MARISA'S POV (Continues)
The first thought i had once i got into my room was calling Stacey, I dialed her number and she picked up at the second dial
"Hey girl, what's popping" She asked lively
"Oh hi Stacey, what is popping is you snitching on me"
"What!! I don't snitch on you, who told you that?" She asked surprised
"Maybe you should ask Grey" I suggested
"Grey? Why him"
"Yeah call him and ask him, you told him about what happened between Tyler & I right?"
"Oh I remember now, I'm sorry though, i didn't mean to"
"But you did and now he's asking me out again, I was kinda avoiding him"
"But you already got a boyfriend, why then is he asking you out?" She said and i heard her huffed, so I let the question slide purposely
"I'll get back to you, I need to freshen up" I excused myself
Why did she sound annoyed, if there's anyone to get upset, it should be me.
The day went by fast, in no time we were set for dinner
The next day, Tuesday came like a flash with the usual normal routine, school, Stacey suddenly showing up some attitude which I don't know why, Evie middle school project presentation and yeah also, Grey picked me up today as well and also offered to frop me off at school tomorrow, since he's heading same direction, he has really been sweet lately but as for Tyler, still the same
"Marisa" Mum called from the sitting room downstairs
"Coming Mum" I said rushing down while tyeing my hair in a messy bun.
Surprisedly I woke up late today and from what I heard, I think Grey's already here waiting
"Sorry i kept you waiting, i slept late last night" I apologized to Grey once I got down
"Nah, no problem" He said with no sign of anger
"Morning Mum, Morning Dad, let's go Grey" I greeted amd tried rushing off
"Aren't you forgetting something?" Mum said from the dining, immediately I saw her there I remembered that I haven't taken breakfast yet, but that would obviously make Grey wait too long
"I'll get something on my way, bye"I dragged Grey and hurried out before she begins her sermon on 'breakfast is the most important meal of the day'
"Do I look okay?" I asked Grey immediately we got into his car, but he kept staring lost at me so i understood that he didn't get what I meant
"Like my outfit" I further explained
"Oh yeah, is there a day you don't look fabulous?"
"Oh stop with the flattering Grey, I do look off some days "
"Well that's what you think, but that's no where true" He flattered again
"Awwww thanks" my cheeks were a bit pinkish from blushing
"You're always beautiful Mari, you should know that" Grey said again
We were already at the school parking lot, Grey came closer to my face, and before I could protest, he gave me a peck on my cheeks
This feels odd but I let him, it's just a friendly peck right? There's no harm in it
"Have a nice day at school okay, I'll be here once you're done"
"You know you don't really need to keep doing this right?"
"Doing . . .?"He asked confused
"Dropping and picking me up from school"
"I'm not complaining, am I "
"But you . . . " He cut me off and spoke
"Shhh, you're getting late, get going" I got down from his car and for some reason, I sighed Stacey at the front of the school building, it seemed like she made a huff and went in, I'm still wondering what her problem is
We'll be having gym first before any class, so i had to change into my gym clothes.
Once I was done with that, on my way out, I bumped into Tyler
"Sorry" I quickly apologized and was about going before anything could happen . . . but, he had to call
"Marisa"
"Yeah" I said amd turned around slowly
"What's going on between us?, why are we on this break?"
"Cause your difficult Ty, you're so difficult that you can't even listen to my apologies and I'm sick and tired of that"
"Whose the blonde guy you keep hanging around with?"
"Which blonde . . . oh, that's non of your business Tyler" I walked out of his face once I told him that and I heard him groaned on my way out
"Pick up the pace guys, run, run, run" Our gym coach voice roared around the field, today instead of using the gym, we used the football players field, which was big enough for our activities for today.
We were to do different sport activities like relay,dodge ball, high jump etc
TYLER'S POV
Mind my own business, she say? I really should mind my business?, seriously, she's my girlfriend for crying out loud.
Well we're in a huddle right now but that doesn't mean she's not still my girlfriend and I have every right to ask who the hell she's hanging out with
"Ouch!!!" I whined cause the ball hit the back of my head, I totally forgot we were playing dodge ball
"Jackson, put your head in the game" coach voice sounded from his stand and i tried focusing on the bam but failed miserably
"Tyler" Someone called running from behind, it was Jayden
"Hey bro, how're you doing" I asked him cause it's been a while i saw him
"That question I to be directed to you"
"What do you mean by that" I asked surprised
"Okay the news about you and your girlfriend's all over the school, what's her name again, Marisa"
"And what news Is that" i was already getting pissed
"About you guys breakup"
"WHAT! who's spreading such rumors? We just have a little misunderstanding which we're tryna settle, but all of you mother fucker snitches, that can't nind their goddam business would turn the whole story around" I said visibly angry
"Chill down bro, I didn't say it remember, I just heard it from someone and I came to check up no you if your'e ok"
"Well doctor Jayden . . ." I stated sarcastically
"I don't need your check up, better stick your mouth to your own business and focus on your game against the Eagles on Friday" I seethe, just immediately coach Alex walked I
"Is there any problem here?" He asked
"No coach, I was just on my way out" Jayden said, and stared at me before walking out, leaving us both there
"You know you could always come to me if you have an problem" I heard the coach say beside me
"There's no problem coach, I'm just tired, I need to go" I said and left him there alone.
I just hate today, what's up with everyone and their pretence of care, speaking of which, I haven't seen Fred anywhere today, not like I care but he's still my best friend and I need to forgive him, I have taken this grudge far enough
"Tyler, Tyler" Zoi waved while coming into my direction
"Speak of the devil" I grumbled as she came closer
"Tyler dear, you're not looking alright, is there any problem?"
"What is it Zoi, I have no business with you, so stop blocking my path" I said totally ignoring her question
"Oh come on Ty, if it's cause of what transpired between us on Saturday, then I came to apologize, I'm soooory, there I've said It "
"Get the fuck outta my sight, I don't need your fucked up apology you slut, there're many other guys to fuck if you want" I said and walked out leaving her shocked self there.
