They trio left the witches house and continue their journey, this time to Terrick's pack. Terrick decided to run in his wolf form so he shifted to his wolf and Annex place Epie behind him. The little girl was thrilled to ride on a Wolf's back.
She rap her hands round his chest and her legs around HHS waist and rested her head on his back. When Annex shifted, they ran in the woods. They ran with speed but Terrick was careful so Epie doesn't fall of his back.
They ran for hours and through out their run, Epie was screaming, not of fright but of joy. When they finally get to the pack house it was already nightfall. Terrick sat with his butt so Epie will go down with ease from his back. They little girl shouted with joy "yay again again' she giggles. 
Her act made Terrick smile with delight. Since as it was nightfall, everyone had gone to bed. Terrick took her in and gave her his bed to sleep on. They are many rooms in the house but he doesn't want to let her out of his sight. 
This made Annex to wonder what will happen when Terrick finally sees his mate. He doesn't know about what Selene said about Terrick's mate. The alpha hadn't have time to tell Jim about it so he is clueless.
After Epie took her bath and ate dinner, Terrick layed her on his bed and slept on the couch in his room. The bed was so big and soft and if anyone enters the room, they wouldn't see Epie on the bed. She had sinked in the bed. The little girl slept without a Care in the world. Ever since her parents died and there was no one to look after her, she has been sleeping on benches in the park and at times on grasses.                                ..................................................
Epie slept and only woke up when the sun was up. She enjoyed her sleep. I mean who wouldn't?
When she woke up there was no body in the room with her. She step down from the bed and went outside of the room. She walk around looking for Terrick, a guard called her "hey", she smiled and walk up to him
Elijah was standing at his normal position guarding the corridor when he cut the scent of a human. He turn and saw a human child walking around the pack house and wonder why and how she got here. " hey" he called her the little girl turn around and saw him. She smiled at him before walking up to him.
" good morning" she greeted "am looking for my friends Terrick and Annex" she continued. The guard look at her with disbelief, how could a human child get here and call their aloha and beta her friends.
What if she was sent by those dark witches to come spy on us? The guard thought. I should take her to the Luna, this girl is a spy. He answered his own question in his head.
The guard grab her hand roughly and this cause the child to flinch because of the way he grab her and hiss with pain because of the pressure he is putting on her hand. His hold on her was rough and strong and it hurt her. Wolf have super strength and if they are not careful enough with things they might break them.
He drag her to the Luna. On his way to her room he met with Jeffrey the chief guard. He guess that he could smell her scent because of the way his brows were twisted in confusion and question when he saw her.
" who is she? How did the human get in the pack house? Hoe did she survive the forest?" He asked Elijah the moment he was close of enough.
Elijah let go of Epie's hand and push her towards Jeffrey. The girl fell down and began crying calling out to Terrick and Annex. She look at her hand that the guard held earlier and saw the red bruises on it.
Jeffrey pick her up and set her on her feet, she had bruise her knee when she fell down. " I think she is a spy sent by the black witches to spy on us. That is the only logical explanation I can bring up" Elijah explain. "Hum" Jeffrey hummed. 
" who are you" he ask her 
" am Epie" she answered in between her sobs. The guard and Jeffrey didn't bother to comfort her.
" how did you get her?" He ask again.
" through the woods. I came with my friends Terrick and Annex" 
" what are you......"
"What is going on here"  Jeffery's questions were interrupted by Terrick.
Terrick had some early and went out of his room to go meet Annex so they could discuss on whether to take Epie with them to human realm or let her stay with their people. They finally concluded to take her with them. They were going to Terrick's room to see if she is up, on their way there they pick up her scent with that of Jeffrey and Elijah.
He added his footsteps taking huge steps. He got there and saw Epie and the guards, they were interrogating her. He couldn't see her face because she was backing him. "What is going on here?" He ask them.
Epie saw turn around and saw both her friends and ran up them. She hug Terrick who pick her up. This caught the guards by surprise. 
Terrick saw her tears and began go worry about her. He could smell the faint scent of blood coming from her. He set her on her feet and inspected her. "Why are you crying? Where are you hurt?" He ask her.  Epie pointed at Elijah and said " he hurt me" and this made the Wolf's heart to skip a bit out of fright.
" he held my hands too tight and bruise them, he pushed me to the floor and I bruise my knees. It hurts" she reported. " i didn't do anything to him, I just ask him where you and Annex are but he didn't answer me, instead he hurt me. His mean I don't like him" she complain. 
" WHO ASK YOU TO TOUCH HER?" Terrick roared feeling very angry with his guards for touching his little found friend.
They drop down on their knees at ones and ask for forgiveness. "Alpha we are sorry we didn't know she was with you. We though she was a spy sent by the black witches to spy on us" they said in unison.
Terrick understood their reasons and let them go with a warning. His an alpha and ho doesn't have to act with his heart but his head.
