A short while later, the plane landed in a bustling southern coastal city. Trần Ngọc Linh called for a car and headed straight to the home of the psychic, Nguyễn Hương Trà. To avoid putting unnecessary pressure on the psychic, Trần Ngọc Linh instructed the bodyguards to remain hidden. Then, he and Hoàng Hải Vân stood at the gate and rang the doorbell. The house was a small yet charming cottage situated in the middle of a vast piece of land, surrounded by a fish pond and lush gardens. It was an ideal place for retirement. After about five minutes, someone finally opened the door. Nguyễn Hương Trà was already famous from television, so Hoàng Hải Vân recognized her instantly and greeted her politely: "Hello, ma’am." Meanwhile, Trần Ngọc Linh—still in Hoàng Hải Vân’s body—remained silent, making her feel incredibly awkward. Even though she wasn’t particularly social, she had always maintained proper manners. Feeling embarrassed, she quickly reached over and placed a hand on Trần Ngọc Linh’s shoulder, signaling him to bow. He caught on and offered a slight nod along with a smile. The psychic observed the two visitors—one man and one woman, both strikingly attractive—standing at her gate. She was momentarily stunned by their appearance before finally inviting them inside. Once inside, Trần Ngọc Linh and Hoàng Hải Vân took in their surroundings while Nguyễn Hương Trà went to prepare tea for her guests. Having reached an advanced age, Nguyễn Hương Trà had retired from her work. It was unusual for two young people to visit her out of the blue, making her quite curious. As she poured tea and handed it to them, she asked: "What brings you two here?" Taking the teacup, Trần Ngọc Linh got straight to the point: "You’re famous for your psychic abilities. Do you know of any way for a soul to return to its original body?" The moment Trần Ngọc Linh touched the teacup, the psychic’s hand trembled violently as if she had been electrocuted, causing the teacup to slip from her grasp and shatter on the floor. All three of them froze, a cold sweat breaking out on their skin. Unable to believe what had just happened, Nguyễn Hương Trà poured another cup of tea and handed it to Trần Ngọc Linh once more. To her shock, the same thing happened—the teacup slipped and shattered upon contact. With a serious expression, she finally spoke: "Young lady, there’s something very unusual about you." Trần Ngọc Linh, still in Hoàng Hải Vân’s body, pressed further: "What do you mean?" The psychic explained: "The reason I can locate the dead is that their souls are no longer in their bodies. They emit a strong electrical energy. Whenever I get close to them, my hands shake like this. Don’t tell me that you…?" Mid-sentence, she shook her head, dismissing her own thought. "No, that can’t be. If that were the case, I would have sensed the energy just by standing near you. But with you, it only happens upon contact."
At this moment, Hoàng Hải Vân quickly spoke up: "So, can you tell us if there's a way to bring a soul back to its original body? Someone in my family has been in a coma for years without waking up, and we really want to find a way to bring their soul back." The psychic looked at the two of them for a moment, seeming to have a good impression of them, and then said: "I can see that both of you have a strong spiritual affinity. Coincidentally, I don’t have any students yet. I might as well take you two in as my apprentices." She paused for a moment before continuing: "There are many different schools of spiritual practice. Some people are born with special abilities, some acquire them through training, and others gain them unexpectedly due to an accident. Those with spiritual abilities can open the Yin-Yang Eye, though the abilities vary from person to person. I haven’t unlocked the Yin-Yang Eye myself, but I have psychic abilities due to electrical impulses." Hoàng Hải Vân and Trần Ngọc Linh listened intently, barely daring to breathe. The psychic continued: "Those who have opened the Yin-Yang Eye possess different abilities—some can see a person's lifespan, some can access other people's memories, and some have a very powerful ability: the ability to see spirits." Hoàng Hải Vân was startled. Seeing a person’s lifespan—Thu Thảo could do that. Accessing memories—she had once read Nguyễn Thế Anh’s memories. But as for seeing spirits, she didn’t know anyone who possessed that ability. The psychic calmly continued: "If you want to help a soul return to the body of someone in a coma, you need to find someone with this ability. But as for finding someone who can truly see spirits, I don’t personally know anyone." She paused briefly before adding, "Perhaps you two could develop this ability yourselves." Hoàng Hải Vân's eyes widened in surprise. "We… we can?" The psychic nodded. "There is an electrical aura surrounding you. And you're both still alive. Do you frequently work with dead bodies?" Hoàng Hải Vân quickly nodded. "Yes, that's right." The psychic continued, "That explains why your electrical aura is so strong. You have the potential to open the Yin-Yang Eye. However, I can’t say for sure what kind of ability you might unlock. As far as I know, each person can only awaken one specific ability." So, was it easier to find someone with this power or to unlock it themselves? Either way, after speaking with the psychic, Hoàng Hải Vân felt as though she had glimpsed a faint light at the end of the tunnel. She and Trần Ngọc Linh thanked the psychic and took their leave.
