"Let's go, girls! Our body guards are waiting in the parking lot hahahaha"
Diane called us. Lia and I are still fixing Gian, it's already late in the evening, so we have to make sure he's properly dressed to prevent him from getting cold.
Today, December 31, is a church night. We will welcome the new year together.

These three men were already waiting here in the parking lot, as Diane said they were our body guards. Diane really knows a lot when it comes in being naughty.

When I put his cap on him again, he will take it off again and hand it over to me. The third time he gave me a hat, I didn't put it on him and just put it on my leg. I heard Jake's soft laugh.

Even though we were sitting, Jake still managed to wrap one of his arms around my waist and slipped his seat just so he could rest his head on my shoulder.

The church was almost full when we arrived so we were seated in the back and could not find anywhere to sit. We just made a row and just stood while leaning against the wall of the church.

Jake is carrying Gian now with just one arm and he is holding my hand with his left hand.
From the beginning of the mass until the end, Jake did not pass Gian to me, especially when he fell asleep while carrying him. As Lia said earlier, we will return to the apartment immediately because she doesn't want to be caught by fireworks on the road, even I don't want to, especially since we have a child with us.
When we arrived at the apartment, we just prepared the food they brought, some of it was cooked by Lia and Diane, but most of it was orders from the three boys while me, I will eat what they bring, just kidding. But I don't really have anything to share.
"Can we welcome the new year on the rooftop? Pretty please?"
"Yeah! Let's go back here right after 12 midnight, so we can see the fireworks too!"
Lia and Diane came to an agreement, the two of them came closer while Dustin and Ero just shook their heads. I agreed to what Diane said, I also want to see the beautiful fireworks. It's only every new year so I don't want to waste an opportunity to see it.

They looked really cute, Gian is walking but his two hands are raised while Ero is holding him and Ero is leaning on Gian.
"You don't like uncle Ero anymore?" Jake greeted Gian. Ero tapped Jake on the back of his shoulder.
"Hahaha yes, He don't want to be with me anymore. You don't have to emphasize it, bro. It hurts!"
"Sorry hahaha it just slipped out of my mouth."
Did I mention that Jake became close to Ero and Dustin? Not yet? So, the three of them are now close. I don't know how but that's what happened, maybe because they weren't snobber so they easily became friends with each other.
It's also fun because we can have a triple date. Yehey!
"Your smile is beautiful, love. You are getting more beautiful"
Jake is also really corny, but even though it's corny to me, I'm thrilled, I'm too in love when it comes to him.
"Hahaha I know, love." That's all I said, I winked at him and he laughed.
I just put a jacket and hat on Gian before we went out and went to the rooftop. Our apartment building has six floors, so it's also nice to watch fireworks here today because we're up high and away from the smoke from the firecrackers on the road.
There are still 2 minutes before 12 midnight of new year. The space on the rooftop is spacious, we split up. Ero and Diane were near the edge of the rooftop while Lia and Dustin were on the other side of the rooftop. Jake and I are just here near the door of the rooftop.

I heard that Diane was starting to count down, you'd really think she was on a megaphone when she screamed.

That's what I heard him say before there was a loud explosion in the sky, I immediately looked up and saw the beautiful fireworks at our place.
"Happy new year!"
I thought the Philippines was suffering, why did so many people buy fireworks?

Jake is still carrying Gian and the arm that was wrapped around my waist is now holding one of Gian's hands while pointing it to the sky, I looked at Gian's reaction but he just stared at the colorful fireworks while opening his mouth a little.
He and Jake were in that position when I thought of hugging the side of his waist, Jake was surprised by what I did and he turned to me. I smiled at him and he did the same, he fixed his arm and hugged me too.
"Happy new year, baby Gian!" I tiptoed to kiss Gian on the cheek before turning to Jake.
"Happy new year, love." I said softly and like I did with Gian, I kissed him too but the difference was not on his cheek but on his lips. After I touched my lips to his, I immediately smiled and winked, making him laugh softly again.
"Happy new year, my love" He said in a serious tone while smiling, the smile that made my heart go crazy and I drowned in his gaze again before he took possession of the space between our faces.
