Alicia is not totally a heartless woman, though she does not have heart she still have feelings just like a normal human being. It does not mean that she don't have feelings just because she made a mistake. I knew that it was the reason why she's here with me now, to ask my absolution. Though she won't express regret in words, I can see it in her action. I can see that Alicia regretted all her mistakes to me and she want to help me in solving the problem that also came from her. It is definitely not all the people who made a mistake to you is totally wicked. They just need another chance to prove that they had regretted their mistakes and to fix what they done wrong. What you should do is to give them another chance because they deserves it.
There are just some people who won't ask pardon to others though they know that they made a mistake. These people are defending their wrong belief, such as thinking that life is just weather, that sometimes good and sometimes bad. They believe that if they hurt someone, the one who got hurt is unlucky and those who does not hurt were lucky. Those people are believing that there is a reason why they made mistakes to other. Those people are making themselves fool. They does not care if they hurt someone, the only one thing in their minds is their own interests.
"Because you already know how to perform dark magic and I don't need to bother myself to teach you anymore, maybe we can now search for the next person who was destined to fight against you," Alicia said. "Where do you think we can find them?"
"Search who?" I asked.
"Search for someone—who was destined to fight you."
"So, you are telling me that there are someone who was destined to fight me?" I queried.
"Yeah, the hundred of people that you need to kill are the hundred of people that were destined to fight you. I am telling you that amongst those six boys that you killed, one of them was destined to fight you and that's what happened."
Maybe that was the reason why I thought that Alicia had counted wrong that if I killed those six boys, there will be ninety-nine left of people that I need to kill and not ninety-six. There is just one thing that made me feel guilty. Why I killed all of those six boys if I only need to kill one among them—the one who was destined to fight me. Alicia was always making me baffled, there are many things that she hid from me. And these things will only revealed when or after the heinous crime done.
Alicia told me once that I can choose the hundred of people hat I want to kill, but she seemed to be not telling me the truths. If she can only say the exact words, I did not killed those five boys. It was my mistake too that even I heard her said the word 'ninety-nine' and I became curious of it, still, I did not asked her about the thing. It was also Alicia's mistake, because she did not tell me about it. It seemed she want me to kill everyone though they are not needed to be killed. I don't know if who to blame now, maybe I will just forget it because we both have mistakes and if we break up because of it, we cannot fix our mistakes anymore.
"Do you mean that I cannot choose the people that I want to kill?" I asked in a worried manner. I was thinking that I can choose those hundred of people that I need to kill because Alicia told me that I can choose them if I am the one who is controlling my hand. Now, it seemed that the curse is still the one that is controlling me, because I cannot choose those people that I need to kill.
"Sorry for did not telling you that the hundred of people that you need to kill are already destined to fight against you, I forgot to tell you about this thing because of our busyness in doing other things."
"If that's so... that is just okay, we can do nothing about that. We had started this thing, so we must finish it. Now, I better prepare because I seemed to be going to fight against strong and powerful people who were destined to fight me. I need to become powerful."
"You are right, after you killed someone, your next enemy will become more stronger than the first one. Definitely practicing magics and power can help you and your mission to become easier."
Maybe it is one of the reason that I cannot see or the power of sight won't show me the people that were destined to fight me. That those people are also powerful and their power are protecting them from the my power of vision. It will became more dangerous if the people that I need to kill are not just normal human beings, that they also has magics and powers.
"Do you know who is the next person that I need to fight with? The power of my sight could not show them to me, do you have a hunch why?" I asked.
"Maybe they are protected by something. I also don't know if who they are and what kind of things they can do, if they are powerful or not. Maybe they are not just normal humans, because if they are, I already saw them just like the boy that you killed."
"What if there is a possibility that we cannot see them? What will happen to me and to the curse?" I asked.
"Assuredly, I say to you that what you are thinking is impossible, because this thing is just like an ordeal and after the first one, there will be another one to fight you. You only need to wait. If it happened that there is nobody showed up, I don't know what will happen, but there is a big possibility that the curse will control you again, because what it only wants is to kill anyone that it wants to."
"You are right, but we better search for those people than to wait here, because I also know that if the curse become bored, it will control me again."
"I have an idea if where is the next person that was destined to fight against you. Hold my hand. I will bring you there," Alicia said. I held her hand and we suddenly transported from one place to another.
There are many things that I remembered when I am not thinking about power and the people that I need to kill in order to become totally free from this curse. I remembered when I am just sitting there on the upholstered couch inside the living room of my huge mansion, going inside the library and reading novels, playing with the people around the mansion and many others. If I can survive from this ordeal, I will not dream for anything again, I will just be contented from everything that I have. Just like those other people who does not have things that I have, but though they are poor, they do not assume to have anything. They are just contented of everything that they have and of what they can get. I also want to be the same with those people, because they are not pursued by danger and they are just living a simple life.
While walking on the narrow passageway, I saw Alicia that is going towards me too. We meet in the alley. Maybe she already saw the next person that I need to fight with and to kill. I don't want to waste my time in searching around if there is nothing that will showed up. It will just make my freedom delayed.
"Oh Alicia, did you see the next person that I need to kill?"
"Don't worry about it, I already saw her," Alicia replied.
"You said the pronoun 'her,' so... do you mean that the second person that I need to kill is a girl?"
Alicia nodded and said, "Yeah, but though she is just a girl, you still need to prepare because it seemed that your weakness will attack you again."
I don't know what Alicia mean. Maybe she is talking about my sympathy to other people. This sympathy is my weakness. I knew that if I will show sympathy to other, there is also a possibility that I cannot be free from this curse forever. My freedom lies on the death of those hundred of people. If I will let my weakness attack me, I cannot gain the thing that I solely want. I shall never show my weakness to them.
"Bring me now to that girl, so that we can finish this quickly," I said.
Alicia held my hand and we suddenly transported to a playground where there is no one people, there is just green-painted benches, trees, and evergreen grasses. The place does not matter anymore, it still favored me, because if there is no people here, there is also no one who can see me while doing a crime.
"Where is the girl that I need to kill?" I asked Alicia.
"Did you see that little girl that is sitting on the swing there?"
I looked ahead and saw a little girl that is sitting on the green-painted swing. She is wearing a black shirt and pants. Her black hair is banded into two portion that is bouncing on her back as she swing. I did not expected that the second person that I need to kill is just a young girl.
"Don't my tell me that she is the girl that I need to kill," I said.
"It is unbelievable, but what you are thinking is right. She is the second person that you need to kill. That's why I told you to prepare because your weakness may attack you again."
"A little girl like her? but how can you say that she is the second person that I need to kill if it seemed that she cannot even fight me?"
"Don't underestimate that little girl, because you does not know if what are the things that she can do to you. Now, go towards her and kill her, else you cannot be free from the curse anymore."
"Yeah I knew that, but are you really sure that she is one of those people that I need to kill?" I asked again. I need to be sure about this thing, because if Alicia is not telling me the truth again, I will just waste the life of this little girl.
"Don't you trust me?" Alicia asked. "Kill her now, because she might loss in our sight and we cannot see her again, and you also cannot get rid from the curse. Don't let your weakness conquer you, put in your mind that you need kill her for your freedom." Alicia slowly pushed me towards the girl that is not looking at us.
"Can you stop pushing me? I can go to her by myself." I have no other choices anymore, but to go towards the little girl. Though she is little, I still need to be prepare because I don't know if what are the things that she can do. Maybe she is just small but terrible. She maybe powerful that we could not find her quickly. Though I need to kill this girl for my freedom, it cannot be removed from me to have a sympathy to this girl because she is so young to meet death.
I am now in her back, but it seemed that she did not noticed me. I abruptly cover her mouth for the reason that it can make her to feel difficult to breath, so that she will be die easily.
"Aaaaww!" I exclaimed. As what I am thinking, she is not just a normal girl, she have a capability to removed my left hand that is firmly grip on her mouth. She bite it, because I failed to put it rightly around her lips. I realized that she have a very sharp teeth, because her bite formed a mark on my hand. The blood that came from my hand is dripping down on the green grasses. I clenched my teeth so that I cannot feel the pain that coming from the wound on my hand. But I can feel the pain still. I removed my attention to the wound on my hand and replaced my focus and attention to the little, vampire girl.
Good to know that Alicia is to the rescue, but instead of helping me to stop the blood that is dripping down from my hand, she stopped the vampire girl that was trying to elude. I cover my hand with my shirt to make it stopped from bleeding. I never expected that there is a girl like her who have a teeth that seemed knife when stabbing my hand.
"What do you need from me? Just let me go!" the girl yelled.
Alicia is firmly holding her hand from her back. The vampire girl had a reddish eyes, high, black eyelashes, thin eyebrows, pinkish lips, high nose, white and round face with two cute dimples. She is so cute just to die, but I won't let the thing that she did to my hand to pass by. I am very mad to her, I really want detach her teeth from her mouth.
I bravely go towards the vampire girl and punched her cute face that made her head became in an opposite position. I cannot believe that I am so strong that made her face looked backward while her body is looking at me. Her neck is broken and totally turned flabby. Maybe it was because I am very angry that made every veins around my body to be aroused and became stronger.
