The next day, Terrick took Epie to school while Annex want to the office. There were pressing matters which needed his attention that's why he didn't go with them, plus he can't stand the eyes of girls looking at him and drooling over him. He has a mate which he knows he shall find soon.
Terrick's car pull over at the school packing space and he step down with Epie. There were a few gasp heard from around them as parents who were the to drop their kids at school couldn't help but gawk at the demigod Terrick who is here with his kid. 'Oh my it's Terrick Clarkson. His so cute' the by passers murmured.
Terrick carried Epie since her steps were too slow. Not that he hates the attention he gets but because he doesn't want Epie to feel uncomfortable with the stares.
Miss Abigail a teacher and headmistress of the school couldn't help but try her luck with the man. I mean his cute and super rich. She walk up to them with a smile on her lips which Terrick knew quite well what the smile is for, he has seen that almost all the time. Almost? No. All the time.
" ah hello Mr. Clarkson, am so honored to have you in our school. Are here to drop this cutey?" She ask touching Epie's cheek which she turn her head not liming her cheeks being touched.
" are you new cause I don't think I have seen you before?" She ask seeing as she has never seen this girl here before.
" uh huh. Terry said I'll start school today"
" but it's the middle of the school year, you can't possibly get in"
" we can arrange that right" this time Terrick is the one who spoke. " let get to the headmistress's office first" he continued
" well am the headmistress. My name is Miss Abigail Valentina, come this way let's get to my office and talk" she said. They walk to her office, she offered them a sit and gave the child cookies and a glass of juice.
" so I was saying that it's not possible for her to get admission now." She continued.
" but we can make it work, you are the headmistress which means you can make it happen. Plus wouldn't want her to go back home feeling all disappointed and dejected? She wants to go to school and you are depriving her from doing so" Terrick pull the emotional card on the human which always works. Epie finalizes it with wetting her eyelashes with tears and making the puppy dog eyes.
Miss Abigail couldn't say no to that so she admitted the girl in to the school. Terrick paid her school fees and bought everything she would need for school. They were about to leave when Abigail spoke " ihmm Mr. Clarkson do you mind if we go out on Friday night? Am free on Friday" she ask swirling her hair and moving her eyelashes up and down, acting all coy.
Terrick was about talk when Epie bit him to it " his not free on Fridays or any other day. His got a company to run during the day with Annex and me to handle at night. Am a handful. Right Terry?" She asked. The alpha just nodded loving the fact that his got a little overly protective bodyguard.
Miss Abigail just smiled all awkwardly because of the retort she got from the little girl. It feels so embarrassing......

With that said and done, Terrick left the headmistress's office with Epie. When they reach his car he bend down to the girl's height and said " nice job in there princess. I don't have to worry about those ladies when I have you as my bodyguard." Epie smiled before saying " yes i am your bodyguard and no one comes close to you unless I say so" she stated proudly.
"I'll only led your gf come close to you. But..." She trails of.
 " but what?"
" but I'll only led the one I choose for you come close to you."
The alpha laughed. They got in the car and drove off to the company, were Annex is waiting for them impatiently. When they got into Terrick's office, Annex was there reading a news paper. " Terrick see this" the beta said the moment the alpha entered his office. 
It was a newspaper with headlines THE BUSINESS TYCOON TERRICK CLARKSON WAS SEEN WITH A CHILD YESTERDAY. WHAT RELATIONSHIP DO THEY HAVE?
 "Terrick it says here that Epie is your daughter. They claim you had a secret relationship with a lady and Epie is the product of that so called affaire." The alpha acted like it meant nothing, he just stared at his beta blankly.
Meanwhile Annex was taking it serious and seeing Terrick's reaction made him sigh in frustration. " Terrick this news will ruin your reputation and that of the company. The board members are really angry and are requesting for you to fix this" after all what Annex said Terrick still took it lightly.
The beta just sigh and sat on his chair while puffing air out of his mouth in frustration. Epie who heard everything and understood some went to the beta who was sitting dejectedly and said " it's okay if you don't want me here Annex, I'll go back. I don't want Terrick's company to fall because of me. I'll go don't worry" she said with a sad tone.
" oh no honey I don't want you to go. Am not angry at you, am angry at Terrick his making me stress a lot" Annex said before picking the girl up settling her on his lab.
" let them talk, it's all they do. And as for the board, they will calm down. The news will go away when something more interesting pops up" the Alpha said. Be just said it to make his beta relax. He doesn't really Care about what this human say or think. Epie is his little angel and nothing will change that. He has enough money to last him for a life time, I mean he has been working for one hundred and fifty years now. And he careless if the board withdraw from the company and they can never Vote him out. They don't have the heart, they have chicken hearts

A lady who saw Terrick picked Epie from the park that morning happen to see the news on the newspaper and plans to use it in her favor. I mean it's not everyday you get such an opportunity. 
She is going to make sure that the people pity her and plus the business is going to want to safe his reputation. She forgets that Terrick Clarkson I a ruthless man who has no pity, at least that's what he shows them. And plus his not like every business man, his a big bad wolf.
