FREYA
"Yes, Sir. I've used to clean this house. You know, might Fernando appear in my dreams," the caretaker said laughingly. I smiled at him, but Raven didn't. Hearing that name might not be okay for him. 
I tried to get the caretaker's attention. "Mang Doning? Where is the comfort room?" I asked him. He looked at me and I noticed that he was shocked. 
"Who is she? Your girlfriend?" Mang Doning asking Raven. 
My eyes widened. I shook my head and my hand to deny Mang Doning's question,"No. I'm not. We're not a thing," I denied. But Manong Doning only smiled and looked again at Raven who was quiet the whole time. I nudged his elbow and goggled to signal Manong Doning to say 'no' at the question. He didn't bother to speak but he looked at Manong Doning. 
"Manong Doning? Is the room still clean? I need to put our belongings," Raven said and tried to change the subject which I was relieved about. 
"Ohh! Yes. Yes. Your rooms are always clean. Even for years, me and my wife always cleaned this house. If you might visit here. The house would always be clean," he answered Raven. 
Raven smiled and pat Mang Doning's shoulder, "thank you so much. I might need to go," he thought and picked my bag. 
I took a deep breath and tried to get my back but Raven stopped me. "No need. Try to ask Mang Doning where's the kitchen. If you want to eat, ask him. His wife was the best cook here," Raven advised. 
But I planned to go outside and take a look again at the beach. It was fascinating to look at it. But I'm having a concern about this place. It seems that Raven already lived here but he just abandoned it for some reason? I shook my head and tried not to meddle about that and it might trigger him. Instead, I will avoid overthinking about that and I'll enjoy this moment. 
I saw a wooden small house— like a hut made made of palm leaves. It was really suiting to stay there, a summer vibe or aesthetically pleasing to see it built near at the sea. I saw Padzul going back at the Raven's rest house. When I decided to call him. "Padzul! Where are you going!?" I shouted and smiling as I wave my hand. 
He smiled back and hand signaled me to go there at the house. I nodded when I understood what he pointed out. I look at the beach and sit here in a wooden, elongated chair. "I truly appreciate my decision to go here," I whispered. But I looked away and saw different places within this beach. 
It was a long place to see what's in there. "Maybe, I should go there? Hmmmm," I wondered and started to go outside of this hut and walked further. 
I was walking and saw two coconut trees and a cradle lodge between those trees. I smiled and ran towards it. As I sit there and swayed a little. "This is so fun," I thought. 
Maybe, I'm alone here but I'm able to have quality time for myself. I didn't bother Raven or Padzul to be here when I can enjoy all by myself. And that was a joke. "Freya!" I heard someone calling my name but I didn't bulge. 
I heard Raven's name but I decided to lie in this lodge and feel the breeze of the wind. It's not freezing at all, due to the weather, but it was refreshing. "Freya!" I heard Raven calling my name but I didn't dare to answer him. 
I let him call my name and I couldn't help but giggled. "I didn't expect to be treated like his sister. He was so protective," I thought. I tried to sway to this lodge and because of that It's getting more refreshing while I could see the mountains beneath my vision. Suddenly it stops. I looked and saw a hand stopping my lodge to sway. 
"I was looking for you," Raven said seriously. His face is a bit worried? Is this my imagination? Automatically I got up and winked at him. 
"I'm not a kid anymore, Raven. Why are you keep calling my name?" I wondered. 
"So, all this time. You hear me b-but—" he didn't finish what he said and he uttered. "Nothing," he whispered but I still hear it. 
"O . . . kay?"
"Let's go. Manong Doning's wife is here. I asked to cook for us. It's a bit late and we didn't eat lunch," Raven said and walked back to the house. I frowned looking at him behind his back.
This is so suspicious.
I followed Raven until we got back to the house and something I could smell. "This is too delicious," I thought. I was walking inside and saw an old lady in the kitchen, frying something— I smelled a fish but it was already seasoned. Garlic? Its fragrance are spreading outside and inside of this house.
"Hello," I greeted her. She looked at me and saw her with that lovely smile. 
"Oh, dear! You're here. What do you want to eat? Sorry, Young Master didn't tell us that he'll be here, that's why the food is  just simple dishes," she apologized. I shook my head. 
"No. It's okay. I love the aroma. It smells delicious," I told her. When I heard she laughed and made me laugh as well. Looking at her it melts my heart. She's like aunty but Mang Doning's Wife is way older than her. 
It reminds me how aunty prepared my meals before. Before going to school and such. But everything changes and I feel saddened about it. "What's wrong dear? Tell me you don't want fried tilapia," she said but instantly I shook my head. 
"I only remember someone . . . Manang?" I wondered and tried to know what should I address her or know her name. 
"Call me. Manang Yolly. Doning's wife," she smiled. 
"Okay. Manang Yolly. Aside from that. What else do you want to cook? I might help you to cook," I suggested but she shook her head slowly. 
"No. You don't need to. You're a guess here."
"No, Manang. I'm willing to help you. It's not a big deal cooking with you," I insisted but she refused again. 
"No, dear. Just wait on the dining table. Soon I'll prepare this for you and Young Master with his companion also," she said, which made me surrender to help her.
