"Dicky and Dewa were reportedly in an accident, huh?" Viona asked Gita and Sari when they met at the Khayangan intersection to wait for the bus that would take them to school.
"Well, that's what I heard. Yesterday, Dicky passed in front of my house, showing off his motorbike recklessly. It seemed like he was on purpose, calling out to me and then honking at me for a long time." Sari snapped, full of enthusiasm.
"So how is Dewa now?" Viona looked at Sari with curiosity, ignoring Sari's previous story about Dicky who had shown off to Sari.
"We haven't met, it happened around dusk, right? I heard that Dicky's condition is the worst, it seems Dewa is okay because this morning my mother stopped by Aunt Asih's shop, no one talked about it." Sari replied again, she didn't know how worried Viona was about Dewa, but the girl chose to keep it to herself.
"Yes, last night Dicky also said that his teeth were broken." Viona muttered softly but Sari and Gita could still hear her.
"Dicky called last night, why didn't you just ask Dewa how he was? He's like that, he's too proud, he's just afraid, he's just worried, there's no need to be embarrassed." Gita chattered, annoyed by Viona's behavior.
When they arrived at school, the news about Dicky's accident had already spread. No one knew who started announcing it, but when Viona arrived at school, several people were seen starting to set up charity boxes asking for donations to visit Dicky. Among the many people, Dewa was also seen walking around.
"If it's already this big, how do I hide it from Nila?" Viona said in a monologue in her heart.
"Vio..." Dewa called, then the man walked over to Viona who was also looking at him from afar. "We're raising funds to visit Dicky, do you want to donate?" Dewa asked when they were standing very close.
"Are you sincere?" Dewa asked again after receiving the money handed over by Viona.
"Yes, I am sincere, how about you? They said that yesterday Dicky rode with you three, is there any injury?" Viona finally dared to ask Dewa directly.
"No, just a little scratched hand." Dewa said while raising his right hand.
"Does it hurt?" This time the girl could no longer hide her worry when she saw the scar on Dewa's hand. Although actually the wound was not too big, just like a scratch.
"It only stings a little, are you worried?" Dewa took the time to tease Viona who looked very worried. Making Viona's two eyes immediately widen and her face turn red with embarrassment. Dewa smiled when he saw the girl in front of him acting awkward.
"Thank you." Dewa added again then passed in front of Viona to go around asking for donations from his other friends.
"Don't keep staring, it won't go away, Dewa." Suddenly Andrew was behind her making Viona pout her lips because she was caught staring at Dewa. However, Andrew's focus immediately shifted when he saw Nila entering the school gate.
"Nila..., have you heard anything?" Andrew asked when they were close.
"Yes," Nila answered calmly and still smiling.
"We plan to visit Dicky but maybe not today. Let's make sure of Dicky's condition first and no one knows where Dicky's house is, right?" Andrew and several people who approached Nila explained.
"Let me know later if you want to visit Dicky." Nila replied quickly before entering the classroom which coincided with the bell ringing.
Coincidentally today was the schedule for the homeroom teacher and BK (guidance and counseling) teacher to come in. Until it became an opportunity for them to report about Dicky's accident to Mr. Hasan, the teacher assigned to be the homeroom teacher in class 1C.
"Until now, the school has not received any news from Dicky's parents, so we have not been able to decide when to visit him." Said Mr. Hasan after hearing the story from his students about the accident that befell one of his students.
Later, when we have received news and know where his home address is, we will discuss again when and who will go. " He added before deciding to leave the classroom.
"So what happened yesterday?" Alya asked Andrew who was sitting in front of her, while Viona also listened.
"Yes, yesterday they were all gathered at Dewa's house, in the afternoon they started riding their motorbikes around, the initial plan was just to go around Viona's complex but I don't know why they ended up on the street, instead the kid just learned how to ride a motorbike, that was the first time he rode a motorbike on the highway and he immediately took three people on a motorbike." Andrew said.
"Going around my house? What for?" Viona asked with a frown.
"Oh, this kid is asking again, Dewa wants to see you, even if it's just a glance, even if you don't greet him, the important thing is that he can see you even if it's only from afar." This time Andrew was also annoyed with Viona who always acted very indifferent and pretended not to know.
"Don't regret it later Viona..." Andrew added again which made Viona immediately silent.
Andrew's words. Of course, this made Viona feel disturbed. It could be that everyone saw Viona as being too arrogant because of Dewa's treatment of her and this made Dewa also gradually become fed up with Viona's attitude which seemed to be playing hard to get.
