Chapter 32

FREYA
There's a lot of clothes in front of me. A wardrobe that gives different colors, vibrant in every part of clothes. It has different designs and styles per color that has been hung. "Well. Here is the newest collection. For summer, we have different outfits here. Casually there's a polo, dress, or sithru. Suit yourself to choose. Also, for the lingerie, you might love these red straps inspired for a honeymoon," Kelvin suggested.
My lips are twitching at what he said. I was stunned and speechless at what he suggested. "C-can I choose a normal shirt? T-those are good . . . B-but aren't too daring to wear? " I was hesitant to reject his suggestion.
He frowned, "May I ask how old you are?".
I was startled and wondered,"I'm 24? Why?" I got curious. He clapped his hand and shouted.
"Aha! You're an adult. Yet you're not wearing something . . . Hmmm, like this?" He said and showed me a sithru dress that was really visible to see my body.
I shook my head. "No. No. I-I don't wear that kind of clothes," I said truthfully. His eyebrow rose and nodded at what he said.
"Well. If you don't want it. But I'll let it. You should try before the sun sets. Girls pack this one. No. You should wear this," he said and someone pulled me to the changing room.
"Ma'am. It was the boss' request," some employees are smiling as they give me the outfits. It was a white sithru. There are pairs of loose long-sleeved skirts along with this and white long accordion skirt. There's nothing wrong with giving it a try.
After I finished wearing these clothes. As I go out. I saw Raven was on the couch sitting along with Kelvin. "What!? Night was the—," he didn't finish what he said. When I tried to cough to get their attention.
"Ehem. K-Kelvin?" I called him. But even Raven was looking at me intensively.
This was awkward. I'm trying to pull my long-sleeves since they were falling on my shoulder. I noticed that Raven was frowning, "What did you wear to her?" His voice became cold.
I saw Kelvin was shivering in fear. "W-Well. I isn't she beautiful? Isn't she?" He uttered. But Raven didn't buy it.
"Oh. I'll try to tie my hair into a bun," I suggest to Kelvin. He was grinning, scared at what I'd said and picked my scrunchy tie. After I finished, I smiled at them.
"Is this okay?" I asked them.
But they didn't answer— unlike Kelvin did stand and clapped again his hands. "Magnificent! Indeed you're a beauty. How small you face, how pale your skin. Those eyes were actually mesmerizing. Indeed like a fine lady," Kelvin complimented. I awkwardly smiled and cupped back my falling hair to my ear.
"Kelvin! I don't want people to see her like that," Raven groaned as if he was angry.
"O-oh. It was bad? Should I change it?" I asked Raven. But he didn't answer.
"Kelvin. Finished her things. We are going home. It was late," Raven said to him but Kelvin was too busy to check on me.
"Is it comfortable for you to wear this loose, long-sleeved shirt? I'll change it," he said. I was about to answer him when I heard Raven groaned again.
"Kelvin!"
"Oh. I need to put on some shirts. It was nice dressing you. It's actually unplanned but I enjoy it," he was laughing and I smiled at what he said. "Girls. All of those shirts that I get. Give it to him," he ordered his employees and pointed Raven to give those paper bags.
"Where should we go? Aunty told us to have dinner with her," Raven told me. I nodded and followed him.
"B-but where's Padzul? I thought he was just following us," I roamed around and didn't see a trace of Padzul. It was a huge resort that people are coming into. The sun was set and it was dark all along. The lights are on and see another version, another vibe of this resort. "It was getting more refreshing," I whispered.
"Do you want to stay here? I'll call Manong Doing that we will stay here," Raven suggested. He look at me and reached for my hand.
"Stay close to me. There's a lot of people passing by. Someone might bump into you."
I didn't respond and let him. I notice while we're walking there's a group of men. Was looking in our direction. I was about to ignore it when someone was shouting. We decided to look for Padzul but he was nowhere to be found.
We stopped at a local restaurant. But Raven was uncomfortable holding the paper bags. "Freya. Stay here. I'll be back to put this on the car," Raven apart. I smiled and nodded at him.
After waiting for Raven. I heard the waves of the sea. And the breeze of the wind. "It's freezing," I thought. While I'm closing my eyes. Someone placed a tray on my table.
"Ahh. Miss I didn't order," I tried to explain and push the tray. But she shook her head.
"Yes. But someone ordered this for you."
"Who?" I curiously asked her.
She pointed to the man who was sitting along the island corner. He looked at me and toasted a glass. I looked at the crew and shook my head. "I'm sorry. I can't accept this. I'm waiting for someone," I calmly reject the offer.
"Miss. I'll try to talk to the customer. I might be fired if he complains at this restaurant," she pleaded and insisted. I can't say anything and she was right. She will complain about it.
"Okay. But I'll wait for my companion," I inform her.
I looked at her and she was glad about it. "Thank you so much, Miss. I'll go ahead," she said.
I smile back and look at the tray. Why do people do this? Sighs, I seriously don't understand them. Until, I saw Raven back here and his forehead was frowning and narrowing the tray on our table.
"Who the hell is this food!" He groaned and gritted his teeth.
