"Son, there's a letter from Vyvyan's teacher. Read it right away," Madam Bria said after Constance came down from the 4th floor of the mansion.

"Great!" After talking to the Constance, she also went to the 2nd floor because her room was there.

He walked towards me and sat on the couch where I was also sitting, there was a few inch distance between us because the couch was small. Why didn't he just sit on the other couch?

He looked straight at me. "Of course. I'm the father. How about you?" He wasn't sarcastic but I seemed to feel annoyed.

"Can I go? Oh, maybe it's prohibited," I said sarcastically. I was harsh to him.

"Of course, you can. Don’t act like we’re telling you not to." He took his attention away from me and started getting busy with his cellphone.

"Tse! Don't worry because I'll just watch the three of you. You, Meyra, and Magdalen will participate in the activities and games. I'll be an audience."

"Good. Maybe you can offer me a job since I won't do anything after Monday. I need to do something because it's boring to be alone here in your house. You don't need a maid here either because you already have a lot."

I just pretended that I wasn't happy with his laughter but I was really happy. That was the first time I saw him laugh like that. I thought he didn't know how to laugh because he was always serious, he just smiled when he was talking to Magdalen.

He got serious again and pretended that nothing had happened. "Why? Don't you want to be a janitress? It’s a decent job."

"Yes, we're already there that it’s a decent job but don't you feel sorry for me? Are you really going to make me a janitress? Alright, I'll be a janitress as long as my salary is one thousand pesos per day."

"One thousand pesos is just fine. Deal!"

An hour passed and I decided to go to the playroom to hopefully sleep there in the tent. They also had a playroom and it was bigger than the one in Tary's house. Meyra took Magdalen for a shopping and I was left alone. I know my daughter was just shy to refuse so she just went along. She told me about it and I agreed. I had no choice but to agree.

I slowly opened the door and immediately entered. But I didn't expect anyone to be there. I carefully stepped back but it was too late...

"Did you follow me?" he asked. I could only see his feet because he’s inside the tent.

That's where I should be sleeping.

"Come in."

I walked closer to the tent because he might think I was affected by him. I peeked at him inside. His eyes were closed as if he was really asleep.

"It's been an hour. If I had followed you I should have followed you earlier. I didn't even know you were here."

"Guilty."

I ignored what he said even though he just copied what I said earlier.

"Add some tents here. I planned to sleep inside that tent earlier."

He opened his eyes and smirked at me. "Really? Aren’t there enough rooms in this mansion?"

"Nah, that’s not what I mean. Just add some tents." The aircon in the playroom was very nice so it's nice to sleep in the tent. There were also mattresses and blankets inside.

"We can share here," he joked.

"In your dreams! No way! I might wake up–"

"Sleep well," he added but I ignored it.

I quickly walked out of the playroom and went straight to our room. I fell asleep there.

I opened my eyes and stared at the ceiling.

The night passed and it was Sunday the next day. I had the chance to go to church with Magdalen and we also ate at a simple restaurant. Then, we visited Aling Francine after. Magdalen was so happy and I was so happy too because we made the most of time when we were together.
