Chapter 33

FREYA
"R-Raven," I call him slowly. I'm looking at him, worried and pleading not to cause a scene in people. He took a deep breath and sat down from his chair. "Did you order yourself without me?" He simply asked.
But I shook my head and that made him frown furthermore. "I didn't . . . S-someone did," I uttered. He must be really confused.
"Who?"
I shrugged, "I don't know. The crew placed this. I thought she was mistaken about it but she already told me that someone ordered this for me and I want to reject it but the crew pleaded that this would cause a scene. So, I have no choice but to accept it," I explained to Raven.
He didn't say anything but he sighed. "Alright. But don't get near who gave you this okay? Not that person. Let's give this to someone," he suggested.
I simply smiled at him. He nodded and called somebody. A crew approached us, "hello, Sir? What can I do?" He asks calmly. I look at the crew and his gestures are very friendly and the way he smiles are genuine enough to eye him.
"Can we order something? Where's the menu?" Raven butt-in that made me look at him.
I was surprised to see him raising his eyebrows. "What are you looking at?" He mouthed. I shook my head and frowned at him.
"Ma'am. Here's the menu," he said and handed the menu to me. I accepted it and smiled.
"Don't smile at him," Raven hissed.
I winched, "don't be like that. His crew after all. It's necessary to respond and respect them also," I defend but Raven rolled his eyes that made me laugh.
"Okay. Okay. I'm just telling you. He might get hit on you," He casually said.
My eyes widened, "What? Getting hit on me? Are you sure?" I was laughing so hard that the crew was frowning. I realized what I just did. I stopped laughing and simply hid, averting my eyes on the shore.
Why does Raven need to talk about this in front of the crew? This is so embarrassing.
Raven and I started to order Filipino dishes. I've eardropped and my eyes widened. "Why did you order a lot? What should we do about that?" Frantically I shook him.
"Well. I'm hungry—".
"Is this all, Sir?" The crew assured and listed everything that Raven ordered.
Raven nodded and said, "Yes. That's all."
He was grinning and placed it on the tray in the other table that was vacant. "What will you do about that?" I asked him.
"Well. It's getting on my nerves to see that thing," He rolled his eyes again.
I can't help but chuckle.
"Why does it bother you?" I smirk.
"I-I just don't want to see that thing. And who gave you that. Let's see what I can do," he threatened. His eyes flinched, twitching my eyebrow.
"Are you sure about that? Hmmmm," I said. His expression melted and shook his head.
"No. I mean. I'll just talk to him. Why did that person order something from you? Even if you're a stranger to him or her," he thought and sulked. I can't help but to laugh.
"Don't act like a kid. It doesn't fit you," I said laughingly.
"I know. But maybe you'll fit me," he said.
My cheeks redden at what he said. "What did you said? And that's already insane," I winched. He was chuckling and smirked. I only shook my head and I couldn't talk about it.
"You didn't expect that, did you? Well. It's nice to see that you have become shy about me. And lately comfortable," Raven confessed.
I was shocked. "Many days I've spent with you. Then I'll still be bothered if I'm not comfortable with you. The only exception is that you're my boss," I chuckled.
He was smiling but averted to look at the view, the shore. I'm glad to see Raven like this. Now that I'm knowing him further and comfortable to open up about myself to me. Sometimes I'm confused about him. The way he acts towards me. His possessiveness but I don't have a choice to let him do what he wants. I don't want to cause something from him. And also he's the one who helped me to get a job.
"That's lovely to hear. I'm really glad. Really glad to hear that from you," he said.
All I can do is to smile while waiting for our order. I called someone to pack the tray that Raven had placed on the other table. He was yakking about things that were not absolute to expect from him. Until the food has arrived and let the food be packed.
My heart aches when I see a kid walking on the shore while aiming for something. I'm disheartened to see him in that state. Especially these kids— who are not privileged to live by. This kind of person needs attention for help. "Let we give this food," I thought to Raven.
He looked at me, "Huh?"
"There. Over there. There's a kid roaming around and I feel disheartened to see it in that state," I told Raven and pointed out that Kid. While he was walking near our direction. I saw that Raven was handing that Kid to come closer.
I'm stunned and didn't flinch about it.
"Kid. Come here," Raven ordered.
As the Kid approached us. I saw him clearly. My heart was broken when I saw his clothes. But what I've admired is when Raven called him his face brightened and smiled at him.
"S-Sir?" He called Raven.
"Come here," he ordered the Kid. The Kid was happy and ran towards the store. I'm overwhelmed seeing this Kid. But when he was about to enter someone stopped him at the door. I got curious and walked towards.
"Hey, Kid. You're not allowed here," the crew said to him.
I saw how his face was but I approached the guy. "S-Sir? I told him to come here. Let him in," I stated. The man looked at me and was surprised to see me.
