Alicia is a little bit choosy as she don't want me to call her by real name. She was assuming that she is too young, though she was already thousands of years. Though we are always with each other, she did not told me anything about herself and her family when she was still alive. What I only know about her is that she is a spirit or demon named Alicia who wants me to call her as Alice because she was a bit choosy.
"Let us go towards that man now and don't worry about anything because there is nothing wrong that can happen to you, that man is just a tiny ant for me," Alicia said.
We walked towards the spot where the man was standing, but he was not there anymore, maybe he went inside his small, white-painted house. The house is just small and simple, there is a wooden gate that surrounds the house, plants and animals around. This place is nice in breeding animals and that might be the work of the people here.
There is no noise that can be heard in this place, everything the silence is waited; therefore, I tried not to make any noise, so that the man cannot noticed that there is someone here. I jumped on the high wooden gate, though it was three meters high and has a pointed tips. Other people does not know that I am good in high-jumping, I had been doing it before, when I was young.
Alicia don't need to jump on the wooden gate, she just chuckled when she saw me trying hard to jump above the wooden gate with pointed tips. She just pass by on the wood, she can also teleport herself inside from outside. Now I know that performing magic and having power can help me to save myself if I am in danger and there are many things that I can do without exerting and wasting time.
We are going towards the door when it suddenly open though there is nobody there. I was surprised when there is something abruptly came out with a high-speed. It stopped by the wooden gate behind us. When I looked back, I was appalled of what I saw. I cannot believe that it was the man who was living in this house and the man who was destined to fight me. He was so speedy that I cannot even recognized when he moved by us. As what I had said, he was not a normal man that can be killed easily. We seemed to be having a long pursuing with this man.
The speedy man looked at me and asked, "Miss, what are you doing in my lawn? Don't you know that I can denounce and make you imprisoned because of what you are doing?"
This man is pretty; he had a perfect high nose, yellow-brown eyes that seemed to tell me something, I just cannot understand what it was. His curly, dark brown hairs that looked like noddles, his thick, black eyebrows lying an inch by his shining eyes, and his high eyelashes that were curled upwards. There is some hairs on his chin and cheek on the brown skin of his face. He is taller than me and even to Alicia. He was wearing a white shirt striped with black fabrics weaved in a bullion-style and green trouser. Well, his handsomeness cannot be measure through his outside appearance, but what's inside his heart.
"Hey, Are you a thief? Why you are just standing there? You will get out of my lawn or wait for me to drag you out?" The speedy man asked.
Definitely, he was just handsome, but he seemed to be snobbish. Maybe that is the reason why he neither had a girlfriend or wife. Matured girls or woman don't want to have a boyfriend or husband who have a bad demeanor. I am one of them. Those grim man can make woman's future become miserable. Well, I cannot judge this man, because everyone has their own belief and we all need to respect it.
"I am sorry sir but..." I had not finished my words when Alicia interrupted.
"Sheena! Why are you saying that? Don't tell me that you enthralled by him... He is just handsome, there are many other men out there, so don't be feel sorry to that snobbish man, kill him now and this will end..." Alice said.
"Wait!" I suddenly exclaimed. "I can kill him without haste, he's not too handsome at all," I murmured.
"Hey girl, are you a deft? Or crazy that you are talking there alone?" The speedy man irritatedly went towards me. "You are trying my patience, you really wants me to drag you out, huh?" He suddenly grab my arm. He was so strong that I felt pain just because of his firm grip on my right arm. He was going to dragged me outside his lawn when I punch him on his face with my left hand. My punch made him jolts and he lean on the wooden gate of his lawn. I never expected that he was so weak, or I was so strong that I made him shaken though he was bigger and taller than me.
"Shit! Do you really wants to fight me? What did I do to you that you enter in my lawn and dare to punch me?" he asked.
Again, I tried to give him a blow, but he defended it. He was so fast that made me surprised when he suddenly grabbed my arm, he slung me across the air with his strong arms and thrown me outside the lawn. I am definitely full of terror at that time. I am still thankful that there is not a cliff here, instead a weeds that caught me. I realized that there is nobody that I can trust who can save or catch me when I am falling, not even Alicia. I only have myself, because even the ground sometimes hurts me.
After that, the speedy man suddenly disappeared from the spot where he was. He seemed to be a lightning with his speed. Disappeared in just a wink of an eye. That speedy man might busy because he was in haste.
Alicia is still in the lawn, she seemed to be out of her mind. She even did not fight the speedy man, she was just standing there. Gazed at the green grasses below. It was confusing that she just let the man to elude, though she was not doing that thing before. She was the one who told me to kill anyone, but now it seemed that she changed.
I stood up and stretched my bones that seemed to be fractured. I got back inside the gate where Alicia was. We definitely need to pursue the speedy man in order to kill him. It was my fault that I did not totally killed him. Now I know that Alicia only want to help me, and that why she was telling me to kill that man quickly because he might elude, and it will be difficult to catch again.
I went towards Alicia and shouted on her ear for her to wake up from being dead to the world. I was not failed to woke her up, she suddenly looked at me, appalled. I don't know if what was happening to her. She might fell into the reverie and did not saw what was happening. This may become difficult for me if she will become always dead to the world, because she cannot help me when need her help. I definitely need to become powerful, so that I won't rely on this demon. I will practice more magic, so that I can be more powerful than Alicia. After that, I don't care about her anymore and I will let her do everything that she want.
"Sheena! Where is the speedy man now?" Alice asked.
"Good to know that you came back to the real world. Can I know where you had been that you were just standing there?" I asked back.
"Sorry, uh, I did not saw what was happening a while ago, there is just something that I remembered about my past. So, can you tell me what happened and where is the speedy man now?"
"He already eluded..." I sighed.
"Eluded? But why did not you stopped him? Why you let him escape?"
"What the hell! You dare to asked me that? Though it was you who don't even know the exact thing that happened. That man was so strong that he just slung me across the air and thrown away."
"So you got your lesson? That's the reason why I am telling you, that you should kill him quickly. Now look what happened, he already eluded because of your negligence."
"My negligence or your negligence? You told me that you will help me in killing that man, but what did you do? You are just standing there while my bones were broken because of your negligence."
"Sorry to hear that, but it's your negligence that your bones were broken, and did I told you that I will help you in killing that man? Have you forgotten about what we have talked about? It is your mission to kill the hundred of people that were destined to fight you and not mine."
"Okay, it was my mistake and not yours, it already happened, what we shall do is to search for the speedy man again."
"It was actually your mistake and because of your mistake we needed to search for that man again."
"I know that, but don't make me feel that it was all my mistake, because you were the root of everything. It is not just my mission, have you forgotten that this mission had came from you?"
Alicia emit a long, deep, audible breath and said, "We better not talk about these things, let us just search that man again..." She seemed to avoid us from talking about where everything started.
"Why won't you use the power of your sight to know where is that speedy man right now, so that you don't need to travel the whole world to search for him," Alice added.
"But how? Have you forgotten that the power of my vision won't show me anything about the hundred of people that I need to kill? The speedy man is also power and it's impossible that I can see him."
Now I know that the reason why the power of vision cannot show me anything about the speedy man and it was because he was so speedy. I also wants to have a power like that the speedy man have, I can move quickly if that happened, I can also join with lightnings.
"No, you are wrong, if you remembered the semblance of that man, the power of your vision won't fail to show you him."
"Are you sure that it will work?"
"Of course, just believe it and your belief will help create the fact."
"But, I tried to used it many time and I failed."
"Why won't you just try? Is there something that will gone if you try it again?"
"No, nothing." I closed my eyes and asked the power of vision to show me where the speedy man went.
"So, did you already saw him?" Alice asked.
"Can't you just wait?" I replied. Many times, I tried to asked the power of vision if where the speedy man went. I don't know why, but I failed, there is nothing that the power of vision was showing to me. It was just a void, the same with the place that I was always dreaming before. Until now, I don't have any idea about why I was always dreaming a void before. I had been thinking that it was not a normal dream because since Alicia demonstrated to me, I was repeatedly having it. Sometimes I am having the same dream, but it was not as always as before.
"There is nothing that the power of vision was showing to me, it shows everything but a void."
"Maybe you don't know how to use that power."
"If you are right, then how to use it?" I asked.
"Why won't you sketch the semblance of the speedy man in your mind, once you are sketching his semblance, you can also see his atmosphere, and even you don't know the place where he is, that is just so simple because what surrounds him will be a guide for us to trace him."
What kind of spirit is Alicia that even I would tell her that the power of vision won't show me anything, she still forcing me to do it. But I cannot blame her, because she is just trying her best to help me, and instead of blaming, I must thank her.
So I did what she told me to do, I closed my eyes, and sketch the semblance of the speedy man in my mind. Eventually, I was not failed. Alicia was right, that if I sketched the semblance of the man I can also define the atmosphere or place where he is. There is just something wrong, the power of vision cannot show me the exact place where the speedy man was. Maybe it's because he is shifting anywhere.
"So did you see the speedy man?" Alice asked.
"I can see him, but I cannot define his atmosphere, maybe it was because he's not just in one place."
"I see, but what shall we do if we cannot trace him?"
"If we cannot trace him, there is one more thing that we can do. Why you are thinking very far if the answer to the question is just by us."
"You are right, but what's the answer to the question?"
"We don't need to search for him in the far places, because not long from now, he will come back to his home."
"So, do you mean that we will wait for him to comeback here?"
"That's exactly what I mean, we will just waste our time if we search for that man in the other places, he was so quick when he moves, he will just escape from us."
"You have a point, we will just waste our time in pursuing him, it was said that 'the more you pursued something, the more it will be hard to gain,' so we better stay here and prepare for his comeback."
I had been thinking if it was true that the more I pursued something, the more it will be harder for me to gain. Sometimes I think that if I really want to have something, I pursued it and I will do anything to gain it. If I am doing anything for my pursuits, then it will be easier for me to gain it.
