After what happen in the morning, the news about Terrick changed from bad to good. Normally people see him as a ruthless and aggressive kind of person but now they see him as a good person who took in a street child as Hus own and is making life good for the child.
The news is all about Terrick Clarkson and the sweet little girl Epie who acts like him though they are not blood related. Inside The alpha's office were he is seated with his beta and Epie. They are doing some paper work, well Annex is doing it while Terrick is playing with Epie.

A girl is sighted airing out the laundry she just hand washed when all of a sudden a bucket of ice cold water is pour on her. Startled with what happen she trips and fall with her butt hitting the hard ground floor. Raising her head up she sees it's her aunt Velma.
" how long will it take you to wash this cloths and air them out? You lazy thing. I bet your mother didn't teach you anything.... Look at me when am talking to you" she shouted. Taunting is what she does best both her and her husband Frederick.
The girl whose name is Catrina couldn't raise her head up to look at her aunt or anyone else apart from her her only friend Rudolf. She never had the courage look at someone in the eyes. She kept her head down not able to raise it up and this only infuriate her aunt more. She pushed her and bounce on her beating her and throwing curses on her. Insulting her dead parents. When she was satisfied with the piece of art she had made on her body which consist of bruises and pain and tears from the girl she stopped and went inside the house.
Life was not always this horrible for her. She one's leaved life like a princess, with her mother and father who treated her like a rear gem. They would always try to please her and make sure she was okay and not angry. But as life had it her parents died in a plane crash when she was ten and she was left with her uncle Frederick who use to be so nice to her when her parents were alive both him and his wife Velma.
Even after her parents death they were still nice. Well that was because of the child service that were always around and their family lawyer who wanted to make sure she was in good hands before signing them up as her guardians. She realized that when they began torturing her and beating her for the slightest mistake. They took all her inheritance which was left behind by her parents. They gave her nothing but pain. For a girl who has never worked before now she can say she is good at house chores as she is the one doing every single chore in the house.
Standing up from the ground she entered the house and went to her room which looks like a doll house In terms of size. A bed which can contain herself alone, a small table for study's. At least she goes to school. Her Waldrop which consist of rags, and her petit bathroom.
She strip herself from her wet cloths and enter the bathroom and took a proper bath. Leaving the bathroom with a towel around her chest she enters her room and change. She join the housemate in cooking lunch. Melissa the house help smiled at her before continuing with what she was doing.
They finish making lunch at set the table. Catrina went back to the kitchen to do the dishes while Melissa went to call the owner of the house to come and have their lunch. Catrina stood behind them waiting for them to finish their lunch of course with her head down..
Frederick and Velma didn't even bother to invite her to sit down, they continue with their lunch only the both of them since their she devil is absent. She went to her friend's house. She ate after they were done eating. She finished her remaining chores and when it was six in the evening she went to her room to study for her maths test.
Around four in the morning she woke up and did her chores. She clean the already clean floor, prepared Shekina's bath. Shekina is the she devil by the way. After making sure it was warm she woke her up from her beauty sleep.
She join Melissa in making breakfast and when everything was done she took her bath and went to school on foot and without eating breakfast. while princess Shekina entered the car that her parents own which they bought using Catrina's inheritance. Along the way, her friend Rudolf who chooses to walk with every morning rather than using his father's car.
" good morning Cat" Rudolf greeted.
" morning Dolf" her voice so soft and gentle but too low for the human ears but surprisingly Rudolf always hear what she is saying.
They continue to talk on their way to school. When they got to school, a black sports car pull over and out came Shekina. Sge join her three friends Rebecca, Sonia and Glenys. They gave each other a kiss on the cheeks without touching their cheeks.
Having friends and a boyfriend is what Catrina wants but she can not have. At least she has Rudolf who was willing to be her friend even even though people call her a freak. She enter the class and sat on her sit which was the Backbench with her Rudolf by her side of course.
She could hear the whispers coming from her classmate, they would look at her and whisper then laugh. Of course people will laugh at her, she comes to school with the same pair of sandals and with and oversized shirt and jeans. Her hair looks rough. Once Rudolf bought her a pair of sandals and some cloths to wear, that day her uncle beat her up calking her a loose child with no morals. She can remember that day very well
Flashback
Catrina just received a shopping bag from Rudolf and was happily entering the house when all of a sudden the bag was drag from her hand by her aunt. She open them and look at the things inside " where did you get the money to buy this things" she ask seizing her up and down.
" Ru... Ru....Rudolf bought them mam" she stuttered.
" what did you say? Speak louder you stupid girl" she said to her
" I said it was Rudolf who bought them" she said a little louder her words still low but her aunt could grasp what she said. Holding the bag up and looking at the content one more time she yell her husbands name " Frederick come down" and in a space of one minutes she was surrounded by her aunt, her uncle and cousin.
" her boyfriend bought this for her" her aunt said looking at her with a smirk on her face.
" You have a boyfriend huh?... You have the heart to bring what your boyfriend bought for you to my house you whore" Frederick ask going close to her. Shaking her head vigorously in denial while stepping back, tears pouring down her eyes.
" dad this is not the only thing she does, she use to snick out at night to go meet her boyfriend and not just one. In school she has like five boyfriends, I caught her one's kissing at the back of our class". Shekina lied.
Catrina look at her with a shock expression and more tears pour down her face. " so this is what you do... You loose girl? After all what I do for you, you still go out with boys? Do you want to bring shame to my family? I don't blame you, I blame your worthless parents who didn't install you with good morals" and after saying that he pull her close to him and beat her up mercilessly. Slapping and punching her, he kick her on her belly and this caused her to spit out blood. But that didn't stop him, he beat her more and more and when she was too weak to cry he stopped. Taking the bag from his wife's hand, he tore the dresses inside with the sandals. " next time I hear such complains from you am going to take you out of school" after saying that he left and soon after his wife and child followed him leaving Catrina on her own.

Only the thought of that day made her wince in pain. Not too long after the maths teacher entered and gave her test.
