Meanwhile, Sae walked out of the cake shop with quick steps, her heart pounding. She read the message on her cell phone once more, and the tension on her face grew even more. “Violet,” she muttered under her breath, trying to ease the anxiety surging inside her. Sae could feel her anxiety rising from within her as she read the message from Violet. An uneasy feeling crept into her mind, making her feel even more wedged into a complicated situation. Nonetheless, he tried to calm himself down by reminding himself that he should stay and face the matter head on. However, as he began to walk away from the cake shop, Ririka's image came back to haunt him. The argument this morning when they were hiking on the hill was still fresh in her mind. Sae felt sorry for her harsh words, but at the same time, she also felt she had the right to defend herself and refused to be a victim of a wrong relationship. She did not want to continue to be a victim of a wrong relationship. She realized that her actions were wrong and should not be justified. As she walks to her car, her mind is filled with internal conflict. He wondered if his decision to pursue his relationship with Ririka, led him down the wrong path. Were all his sacrifices worth these complicated consequences? In the midst of her confusion, her cell phone rang again. Sae hesitated to check it at first, but when she saw the sender's name, she couldn't resist opening it. “Emergency call! Please reply to this message immediately. I need your help,” Violet's message read from the message she sent to Sae. The look of tension on Sae's face grew. She felt like she was caught between a rock and a hard place. She really wanted to ignore Violet, but she couldn't just ignore the woman especially when she had sent her a message that seemed to tell her that something urgent was happening to her. Despite not wanting to, Sae still replied to the message briefly and carefully, “what's going on? I'll try to help however I can.” In her heart, Sae knew that her decision to help Violet would definitely put her at risk. She who knew the woman's temperament felt uncomfortable. But at the same time, she couldn't ignore the urgent message Violet had sent her. Finally, with a heavy heart, Sae drove her car and headed to the location mentioned by Violet. In her heart, she was both annoyed and distressed by Violet's behavior, which she considered to be a nuisance to her. Right now the only thing she was thinking about was resolving all of these issues and not wanting to get too involved with Violet again too far. *** “Is that you? Thank goodness you finally came,” Violet said happily. Instead of looking scared when she was in a difficult situation. Violet was more concerned about Sae's arrival. A frown appeared on Sae's forehead, not understanding the situation she was in. He saw Violet with a man holding a knife in his hand. “Hey crazy woman, did you call another man here to save you? Huh look at how disgusting you are.” The man, who looked like a thug, did not seem to like Sae's presence. Sae really didn't understand why she felt like she was being set up. “Violet if you can't explain your current situation. I won't hesitate to leave you,” Sae said coldly. She honestly didn't want to get involved any further. “No. Wait I'm begging you. Please save me from this strange man.” Violet ran to hug Sae's arm tightly. She even showed Sae a pitiable facial expression, and hoped that the man would melt into her. “Hey, you damn guy. I warned you that you should leave and not interfere. You know this crazy woman is already making trouble with me.” The thug-looking man again pointed his knife at Sae. “Please Sae... I'm so scared of this crazy man. He could kill me, I'm begging you... please... please save me,” Violet pleaded with endless begging. It felt like Violet was playing tricks on her. The man with the prema-like appearance quickly pulled Violet's hand away from Sae. “No, please don't! Sae... Sae... please save me!” Violet struggled to free herself from the thug-like man. She thrashed about as the thug-like man was about to take her away. “Damn it shut up you snake woman!” The man struggled to get Violet away from Sae. The situation was escalating. Sae was annoyed that she had to be caught up in what she thought was a dangerous situation. She still stood where she was, and observed the situation as calmly as possible. The man with a thug-like appearance was getting closer, threatening with the knife he held in his slightly trembling hands. It looked like the man was filled with hesitation. Although the look in his eyes filled with a sense of anger and hatred made Sae realize that she was actually in the middle of a pretty real threat. However, as the man stepped closer, Sae saw the flash of fear in Violet's eyes, and it stirred her courage. She knew she had to take action and not be so passive. “Shut up!” Sae let out a firm voice, trying to exude courage even though she honestly didn't want to get too involved. “Let her go right now!” The man gave Sae a sharp look, the knife still threatening in his hand. But, all at once, there was the sound of police sirens approaching. The man looked panicked, and without another word, he threw Violet at Sae and ran away.
