right and began to look around in the dense forest. He saw the darkness yet felt no one around making him sigh in relief. His mask was hanging on his left waist.
He walks to his left, viewing another area of the capital that has been destroyed. He could now see the main office. It was half, and the other half was entirely demolished. He could see the round table exposed, and he could see it piercing through the wall.
He cleared his throat and scratched his head as he noticed books and papers flying everywhere on the ground in front of him. He lowered his head and caught sight of a brown-colored book in front of him.
He had a look at it and noticed that it was still in good condition. It piqued his interest, so he grabbed it with his left hand and began inspecting it. He cleared his throat as he read the title of the book.
He looked around before looking at the title. He then turns to look at the title of the book. When he realized the book was from a former head of the Ganko Village, his eyes widened. He instantly opened it, his eyes widening.
"Diary?! From Shuzi?! Where the hell did this come from and how the hell is this still intact and how could this thing be here?! I thought the new heads disposed of every book and things from the past heads!" Kenki exclaimed as he kneeled on the ground and began reading the entire first page that was covered in writing.
"They did, yet Shuzi is a smart woman... She is still even alive today, Kenki," an unknown voice can be heard behind Kenki. That made him stop what he was doing as he realized there was an unknown person who spoke to him from behind without noticing the unknown's presence.
He cleared his throat as he began to sweat profusely and felt his heart thumping. As he closes the book and touches his blade with his left hand, he gently turns around. When he turned back, he saw an unknown figure standing in the distance, menacingly glaring at him.
When he saw the unknown swordsman wearing a black hoody and a coat, his eyes widened in disbelief. He recognized that the unknown is human, yet he couldn't feel anything.
"Who in the world are you? How do you know my name, and why are you here?" Kenki asked, horrified, as he took the mask from his left waist and put it on. He also caught a glimpse of the unknown, who was wearing a new type of demon mask, making him appear more dangerous.
"Demon mask? Not bad for a Shira. Well, kid. I'm a Shadow Guard Swordsman of the heads, yet I leave them and leave them to die on their own because they deserve it. And I was the one who put that back there. If you didn't sense me your senses are quite dull and pathetic for a Shira, I suggest you start training as soon as you get done here and make that body of yours at peak level," the unknown shadow guard swordsman said, making Kenki's jaw drop.
"What in the world are you doing out here?! Don't tell me you're just passing through and now going to Ganko Village to join the general?" he questioned solemnly as his demeanor shifted. When the shadow guard swordsmen saw it, he smiled, recognizing he wasn't an average swordsman.
"Easy there, young fella, don't just jump to a conclusion, I'm here because of an order and that book, which I also just happened to find but also because of another order you found it out in the open, and yeah, call me Nurui Fakure," the unknown stated. With his right hand, he goes for his mask, removes it, and smiles brightly at him.
Suddenly, he became aware of another presence, prompting him to look to his right and notice a woman in the distance approaching him with concern. The stranger was likewise dressed in a dark cloak and a different type of demon mask.
"Don't tell me that's Shuzi. This is likely too much for me to handle. Shuzi is still alive and you are a shadow guard swordman of the past heads and the current heads. If that's so, I have questions for you both that will benefit the heads of the east," Kenki said in a serious tone, making Nurui Fakure serious and wearing his mask again.
Shuzi is the name of the unknown woman who is approaching them. She approaches them, clearing her throat and looking them in the eyes. She turned to gaze at Kenki after first looking at Nurui Fakure and seeing him nod.
"I heard what you said, and if that's the case, I'll be happy to answer your questions, and please accept my apologies for hiding myself. It couldn't be avoided, there's someone big behind them that I couldn't defeat, and not even the head of your village could do the trick, as for the Hashiras, you'll need fifteen of them, but every village has five," she said as she cleared her throat and kneeled in front of him. Kenki stood there, his face expressionless as he looked at her.
"All of this could've been avoided if you'd contacted the village head! Those deaths! Don't tell me you chose to live and leave those people to die!" Kenki yelled as Nurui glared at him, making him glance at him.
"Everything has a reason, Kenki, and she told you it already, what's not clear?" Nurui said, his gaze on Kenki, making the air around them both thick. Kenki was still perplexed about how he knew his name.
"What you said is incorrect. All of these things could not have been avoided. Because they were already planned. There are a few who betrayed us and have teamed up with the dark realm. They didn't know it, but I do, Kenki. And there's a group of these men now encouraging to join their forces to take over the entire east nation. I suggest you contact him so that it doesn't happen to his nation what happened here in the Ganko Village," Shuzi replied as she cleared her throat while lowering her head. Her eyes were dead serious.
"Fine, I see that I can trust you just by looking at your presence. There's something deeper that I don't think I have, now stand. Nurui Fakure, where are you two going? If you're both not going back to the village, then I will be coming back. I have a friend there, and it looks like I'm done here," Kenki said solemnly as he yawned and handed her the book.
He notices her sigh of relief as soon as he hands over the book. When he saw her hugging the diary book, his eyes widened. Nurui Fakure gave her a sweet grin, which made Kenki's eyes widen. Within a split second, he realized Nurui Fakure possessed a genuine kindhearted heart, which he hadn't expected from a shadow guard swordsman.
