One day, when the flower shop was a little quiet, Ririka took advantage of her free time by checking social media. She was surprised to see an interesting comment about her flower shop. The comment was very positive and praised the beauty of the flowers and the friendly service provided at her shop. Ririka was happy and curious about the account owner who made the comment. She decided to check further. How kind of her to give me such a sweet compliment, Ririka thought to herself as she read the comment. Upon opening the account owner's profile, Ririka was surprised to see a photo uploaded by the account. In the photo was someone she knew very well and that person was Sae. Even though it was only from the back, Ririka knew that it was Sae. She recognized Sae's distinctive posture and style of dress. In the photo, Sae was with someone who looked very familiar to her. Ririka concluded that Sae seemed to have a new lover. However, she decided not to think about it too much. Ririka had decided to focus on her life in the present with her husband, Ness. She was well aware that her relationship with Sae had long since ended. Ririka just looked at the photo for a while, then decided to reply to the account owner's comment in a friendly manner and said that she had followed the account as a friend. After that, Ririka turned off her smartphone and busied herself with work at the store. The busyness helped Ririka take her mind off the old memories that sometimes still haunted her. Ness, who always supports and understands her feelings, is her source of strength now. *** Meanwhile, at the hospital where Sae used to work, the atmosphere is not as bright as usual. Violet, a young nurse who used to admire Sae so much, feels hopeless. Ever since Sae's departure to a small town and his rejection of Violet's feelings, the girl has been demoralized. Violet, who is already feeling disappointed, decides to resign from her job. “Violet, what are you doing? Why do you want to quit? Are you crazy? You've got a stable job and you're quitting just because you feel disappointed about your unrequited love. You know how hard it is to find a job, don't act stupid,” Mira, Violet's senior, reprimanded her in a stern but caring tone. Mira couldn't believe it when she learned that Violet was going to resign from her current job. Violet bowed her head, unable to hold back her tears. “I can't work here anymore, Sis. Every corner of this hospital reminds me of Sae. I... I don't want my feelings to keep hurting me like this.” Violet's voice trembled, lately her normally cheerful figure had turned melancholy. Mira let out a long sigh, honestly she herself also felt dizzy with the situation that was being experienced by her junior. Mira was clearly worried about Violet's unstable state. She really wanted to scold her junior, but seeing Violet crying made her undo her intention to scold and try to calm Violet down. “Violet, life goes on. You can't let one person ruin your career. I've reprimanded you many times but you just don't listen. Please use your head just a little bit and stop following your selfish heart's desires.” However, Violet stuck to her decision. “No, no, no. I've already made up my mind. I still can't continue. If I work in this place any longer, I'm sure I won't be mentally strong. This hospital will only continue to remind me of Doctor Sae's existence,” she said. “I really can't give you any more comments. Alright... alright please do what you want to do. But remember you have to accept the risk. This hospital will not accommodate a fool like you a second time. And don't let me see you protesting in front of this hospital later.” In the end, Mira herself was tired of dealing with Violet who was too stubborn and too hard to tell. *** After finishing her work, Violet walked in a hurry, she couldn't wait to pack her things. She had plans to move to another city after leaving the hospital where she was currently working. In her haste, Violet became careless and almost fell down while walking in the corridor. However, someone was quick to help her. When Violet saw who was helping her, she was surprised. “Mike? Why are you here?” Violet asked with wide eyes. Mike, the young man who helped her, smiled. “Violet, is that really you? I guess I should be grateful for meeting you here. I've just been accepted to work at this hospital. How are you?” Violet couldn't hide her surprise when she heard Mike say that to her. Mike was her junior at university. “I'm fine. Thank you for helping me earlier.” Violet suddenly felt awkward. “It's good to see you again. It's been a while since we graduated,” Mike said kindly. *** 3 days had passed and Violet was about to quit the hospital where she worked. For some reason, she was now thinking about it again. Mira, who realized that Violet was unlikely to leave the hospital where she worked. Decided to observe her junior secretly. I'm pretty sure that she's thinking about something, Mira thought as she often found Violet daydreaming again. Actually, Mira didn't want to approach Violet. But she had already passed by and saw that her junior had been daydreaming for too long. Finally, she couldn't help but reprimand her junior. “I don't think I'll see your face again anytime soon. It looks like you're still hanging around in this place. Don't you have anything to tell me?” Mira deliberately addressed Violet in a subtly sarcastic way. Violet turned to Mira. Her face looked glum like someone who had never eaten. “I doubt that's what I was thinking. Like you told me, being a job is really hard. For some reason I'm starting to feel like that's true,” she said. Hearing Violet's words, Mira was surprised. Violet was listening to her words? She could hardly believe this miracle. “You're not sick?” Mira pressed the back of her hand to Violet's forehead. “I meant what I said.” “Good. I didn't mean anything bad. I'm just a little surprised to hear your unorthodox words.” Mira hurriedly removed her hand from Violet's forehead. “What made you suddenly change your mind?” “Nothing in particular, I just thought that a good job shouldn't be wasted,” she said, getting up from her chair and walking away. Mira could only wonder at the behavior of her junior which was quite strange. Having thought about quitting her job, she suddenly decided to cancel it, and looked like she was thinking about something seriously. Mira really couldn't understand Violet's behavior.
