“No one”
“You’re not really going to talk?”
He turned around facing the window. I sighed. I don’t know what to do anymore. I don’t want to be stressed, I’m pregnant and it may affect my child inside.
“Then, wait here until your punishment”
“I don’t want to harm anyone”
“Then, why did you do that?”
“I don’t have a choice”
He sit down and never utter a single word again. I decided to go out and visit Scarlet.
As soon as I walked in. Sebastian was there sitting beside Scarlet while holding her hands. I furrowed my forehead. I know he noticed it.
“I just want to eat dinner with her, now, it turns out this way”
“I apologized for that”
“No, if that would happened to you, I know Scarlet will do the same”
“Yeah, she’s a good kid after all”
“Indeed”
“Let’s cut to the chase, you have something to do with what happened, earlier?”
“No, I don’t”
“Thought so”
“I wanted to talked with her privately. I didn’t get a chance to explained myself. That day, I’m a coward. I used nonsense reasons. In the end, I let her go”
“You loved her?”
“Yes”
I smiled at him. The way he showed his worries isn't my hallucination at all.
“Then I shall go, I’ll leave Scarlet to you. I’ll handle the matters regarding the commotion earlier. I know you’re also, tired”
“Yes, leave it to me”
I smiled at him. Well, this shows how sincere he is. Before he totally gone out, he’s in front of the opened door, his hand is on the doorknob. He looked at me with those challenging eyes.
“Someday, I’ll get Scarlet with my own two hands, be prepared for that Lady Marcox”
After that, he walked away. Wait, he knew my identity. How?
I stare at Scarlet, I know she’s awake. I saw her flinched for a second when I’m talking to Sebastian.
“I know you’re awake”
She opened her eyes. Then lean to the headboard.
“I’m sorry milady, I don’t have the timing to be awake”
“Well, you’ve heard what he said. What’s your plan now?”
“I… I don’t know”
“There’s only one thing that I can advice you, follow your heart where you can find happiness”
I stood up and patted her head. I walked to the second bed to lay. While, Amelia had fallen asleep to the sofa. I want to wake her up but, I might disturb her dream.
“I’m glad you’re okay”
“I apologized earlier, milady”
“No, it’s okay. Because of you, I’m safe”
“Go to sleep, milady. I know you’re tired”
“Okay, if Amelia will get up, tell her to sleep on the bed. Okay?”
“Yes, milady”
After going out to the room of those three ladies, I told the guards to investigate further. As far as I know, this ship is very strict then why a poison entered here? I should go to the captain.
“Where is the captain?”
I heard the door opened when I looked around, it’s the captain of the ship.
“I apologized for the commotion earlier, milord”
“It’s okay, now tell me? Why a poison entered here? Does your employees gone dull?”
“ I apologized for that, milord. It’s our fault that we didn’t checked the employees belongings because all these years there’s nothing extreme happened just like earlier”
“Then?”
“We will keep that in our mind, milord. We will deepen our securities and checking of weapons or any things that may harm our guests”
“That’s good, you have a report?”
“Yes, As I was checking the documents together with my assistant, there is supposed to be a three part timers”
“Is that a child?”
“No, those three young boys aren’t the one. They will supposed to be on board next week. They are currently processing their documents as of now, milord”
“The chef?”
“We trusted that chef, milord. We thought that he will not do something like that. The two of us is, deployed here on the same day. He’s the good friend of everyone in here”
“You want me to pardon him?”
“No, no. It’s best that you give him the appropriate punishment but, please do hear his reasons first, milord. All of us thought that he had a deep reason in doing that”
“Well then, I should go”
I walked to the corridors of the ship. Until, we’re on the basement. I really want to sleep right now, but I can’t.
I saw the three kids quivering in cold.
“Go get some blankets for them”
There are three guards that’s accompanying me. I passed by them to talked to the chef. I squat down to talked to him, he’s currently laying on the floor.
“Wake up”
“I’m awake”
“Can’t sleep, eh?”
There’s no response. I expected this to happened.
“Can you tell us, why did you do that?”
“No”
“Well then, whether it’s your will or not. I’ll be investigating your family or your relatives”
“I don’t have any of that”
“Your daughter?”
He stood up which I knew I hit something. I’m just guessing. Well, I handle these kind of matters because of that freaking prince.
“Oh I see? You have a daughter”
“Don’t touch her”
“Unless, you tell us why did you do that then I shall not lay a finger to her”

His faced turned pale. Yes, when someone hear my name. They will be scared. Why? There are tons of criminals I’ve put to jail or to execution because, that crowned prince uses my name everytime.
“P..please spare my daughter. She have nothing to do with it. I don’t intend to harm anyone”
“Where did you get that poison?”
“My daughter give it to me. She hate the Lady who were on the ship. It’s the first time I saw her since she’s ten, that’s why I did that. I’m very sorry, I’m sorry. Please put the blame on me, not to my daughter”
“Alright. Wait, for your punishment”
“Please, don’t harm my daughter”
“We’ll see that”
“Please, I beg you”
I walked away and never looked back to them. Finally, I can sleep.
Thanks to that crown prince who uses my name frequently, the confession went well.
“Grog?”
“Yes, brother?”
“Tomorrow, we will arrived to the port. You stay here to go back. I need you to investigate that mans origin, as well as his daughter. Understand?”
“Yes, brother”
“And one more thing, while I’m away you managed our guild too”
“Isn’t that too much?”
“That’s quite too much, isn’t it?”
“Yes”
“Then, I need you to visit the crown prince first thing you’ve arrived to the capital, tell him my name and he will let you enter”
“What?”
“You have something to say?”
“I thought you’ll lessen my duties?”
“Oh? Really? How bad is that?”
“Yeah, I can’t do that”
“Then, send me weekly reports about the situation in the capital and in our guild. Also, within a month you’re investigation should be done”
“Whaaaat?!”
“Do you have something to say?”
“No, no, brother. I’m good”
“Then, you’re dismissed”
As soon as he hold the doorknob, I stopped him.
"By the way, why are you on the ship?"
"Oh? I'm hitting some girls and it's supposed my dayoff today so, I'd live to visit places on the west"
"Well, then, after I come back, you don't have any dayoff"
"Wait, why?"
"For touching that's not yours"
"Brother, i didn't know that she's your woman. You'd never said a word about her to us"

"But, you should tell us. So that, we will be aware"
"And now you're aware. You can go out now"
He sighed and gone out. I laid on my bed. I need to rest, because tomorrow i'll see her again. This will be a good trip for me.
