FIVE YEARS AFTER
MARISA'S POV
For the past five years now, we've been peddling our boat really well but as we all know, things don't really come that easy so for that fact they've always been one mishap or the other but that doesn't stop things from being great
Evie is in her final grade in high school, surprisingly she didn't enroll in Bayside like I and Parker, she had her choice.
Parker on the other hand is now in his third year in college and I graduated last year from college, now managing a company which was given to Dad by the government (Dad's a well know personality in the governmental organization)
Taylor owns her bakery company with the help of Connor, who as well assist her in managing it, and they've been doing well so far, so is Freddy, Olivia, Stacey and Grey
But what still cracks me up a bit is the fact that I once had a crush on Freddy and Grey on the other hand, tried so many times to win me over.
Zoi on her own part came back to California since she left after highschool, I don't know for sure where she enrolled for college but she's back and she's now the new CEO of Beauty and Elegance, her mums fashion line which is not really making much sales as it was when her mum was handling it, I'm guessing maybe it's depression but there've been rumors around that she's dating Kevin, the Kevin from Hilton high, oh well.
Well I and my sweetie story, though I wouldn't really call it a story cause it's not, rather it's what we've become through the years.
During our college years, he do combine his modeling with school work which ate a whole lot of our time and the worst case being distance, abd and we've practically gotten into series of quarrels and fights but we'll silent. work things out at the end of everything and get back together, I guess that's how relationship works.
Later on, after college he took over few of his dads companies. Right now he's taking me on a date, but it's not that much of a date cause we're just going to have a little picnic (FYI, i forced it outta his mouth,he didn't want to say where we were going ).
The drive was awfully silent which made me wonder what was going on through his mind, when we got there, we met a beautiful place set for us in an open field, diffrent kinds of flowers were decorared around it, it was really beautiful to behold.
We talkedd about a lot of things, played a bit with our food, ate dessert and all after everything I was full so i tried to lay down and rest a bit while admiring the beautiful stars that kept twinkling, minutes later I saw something like fireworks up in the sky, but the most surprising thing was that it wasn't just any firework, this one spelled something "WILL YOU MARRY ME" I was a bit confused though but as soon as I turned to where Tyler sat and saw him with a knee bent, I immediately understood what was about to happen
"Marisa Anderson, for the past five years we've been through a lot, both thick amd thin but you've showed me that at the end,we'll definitely overcome any situation so i wanna ask you today, would you be my forever?" Tyler asked while he opened up a beautiful diamond ring
"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, yes I would marry you" i said with all the excitement in me and he slide the ring into my fingers, got up and gave me a heart warming kiss.
We were already deep into the kiss but got distracted when I heard applaud coming from different directions. I then broke the kiss and saw everyone gathered around clapping, my parents, Tyler's Mom (I'm guessing his Dad couldn't make it), Evie, Parker, Freddy, Olivia, My bestie Taylor, Connor, Stacey, Emily, and other few of my friends
'They all came' I thought within me
"Oh my goodness babe, everyone's here thank you so much, this is the most beautiful proposal ever"
"Anything for the most awesome girl in the whole world" he said sliding his hands around my waist which made everyone cooed and awwwn
"Thanks babe, you mean a whole lot to me" I said and engulfed him in a hug like my life depended on it.
From that moment onwards, I realized that we shouldn't expect much from life, we should take whatever it gives us and be happy with those around us, cause they're the ones that would always stick by your side just like Tyler and I,and I figured that with Tyler by my side, I don't really have much to worry about.
