MARISA'S POV (continues)
I was determined that I was gonna talk to Stacey today about her recent behavior, I just hope she shows up in school today, cause she've missed the past two days.
Luckily for me I saw her approaching her locker from the main school entrance, I proceeded forward to say hi
"Hey Stace" I greeted which made her turn around cause she had her face turned towards her locker
"Hi Marisa . . ." She said and paused for a bit
"I wanted . . ."
"Can we . . ." We both said at the same time
"Okay, you go first" She insisted and gave a little smile
"I just wanted us to talk about why you've been off lately, I don't know what might have been the reason but I wanna help, and if it's me, you have the permission to smack me" I concluded but was surprised on seeing a smile on her face
"Oh Marisa" She pulled me into a surprising hug
"Okay what the hell is this about?" I asked confused
" I should never had been angry at you, you're my bestfriend what was I thinking"
"Been angry at me, for what exactly?"
"I saw you and Grey kissing at the party on Saturday and I had a whole lotta thoughts running inside of me, but he cleared it up, he came around yesterday and told me everything, it was a wrong move for me loving him, he said we should just stay as friends"
"OMG Stacey I didn't know you had a thing for Grey, I swear I wouldn't have hung around him the way I did and I really shouldn't have gotten engrossed in the kiss, who knows you two could still start up something" I said feeling bad for her, she really have been through a lot
"No, there's no need for that, he told me himself that he doesn't feel the same way I do, so how could it work" She said feeling a bit down
"Who said it can't work, nothing is impossible girl, yeah he said you guys should just be friends so what, that dosen't mean something can't magically start up along the way, since you guys are already friends and would hang out more often from now on, he might end up falling for you along the line, and besides your feelings for him are still present right?"
"Yeah, a little bit, but i'm finding it difficult to get rid of them"
"That's a sign, that the both of you could start uo something, personally I'm rooting for you girl, it's just left for you to take the bull by it's horn"
"Was that suppose to be a pep talk or an advice?" She asked
"Whichever one you want it to be" I said with a little laugh
"Come on, we're already running late" I pulled her to the direction of our classroom
TAYLOR'S POV
"Hey Bes, let's go somewhere" I said and pulled Marisa along
"Whoa, chill down a sec, where's more important to go now than the cafeteria, the bell just went and we need to go to the cafeteria, speaking of which, where's Stacey" she asked looking slightly around
"Marisa trust me on this, you won't regret it just follow me then afterwards you can decide if you wanna go to the cafeteria or not " I said displaying a visible smirk
"Of cause i would, and why's there a smirk on your lips? Let's just get going to wherever you said"
"You'll see" I whispered inwardly and we headed out
"Tay what are we doing in front of the auditorium?"
"You'll see, just come in 10 seconds after I walk in " I said and walked in
"Taylor seriously, I . . . "
"Surprise " we yelled and popped the confetti as soon as she walked in, she stood there in awe, jaws apart just as Tyler did simultaneously through the auditorium Back door
"Guys what's all this?" Type asked perplexed while Marisa still had her palms covering her mouth from squealing
"We put together a little something to celebrate you guys return, from you know your breakup and all the brawls you guys had"
I answered Tylers question while pulling Marisa to a side hug
"Bro we did something nice for you guys, you should say thank you" Freddy said a bit corkily and we all bursted out laughing
"Stacey you knew about this?" Marisa asked with a smudge voice
"Seriously I didn't, not until 30 minutes ago that is" Stacey answered
"awww you guys" Marisa said and spread out her arms for a group hug which we gave her and everyone disengaged from the hug but Tyler pulled her to himself and gave her a heart warming kiss
"Ok, you guys should find a room, you're corrupting my innocent eyes" Olivia voices out which made everyone laugh
"First of all, we're already in a room and secondly your eyes are no where innocent, There're seen everything needed to be seen under Freddys . . ."
"Ok Ok, i think we get it" Olivia interrupted her by placing her palm across Marisa's mouth to cover it against saying what she was about saying
"Ok, so after all that commotion, i think now's the right time to announce that I got accepted into Stanford"
"What!!" everyone has a shocked expression on Tyler's revelation
"Oh Ty, I'm so happy for you, but why didn't you tell me" Marisa questioned
""Well I just found out last night"
"That means i won't see you on campus" Freddy said but Tyler kept a confused look, so Freddy clarified
"I got into NYU "
"Babe you got into NYU? That's like 15min to Juilliard" Olivia said
"You applied for Juilliard?" Freddy question came afterwards
"Actually i applied for NYU and Juilliard but i got accepted into Juilliard, we could still make it work" she said optimistically
"Totally" Freddy agreed as well
"Wait hold up, Olivia when did you start taking theater art class, cause I'm sure you know Juilliard is an art school right" Connor asked beside me
"I sure know that, and yeah I love acting, I'm part of the theater club, have you been accepted yourself " Olivia directed to Connor
"Nope, not yet, I applied for Princeton and OSU at Columbus but my letters haven't arrived yet"
"At Ohio?"I asked this time around
"Yeah" He answered
"That would be perfect if I get accepted into the University of Cincinnati, Ohio" I replied afterwards
"You applied there? What about UC Berkeley?" Marisa question came in
'"I did as well, same goes with NYU, but the University of Cincinnati offers great culinary courses and i would love to further my culinary skills, so yea" I answered
"Well i applied for UC Berkeley, Stanford and SCSU but i haven't gotten any reply from them, it's still on hold" Marisa revealed
"I would love I of you get accepted into SCSU, cause i got in there so we would spend more time together" Stacey told Marisa
"Really? Wow that's great, do you know who's also in SCSU?" She directed her question to Stacey who didn't give a reply, so she continued
"Grey Rodriguez, so i won't be there on you would be spending your time with" Marisa said and sent a wink which I have no idea what It meant
"Dream on Stacey, there's no way she's going to SCSU, she would get into Stanford rather, but if peradventure you get into UC Berkeley, we would just be 45 minutes apart" Tyler said acting all possessive
"Chill dude, I don't wanna steal her from you, seems like we're the only singles In the group right now" Stacey said referring to Jace and Ryan
"Says who?" Ryan asked which made everyone confused for a sec
"Dude, you finally got a girl?" Connor asked surprised
"Not a girl, a guy" Jace answered instead and he held both their arms up, to show their locked arms
""Whoa, you guys are ..."
"Didn't see this coming"
"Really a shocker"
"When did you two start?" Comment kept flying everywhere
"How would we've seen it coming, when we were too focused on ourselves and our problems to see their beautiful relationship forming " Marisa voiced out and smiled towards Jace who returned it as well
"Our school is 4 hours and some minutes drive, but we would still make it work" Ryan said again
"Where were you accepted?" Freddy asked
"I got into Boston, I would like to pursue my medical career and Ryan here got into Princeton he's gonna major in Engineering and architectural design" Jace answered for Ryan as well
"That's reala great course, mine's Accounting and finance" Freddy said
"I applied for business administration" Tyler said also
"And I would be studying English" Stacey voiced out
"I went for Marketing" Connor said
"And I, last but not the least, applied for Communication and Media studies" Marisa finally said
"Wait, hold up everyone, so non of us are gonna attend the same college and attend the same lecture, we're not gonna see ourselves in college?" Olivia asked
"Of cause we would, but that would be during the festive seasons like thanksgiving, Christmas or the spring holidays" I answered
