STACY'S POV
"You came on a short notice, what can I offer you?" I politely asked
"Oh I didn't actually come for that, so I'll ..." I cut him mid sentence
"Grey don't say that, you came to my house for the first time and I shouldn't offer you anything? What sorta host would I look like" I questioned
"OK fine, if it pleases you, you can get me a pineapple drink"
"Sure thing, be right back" I said and dashed into the kitchen to get the drink while wondering what he planned on talking about

"Okay Stacey I came for something important, something that had been bothering you for some time now" Grey mutterd, I wonder what the hell he was talking about
"Grey what do you mean?" I asked in awe
"Well I was told something by a certain birdie, you have a feeling that can't be reciprocated, a feeling that would lead you to nowhere and you're not even sure if the person feels the same way as you do ..." I cut him off before he could finish
"Wait a sec, where are you heading at and if I'm getting this clearly, you're talking about someone, are you talking about me?" I asked and stared at him suddenly, with the way he looked I got my answer
"Who told you all of this" I asked lowly
"That doesn't matter right ..." He was saying but I cut him off again
"There's only one person I told about my feelings, which is Taylor, why does she have to be a snitch" I asked furiously to no one in particular
"Stacey she's just tryna help, you needed someone to talk to, I mean you couldn't hide your feelings for so long and remain in the dark" I didn't mutter a word and my silence gave him the go ahead to continue
"I know I had a thing for Marisa, but that's all in the past now, I've come to realize that love and lust are both four letterd words, both with one syllable and so similar, yet so different, i tried pushing all emotions I had for her to the back of my mind but on thing with that was that it kept coming back in thousand folds" He continued again
"I tried to ignore the feelings I had for her but it became harder each passing day but right now I'm working harder on that and it's beginning to work, i mean she already has a guy and I'm her friend, so I don't wanna ruin our friendship cause of my lust I had for her that I thought was love" He concluded and took a deep breath that he seemed to have held for a long time, but i don't think he was done cause he stared at me again
"Stacey understand why I'm saying all this, love isn't just a feeling, it's a decision that goes with the heart and you don't need to focus your attention on one person, sometimes try looking around and I might not be the guy for you cause I don't feel same way as you do and a relationship can't work with one sided love, Stacey you're a beautiful, sweet and smart girl, trust me you're gonna find your match soon but that's not me, you don't need to worry about your present state now, put it behind you and focus on what the future holds okay, you're gonna do great"
Grey finally concluded and for the first time, I viewed it from his angle, what i had for him was just lust cause you can't love someone and the person keeps going for someone else, he's really a good friend for advising me in this manner cause if its some few other guys, they'll use the information which they were presented with to their advantage, and at the end, they'll rub it at your face and even make jest of you for having feelings for them, which you'll end up getting hurt from and if possible not fully recovering from it
Grey stared at me once he was done with his drink as I kept processing the advice he just laid out
"Ok urrmmm, i think it's time for me to take my leave" He said and stood up from his seat, I immediately walked towards his and gave him a heart warming hug which took him off by surprise
"What was that for?" He questioned as I released him from my surprise hug
"For being a great friend, and for making me realize that you're not worth dating" I said and folded my arms with a smirk
"What!!! I never said anything like that" He defended
"Well, that was clearly what you meant and you can't rephrase that" The smirk was still present on my face
"You must be crazy Stacey"He said playfully
"Well I guess you've never seen the crazy side of Stacey Evan before huh?" I stated, chasing him immediately after saying that
We moved from the sitting room towards the dining and from there, to the balcony
"Ok Stacey, please stop" He said while painting, trying to catch his breath, alongside laughing
"I haven't had that much fun for quite some time now" I said also trying to catch my breath
"You need to loosen up a bit with things, hang out more with friends" Grey said
"Sure, you're gonna be my hangout buddy right?" I asked and expected an immediate answer
"Urrmmm" He hummed
"Pretty please, with a cherry on top" I tried making a puppy face
"Fine, I would, just stop whatever thing you're doing with your face" he said and kept a disgusted face
"You mean my puppy face? It always works" I complimented myself
"Please don't do that again, you look like an ape"
"WHAT!!! So you're comparing me to an ape? do I look like one?" I asked feigning tears
"No that's not what I meant, what ..." He paniced a bit
"Got you" I burst out, interrupting his panic state and burst out laughing
"You're so unbelievable" he rolled his eyes on me which made my laughter increase.
