"How was yesterday? How is Dicky?" Viona asked some of her friends who came to Dicky's house. 
"He said he'll start going back the day after tomorrow, he can walk but his hands and feet are still bandaged." One of them said. 
"His house is far away, huh? What time did you guys get home yesterday?" Viona added. 
"We just got home near sunset, crazy, his house is so far away, public transportation is also difficult there, in the end we walked together until we found a minibus. 
"It's a shame you didn't come yesterday, the area around his house is still beautiful, the river there is still clear, if only we had gone faster it would have been fun playing in the river. BTW yesterday Dewa seemed really close to Hilda, I don't know since when they started getting close. You know Hilda is a 1D kid, but as far as I know she's still dating Rudi, a 2F kid," Mega said, making Viona's face suddenly turn pale. 
After Mega left, Viona chose to sit in her chair many times the girl was seen breathing heavily and massaging her head which suddenly became dizzy. 
"Yesterday it was Alya then Salsa now Hilda tomorrow whose name will be associated with Dewa." Viona said monologuing in her heart.
Viona went through the first, second, and third periods with mixed feelings. Mega's words still rang in her ears and really disturbed her heart. Moreover, since morning she had not seen Dewa at all, usually every time Dewa changed classes he never failed to pass in front of Viona's class. But this time was very different. 
Viona kept glancing at the window, where she always saw Dewa passing by and smiling at her. But today she had not seen the guy at all. 
"Enough... Why do you keep looking at the window?" Alya's words surprised Viona who was caught off guard like someone who was looking for something. 
"Are you waiting for Dewa to pass by? You've been a girl for too long, don't act too hard to please" Alya added again which made Viona's chest suddenly rumble. 
"What do you mean?" Viona asked who was a little tickled to hear Alya's story. 
"Dewa has tried so hard to get close to you but you seem to want to be chased by him all the time. He approaches you and distances himself, now when he's not looking for you, he wants to get close to you... You just run away. Guys get tired too, Viona." Alya said
Alya's words just now made Viona's head hurt even more, her chest felt tighter and her heart became even more chaotic. The girl tried with all her might to calm her mind and strengthen her heart. If it was meant to be, it wouldn't go anywhere, after all this was just puppy love between students in white and blue uniforms.
"Dewa isn't coming today, Sar?" Viona asked Sari when they met during break time.
"If you don't come, who do I see now? Dewa's twin?" Sari said, slightly lifting her chin, pointing at Dewa who was sitting with his friends. 
"Hey, you didn't come to Dicky's house yesterday? It's a shame, yesterday should have been an opportunity for you and Dewa to get closer." Sari added, who had asked for permission to not come to school yesterday because she was sick. 
"Well, that's it, I had some urgent business yesterday. Even though I also wanted to go to Dicky's house so I could spend more time and get closer to Dewa." Sari's words made Viona feel regretful again, why was the selection schedule suddenly changed when if it was according to the schedule, she would have been able to go to Dicky's house and maybe right now she and Dewa are already a couple and are sitting together in front of the class.

The bell rang twice, indicating that the break time was over, all students returned to their respective classes. This was the first break, so no one could make an excuse for being late to class because they were performing prayers. 
"Good morning everyone, today there will be a math test, the names that are called please come forward and do the questions that I mention. For those who can't do them, please stand in front." Mrs. Rumi's voice was heard clearly all the way to the back seats, making the whole class suddenly panic because they had to come forward one by one without any preparation.
Mrs. Rumi began to call the students' names one by one and told them to come forward. Some of them succeeded but not a few also failed. Luckily Viona got a question that was not much different from the question her friend had worked on before so the girl was able to complete the task by following and copying the formula that had been written by her friend. 
"For those who have been able to do the questions I gave earlier, I congratulate you, for those who haven't, you can stop by the photocopy shop and ask for a photocopy of the questions that I left there earlier. Please do all the questions there and collect them tomorrow," said Mrs. Rumi before stepping out of the classroom. 
Hari, who served as my class president, immediately counted how many of his friends had failed the exam this time before going to get the questions at the photocopy shop. 
Once the photocopies of the questions had been received and distributed, all the students were seen breathing heavily, not a few complained because there were about a hundred story questions that they had to work on and they had to be collected tomorrow. 
"What kind of devil is this teacher giving this much homework? Does he think our job is only to do his assignments?" Andrew grumbled. 
"Do you want to do it today?" Andrew asked Viona who was also looking at the photocopy of the questions. Because Viona was the place where they cheated to do the assignments and the girl usually did it directly at school after the assignments were distributed. 
"I didn't do the assignment, I passed the exam earlier." Viona shook her head and smiled because she was free from doing the hundred assignments.
"Then who will we copy if the diligent ones don't do this assignment?" Andrew added again, accompanied by nods from several people, making Viona giggle at the confused faces of her friends. 
"Do it yourself.. Maybe it's time to try to understand the formula now." Viona said while still laughing. 
"Help me, at least ten questions... So that when I collect it tomorrow, the paper won't be blank, do you want it..." Andrew and Ronal coaxed with pleading faces. 
Viona raised her eyebrows slightly to think. 
"I want it... Later, I'll send my greetings to Dewa," Andrew said, raising and lowering his eyebrows teasingly at Viona. 
"Hhhmmm... Okay." Viona said, finally giving in and then starting to take over the photocopy of the assignment. 
"Well, Dewa is passing by, Dewa.... Viona is sending her regards" Andrew shouted when he saw Dewa passing in front of Viona's class, making Viona immediately panic because without warning Andrew immediately shouted to call Dewa. 
"Come on, Andrew, don't bother him anymore, look at that face, he's already red and embarrassed, later he won't want to help me with this problem." Ronald said, still giggling. 
"Ah, no way, Viona seems happy. Right?" Andrew glanced back at Viona who only pouted her lips and then went back to being busy with the problems in front of her. 
"Guys.... Today's English class is empty, Mrs. Siti is on leave to get married. We're just told to work on the LKS" Hari shouted, who had just entered the class.
"Hooray... Siti Cengceremen didn't come" shouted all the students in the class, even some of them were seen dancing happily because they really didn't like studying with Mrs. Siti because the young teacher was very killer and rigid in teaching. 
"Well... Siti Cengceremen didn't come, can you help me work on the questions until the time is up?" Andrew said suddenly which made Viona take a deep breath then firmly reject her friend's request. 
"No way... According to the agreement, only ten questions" Viona refused, who finally handed the paper to Andrew then started working on her English assignment. 
For a moment Viona's mind drifted back to Mega and Alya's words, plus today Dewa came and the guy was nowhere to be seen approaching Viona's class. "Is it true that Dewa is now close to Hilda?" She thought. 
When she got home from school Viona told Gita everything, starting from Mega who said that during the trip to Dickky's house, Dewa seemed very close to Hilda plus earlier Alya also said that he was playing hard to get. 
"What's the best thing to do? Should I just tell Dewa that I actually like him too?" Viona said softly, a hint of desperation in her voice. 
"Just say it, maybe Dewa is afraid you'll reject him that's why he hasn't made any moves, you're studying more at school than hanging out."

"Get rid of that prestige if you don't want to regret it." Gita looked very annoyed when she saw Viona who was still thinking about prestige in this era of emancipation.
