DIVA'S POV I sighed as I walked to the botanical lab, I'll be finishing up my test today and it's a practical one. I came earlier than the speculated time on purpose, I need to ascertain that my specimens are okay just as I left them and haven't been tampered with. Over the previous week someone has been tampering with my specimens obviously wanting me to fail but so far whoever it was haven't been successful, cause I'm hardly taken unawares, I always have a backup plan. Each time we were to undergo any practical examinations, I always have double of my specimens especially of plants and flowers base on my own reasons which I usually leave in the care of Mr Andre. Right now there's a lot on my mind, we'll be moving into Lisa's duplex today, I saw the photos Lia took and I love it. The girls were through with their tests so it was just me today, after this plb 211 practical test, we'll move. Things were going fine with us all so far there's haven't been any problem, my relationship with Dan was moving smoothly, Lia and Jay are good too. Tania doesn't wanna date anyone for now, I think she's just waiting for her Mr Right. Lia's birthday is coming very soon, next week to be precise. Jay also have a musical concert coming up at the end of the month at the sacramento musical conference. DSD is going smoothly although we've only managed to practice twice the previous weeks because we've been busy with our academics. Very soon we'll be participating in another dance competition, which we've to come out best like we always have. Alexis is doing fine too, she's a very smart kid so it was very easy for her to adjust to her new class and her societal status, she learns very fast so it's been extremely easy. Each time Hanna sees me at school, she never fails to appreciate me all over again. Jade? I haven't seen him since that day, he only sent me a long apologetic text message two days after, he needs a break. As for Jasmine, we've been able to help her a little although more help is coming from us. I feel so sorry for her, her mom's diagnosed with kidney problems and she's been critically ill and at a hospital in Ethiopia. Jasmine was studying here through scholarship, she's a very brilliant student though. Her family weren't wealthy but they were comfortable until her mom's illness. According to her, she's the first out of four siblings, aside from taking care of her mom, she also takes care of her family through the part time jobs she always takes up after every lecture day, since her father's business wasn't stable. I feel so bad for her, she sometimes works at the general cafeteria as a waitress. We'll do all we have to do to help her and she'll be fine. I stepped into the lab only to be confronted by a Coursemate, there were few people in the lab already. "Hey Danielle, good morning. You have to come quickly, I think someone tampered with your specimen again." "What?!" I quickly followed her to the section I arranged my specimens and she was right, it's been tampered with. I breathe in heavily. "Erica please how much time do we have before the practical?" I asked looking at her. She glanced at her wrist watch quickly. "Thirty minutes Danielle." She said with a bit of uncertainty in her voice. "Don't worry, I've got this covered." I smirked and brought out my phone. I might have an idea of who the culprit is, but I just want to ignore, I don't have time for her childish jokes. "How come you don't seem worried? How are you gonna manage with this? But who's doing this?" Erica asked rhetorically, her eyes squinted in worry. I smiled at her and quickly sent a message to Mr Andre. *I'm sorry to bother you Sir, but please I need your help once again. I think someone's messing with me. That lotus plant I left with you last week I urgently need it now, send one of your boys to bring it to me in ten minutes at the botanical laboratory. Thanks so much Sir* "It's done." I smiled. "Huh?" Erica asked puzzled. I chuckled and looked around, that's when I caught her staring at me, I smirked and she quickly looked away. I didn't notice she was in already. I looked back to Erica. "I've got it covered alright? Let's sit down." I said dragging her to some nearby lab stools. We sat down and I counted the time as I await Mr Andre's assistant. Ten minutes later, I received a message that he was waiting for me outside the lab. I smiled and walked out, there he was. "Oh Nathan, thanks so much dear." I said receiving the plant from him. He smiled, he was a teenager of about 14. "You're welcome Miss Danielle, I'm always glad to help you because you're extremely kind." He said and I smiled. "Thanks Nathan, tell Mr Andre I really appreciate. I'll go in now." I ruffled his strawberry hair. "Alright bye Miss." He waved with a smile. He didn't know I had stylishly dipped some cash into the baggy pocket of his big coat, if he did it would be very hard convincing him to accept it. I smiled and walked in. "Oh my goodness. You... You are really full of surprises. You are never taken unawares." Erica gushed. I chuckled and sat down, I looked around and caught her again. There's a pained expression on her face, I smirked and gave her a warning glare. She gulped and looked away immediately. If she continues to pull stunts like this, I might have no choice than to retaliate in the most painful manner ever and she knows she won't be lucky. Minutes later, the lecturer came in as all the students were in already. We began the tests and from the corner of my eyes, I could see she wasn't concentrating. Her grades would definitely go lower than ever before if she continues like that. * * * * * I walked out into the hallway with Erica. "Goodbye Danielle, see you later." She said heading the other way. "Yeah goodbye Erica." I turned and walked down the hallway but I was stopped by someone. "Penny, how may I help you?" I asked as I stared at her. She fiddled with her fingers. "I came...I came to apologise for all the wrongs I've done against you. I'm really sorry." She said lowly. "You're kidding me right? Were you sent by that stupid friend of yours? If so, you know better than to mess with me." I said scrutinizing her. "No... No, please we aren't friends anymore," I raised a brow. "...yeah, she's getting out of hand and she's ruining my reputation along side hers. I broke up friendship with her, and I really wanna say I'm sorry." She said. That's actually true, Penny is no ordinary student, not everyone knows that though. "Look here Penelope, I have no issues with you. Yeah, you haven't done anything to provoke me before, unlike your friends. I understand you were just moving with the wrong crowd so let it slide. It's fine really." I said with a small smile. I was stunned when she hugged me instantly. "Thanks so much, thanks really. I feel less guilty now." She said happily and released me. Just in that moment I saw Lucia at the other side of the hallway staring at us. Penny saw her too and rolled her eyes away. "Goodbye Elle, thanks again." She smiled at me and walked away. Lucia's eyes trailed after her. They must be really fighting. "Got something to say Lucia?" I asked with a smirk, walking closer to her. She sneered and eyed me contemptuously. "Are you done with your immature child play? You think you can bring down my grades huh? You must have forgotten we ain't in the same level." She looked away in defeat. "Just so you know, no matter what you do, Dan will still be mine. His father betrothed us together and everyone knows that Mr Roberts doesn't go back on his words. So enjoy the brief happiness you think you are having with Daniel Roberts, I'll make sure you get the wedding invitation on that day." She spat. "Really?" I scoffed. "We'll see about that Luciana. We'll definitely see about that." I clicked my tongue in mockery and walked away. "I'll definitely get Daniel. It's very certain, you just watch and see." She shouted after me. I scoffed ignoring her instead. Dan already promised me, he won't let his father or anyone come between us. I know he won't, you just wait Lucia. Just wait and see, I'll be the one sending her the invitation card, not the other way around. I heaved in as I walked away. ELIZABETH SCOTT I stared at my beautiful daughter's twitter uploads as tears ran down my cheeks. I'd just returned from Australia few hours ago, I had gone to see my younger sister and her family. When I returned, I heard about my daughter's dance group adding two more members and that she's dating Edward's only son. I had to see for myself, my daughter finally in a relationship one that's obviously filled with love and laughter, I can't help but be happy about it. Unlike most kids her age when growing up, my beautiful Diva decided just like her momma did, never to date just anyone, until she finally meets her Soulmate. Diva followed my footsteps, like a true daughter would do. She's a very blessed child and looking at the photos, I could tell she was extremely happy and that's all that matters to me, I only wished her sister never died. That would have been the perfection and completion to her already happy life. Even though Diva acts tough and strong outside, she's a baby within and she's very emotional. To this day, I really wished I was able to grant her request of having a sibling, the one she was really prepared for didn't stay. The main reason for my tears is the love I see radiating from her to the young beautiful and very talented kid who she's helped a lot. That's how Ariel would've probably looked like, beautiful, talented and intelligent looking, if she had stayed, this photos would've been she and Diva, playing in the snow, having pizzas together, play games, dance and do all the crazy things siblings do. Diva would've showered her with so much love, I just wished my baby didn't leave. Just seeing how she loves this child_who I'll very much love to meet, makes me happy. It's been quite a week since we last communicated, I should call her. I took the glass of water from the nearby stool and took a sip. I wiped my tears neatly to avoid making her worry since I'll be doing a video call and she's very sensitive when it comes to emotions. I brought the laptop a bit closer and folded my legs on the King sized bed in my room, and then I placed the call. It connected sooner than I expected. "Good evening momma." She shrieked with a beautiful smile on, I could see she was outside with several people, and cars parked around. It was like they were moving or something. "My darling, how have you been dear?" I asked with a smile. "I've been good, I've met him Momma you heard right? DSD also have two new members, Kim Lisa; you should know her, she's a model and single dancer and the second is the young beautiful kid, momma she's so beautiful and talented. I love her a lot. I see myself attached to her in a way I've never imagined." She said in clear excitement. I smiled. "Congratulations my darling, you left the world of the singles finally, Congratulations on your new members too." "Thanks momma," "Where are you? Is someone moving out?" I asked as I saw from behind her loads being dropped in a car boot. "Ah, yes. The girls and I are moving out of the dormitory into an off campus duplex, you know Lisa is now part of our dance group and since she left South Korea just to Join us, we have to live with her to ease her loneliness and we'll be able to practice more like a team. She's here right now with the idols I know you know them." She turned her phone so I was able to see the tall beautiful Asian-America, daughter to Rayner Walker. She was leaning by a car talking with three guys, the idols as they were called. I know the blonde haired guy is her brother, the other is the son of King Steven of England. I used to know his mom, we attended the same high school, now she's the Queen of England, God is great. And finally, there goes my daughter's boyfriend, he's handsome much more than the rest of them. I attended the same University with his dad, though he was my senior then. "Momma you're seeing them all right?" Diva's voice said from the background. "Yes my darling, I see Daniel Roberts over there too, he's very good looking you've got pretty eyes my darling." The camera returned to her crimson face. I chuckled. "Awwnnn she's blushing." "Momma!" She used a hand to cover her face. I laughed. "I should introduce you guys," before I could say anything, she was already calling him. "Dan! Dan over here quickly please." I saw him walk over to her from behind. "Babe I'm here, are you okay?" He asked as he kissed her cheeks, he isn't aware that she's on a call. "I want you to meet my mom," she said indicating her phone, that was when he noticed. His face went crimson and I chuckled softly, he's sure gonna take good care of her. "Hi...hi Mom, good evening Mom," he stuttered. I smiled as he whispered to Diva although I heard. "You didn't say on time, she probably saw me kissing your cheeks and..." I laughed out heartily, interrupting him. He is very funny. "I heard you, you should relax dear. She's my daughter, I have to tell you, you are very lucky. Please take care of her, never let her down, promise me you'll never break her heart." "Momma..." "Promise me Daniel, that my daughter won't have any reason to regret being with you." I continued ignoring her protest. "I promise you Mom, I promise I'll never do anything to hurt her. Diva and I connected way back to when we were kids even though she's yet to remember, I never knew I'll meet her again and now that I did," Is that so? "...I promise I'll never let her out of my sight again. I promise you Mom, I'll take care of her always." He said with all seriousness. "That's very good son," I smiled at him. "Thanks so much mom, I won't let you down." He said smiling happily like he just got the highest approval in the world for something extremely priceless. Of course, my daughter is very unique and she's special. Anyone that's with her should be happy. "I see where your daughter got her enchanting beauty, she looks just like you." He said and I couldn't help but feel proud knowing that. "Hahaha," I laughed "thanks so much Daniel. You're a nice gentleman I see." I said with a smile. "Thanks Mom. I'll go now." He said. "Okay dear, do take care." He smiled and walked away. He's got his dad's exact smile although he looks like his mom. "He's good for you." I smiled at my daughter. "Thanks Mom," she smiled. "The little one, Is...is she here?" I asked curiously. "Oh Alexis, she isn't here Mom. She's probably still in school." "Oh is that," I sighed. I wanted to see her too. "I'll love to meet your little friend soon. Can I?" "Sure momma, you'll love her I promise. She's enthusiastic, intelligent, talented and very smart. The girls love her already at first sight." She explained happily. "I look forward to seeing her then, I love you. I'll call you soon okay? Say me hi to the girls." "I love you too my beautiful momma, I'll send your regards, goodbye and take care." She said. I smiled and hung up. I'm glad she's happy. My loved ones happiness is my happiness. My husband is returning from his trip today. I should prepare for his coming. "Anna!" JASMINE'S POV I sighed sadly as soon as I stepped out of the dormitory and saw them getting ready to leave. I'll miss their company a lot, although I'll still be seeing them on campus. They were extremely nice, so kind and down to earth, they've helped me in so many ways, especially about my mom's health. My name is Jasmine Lukas, I am a scholarship student from Ethiopia and I'm the first child of my parents. We used to be comfortable even though we weren't wealthy, we were able to afford three square meals daily, until dad's coffee business crumbled and mom fell terrible Ill, she was diagnosed with kidney disease and dad spent the rest of his money on drugs since we couldn't afford the bills for an operation. We began to owe a lot of debts and since I was the first child, I had to take responsibilities schooling and working to make ends meet. My three other siblings were still very young, they had to stop schooling when Dad couldn't afford their fees again. It came to a difficult stage that I had to skip classes and work extra hard, I was amazed that my grades didn't go down. Despite it all I still managed to top the class at every test, assignments or examination. I'm even the course representative, you can imagine what I went through. It wasn't easy not until Cilia found me crying in my dorm room one day and made me open up to her, since then life has been easy. My dad's business was gradually coming up again, my mom would be undergoing an operation soon and my siblings have returned to school and it's all due to their help. I still work part-time at the cafeteria to care for my own bills not like they were much anyway. "Hey Jasmine, over here." Danielle shouted. I smiled and walked over to them. The idols were here with Kim Lisa. Cilia told me they were moving in with her so she won't be alone at the big house she's staying and so they could practice more as a team. I admire what she did, leaving her modeling career and the single dancing she does to join the Dazzling Stars Dancers. That takes a lot of passion and strong will to do. There was a huge crowd of students gathered around, I'm not surprised, they are celebrities afterall. It was like all the girls in the Dormitory came out and that's hugely because of the presence of the idols_the three most hottest guys in the campus and maybe in America as some will say. I'm happy about their relationship with the girls. But I'm wondering why the other guy Elle's friend didn't come, I remembered him looking all messed up that day he bumped into me. Maybe they fought. "I'm gonna miss you guys a lot." I said as I hugged her. "Thanks so much Diva, I really appreciate all you've done for me. May God continue to bless you." I said tearily. "Amen dear and bless you too, we'll miss you too but you can come visit us as much as you want. I'll send you the address as soon as we've settled." She said with a smile as we disengaged. "We've got something for you," I raised a brow. She smiled. "Girls over here please." I looked behind as Cilia and Tania placed the last of their belongings into their car trunk and slammed the door. They walked over to us beaming with smiles. "Come here girl, I'll sure miss running into your room in the morning to hear the academics latest." Cilia said and I chuckled as we hug. "I'm gonna miss your crazy and very funny attitude girl. Don't worry, I'll still be seeing you around. Thanks for all you've done for me, I know words alone can't express my gratitude." I said sincerely grateful. "Oh common Jasmine, don't be like that. Stop thanking me already, what are friends for huh?" She smiled cupping my cheeks. "Okay, I'll miss taking you round the dorm for early morning jogging," Tania said smilingly. I laughed as we hugged. True I'll miss that, I used to jog around the dorm twice in a week with the girls, all thanks to Tania. "I'll certainly miss you girls a lot." I smiled. "We will too, here's a little token of love from us." Cilia said as she took my hand and placed a gift bag in it. My jaw dropped as my eyes widened in surprise at their generosity_yet another gift. I might not know what's inside yet but I can't help but feel so thankful and indebted. "OMG! you girls are so kind, thanks so much. I really appreciate it all." I said as I threw my arms around her once again. "Okayyy...group hug it is!!" Tania and Danielle shrieked as they threw their arms around us too. I laughed out heartily. I saw Kim Lisa running towards us. "I don't know what going on here, but I definitely like group hugs." She squealed and jumped on us too. Her voice and accent is so...wow. Oh my God! Is she really this entertaining and nice.... "Okay girls, shall we." Jay shouted interrupting the moment. We laughed and broke the group hug. "I'll see you soon okay?" Lia said and I smiled at her. Danielle and Tania waved at me as they walked to their cars. "Babe?" I chuckled. That was Jay, Lia smiled and walked to him. "Who's in for a car race?" Kim Lisa shrieked as she opened her car door. "I'm in! I'm in!" Lia squealed as she hurriedly ran to her car. "Girls against boys people. Shall we?" Danielle squealed as she quickly entered her car. The boys realizing what was up quickly stepped into their cars and zoomed off amidst cheering and squealing of the students around, some even had the time to video. I laughed as I heard Lia shrieked from her car. She was the last to drive out. "That's cheating guys! Wait for me!" And off she went. I smiled and stared at the gift bag in my hand, I should go in and prepare for my cafeteria work. I turned and walked back to the dorm as the students gradually dispersed.....
