There are many things that I am hiding from Cain, but I know that he needs to know. I also knew that he was hiding many things from me, just like the place where he came from. Maybe there are many wonderful things about the place, a place of powerful spirits. I also remember the empty place in my dream, but since Cain has shown himself to me again, I do not dream about those places anymore. It was just a dream and it was totally a normal dream that is sometimes shown repeatedly. I should forget those dreams because they won't help me solve my curse problem.
I believe that I can defeat them all, especially since the power of hearing is willing to help me too. Instead of fearing and worrying about the people that I might fight next, I am feeling excited about fighting again. I am excited that the power of hearing is telling me what my next move is, so that the enemy cannot hit me. It was so cool that my moves were the moves of a professional martial artist, moves that I had only seen on the television before. Now I can make my own professional moves when the power of hearing tells me what I should do next. It seems that the power of hearing does not want to do bad things, because it does not tell me how to kill the man. It was just telling me how to defend myself. So be it, the power of hearing still helped me kill the man by telling me how to punch and kick him.
"So what should we do next?" I asked Cain.
"Don't you feel tired?" he asked back.
"I am not tired, but if you are tired then you can take a rest."
"I am already a spirit and spirits do not feel tired, no matter what work they are going to do," he bragged.
"Yeah, I know that, so what should we do now?" I asked.
"Maybe you can train yourself if you are not tired. I am telling you that the person that you need to kill will just show up themselves, even if you don't search for them. That is why they are the people who want to die, because instead of searching for them, they will bring themselves to you."
"If you are telling the truth, then why did you bring me here?" I asked, curiously.
"I guessed that the first person that you needed to kill was here, and I was not wrong, so that is the reason why I brought you here, but if you want to go back, I can bring you back to your home."
"You will bring me back home after killing one man only?" It seemed that I wanted more.
"Why? Do you want more, though you do not even know how to kill that man without my help?" He asked.
"But why won't you just teach me how to kill people easily and also teach me how to perform magic?"
"Do you really want to learn magic?"
"Uh, so would you like to teach me?"
"Of course, I can teach you. Which magic do you want to know?"
"Anything, just like transporting myself from one place to another without using any transportation."
"Are you really sure that you want to know how to transport from one place to another instantaneously?" he asked again.
"Yeah, why?"
"It will take you a long time before you can teleport from one place to another. Every magic trick that you want to learn will take you a long time before you can learn it, but if you are really determined to learn it, no one can stop you."
"Shhh... no more words. Just teach me. I know that it can help me to get rid of the curse faster and to fight against the strong and powerful enemies that are waiting for me."
Suddenly, the environment had changed. It would be really cool to have the power to instantaneously transport people from one place to another. There are many places that you can go without wasting your time and money. If I learned how to do it, I would not have to walk from home to school anymore, and I'd have more time to do other things because I would not be wasting it walking down a quiet street.
"Now it is your turn. Bring yourself from one place to another," Cain said.
"But what if I could bring myself inside the active volcano?" I asked.
"That won't happen if you are focused and you know where you want to go. I am asking you now, do you really want to go inside the active volcano?"
"Of course not. I will definitely die if that happens."
"You said it, so focus on the place where you want to go and don't think about perilous places like those volcanoes, underworld, inferno, etcetera, etcetera. So that you can bring yourself back and alive," he said.
"Just stop talking because I will try my best to teleport myself from one place to another," I replied.
I closed my eyes and tried to imagine that I was flying in the air, but when I opened my eyes I was still in the same spot and Cain was just looking at me. I closed my eyes again and again, imagining that I was with my beautiful teacher, but when I opened my eyes again, I was still in the same place. Cain was just watching and chuckling at what I was doing. It was really difficult to instantaneously transport from one place to another without moving or using transportation. I seemed to be a fool in doing this. I'd better walk from one place to another while closing my eyes, so that when I open them again I can see that I was in another spot. I will become crazy about assuming things that are impossible to happen.
Cain half-shouted, "You cannot teleport towards the other spot if you are not focusing on the place where you want to go!" He went towards me and said, "Look at that spot, familiarize it, put every detail in your mind, then close your eyes and don't think or imagine anything. I assure you that you can transport yourself there from here."
After many days of practicing magic with Cain, I totally forgotten and neglected my schooling. I had not told my parents yet about it, maybe they already noticed that I am not going to school anymore, but I am always not in our house. Cain had promised me that my parents could not noticed it, but I cannot be complacent because they seemed like a camera when watching me. Schooling can wait, but the curse cannot, so I knew that I made a right choice.
The result of my training is not too bad at all, I can now teleport myself from on place to another by the help of Cain and the power of hearing. The power of hearing taught me how to focus on the thing that I want to do, because it was the thing that is needed the most in order to perform magic. If I don't have on focus and thinking about other things, it will be difficult for me to transport myself from one place to another without using any transportation. It was so cool and incredible. I am so grateful to the power of hearing, because of it, impossible things turned possible.
Good to know that the curse did not attack me again after I had killed the first man that is destined to fight with me. I knew that my freedom is not totally granted by the curse, as what Cain said to me, it will attack me gain if I missed one of the hundred people that I need to kill. I shall kill the hundred of people that I need to kill someone that the lives of that first one that I had kill won't be in vain.
"Because you already knew how to transport yourself from one place to another, I think it is time to search the next person that you need to kill, we shall not make this thing longer because we both need freedom and to have a rest from this," Cain said.
"Do you have an idea if what kind person I need to kill next?" I asked.
"I don't have an idea Haig, it is destiny who is deciding about anything, so you shall not waste the opportunity when fate is favoring to you, it can help you to gain the things that you want," he said.
"But I don't believe in destiny, because we can make our own."
"If you don't believe in destiny, your belief will definitely change, because it is destiny who will decide what will happened to you, because even you will do your best to survive, if the whole universe decided not to let you survive, then you can do nothing against it."
"You know, it was all my mistake because I made my own destiny, I decided to accept the curse from you, I decided all things without thinking what could happened next, so believe that it is me who made and will make my destiny, nobody can stop me if I want to survive because I will do everything even I can't risk your life."
"Well, everyone has their own belief and we need to respect it, there is nothing completely wrong at all because even a stopped clock is right twice a day."
"So where should we go now? If you don't have an idea, it seemed that we will just make ourselves fool to search for nothing because we don't even know what is the next person that I need to kill."
"Do not worry about it, I am so powerful to say that I don't have even a little idea about the next person that you need to kill," he bragged.
"Are you sure that you will bring me to the right place and not make me kill someone who is not really needed to kill?" I asked.
"That's what you are thinking again, I already told you to trust me as how I trust you, because I know more about this things than you."
"How can you say that you trust me is you are saying that you know more about this then me. Don't you see that it only mean one thing, that you also don't believe in my capability?"
"This conversation does not have any destination if there is no one who can condescend between us, condescend is an important thing to have a good partnership and I am hoping that we can have it too."
"Okay... I am kind, so will just let you decide about what to do because it seemed that you won't condescend to me."
I know that Cain have more knowledge when it come to this thing. He is already thousands years old, so I must respect him though he seemed not respected. He is too old and I know that he also know the best thing to do, because he have more experiences than me.
"That you for giving way to that elder one, but you are still not a respectful kind of boy, but don't who worry because I am not chiding you, I am just telling you about the things that I observed. I am telling you that respect is one of that most important thing that a man should have in order to capture woman's heart, because matured people are not just looking an outside appearance of a person."
"Thank you for your advice, sir Cain, but I am also telling you that I don't need to capture woman's heart, you had said that you believe in destiny, why won't you believe that destiny will find you the one that is definitely for you?"
"We better search for the next person that you need to kill, this conversation will just bring us to a further things and a time-cinsumed."
"You are right, but a continuous and long conversation is a good thing though it is time-consumed, because it can also bring us more knowledge about things from the point of view of each other."
"Can you just stop talking? Hold my arm and I will bring us to the other place to search for the person that was destined to fight you."
"Why I will hold your hand? I can bring myself there if I want, I don't need your help in transporting myself."
"Are you sure? You don't need my help though you don't know where we are going?"
I am going to say a word when he said farewell. He suddenly disappeared from my the spot where he was standing. I don't know if where he went. Maybe he became angry because of what I said. did I bragged to much? It does not matter anymore. If Cain is thinking that I cannot know if where he went, then he is wrong. The power of hearing told me about the place where he went, so it was not difficult for me to go there too. I also knew that Cain will not touch the person that I need to kill, because they are destined to fight me and not to him. Maybe it will be better if I go back to home to check my parents and I will let Cain to search for that person, he will just show me if he already saw the person that I need to kill.
