I came back to my senses when I felt that someone sit beside me. I look who is it, and it was Scarlet.
“Is there something wrong?”
I clamped my mouth into thin line. I know she’s looking at me, right now. There’s a silence between us.
“Can you tell me what is it?”
“In the right time”
She just nodded. I know she wont further talked about it. She wouldn't not think twice in probing that matter further. I appreciate her kindness. She really respects my privacy.
“Why are you here, you’re supposed to be there as the part of the family”
“No, it’s okay. I can accompany you”
“No, you should go there. I’m fine you don’t have anything to worry about”
“It’s really okay, I already ask for permission that I’ll stay here”
“This is once in a lifetime moment; you should bond with them together with your sister-in-law. I’m really okay”
“Are you sure?"
“Yes”
“But, I can’t”
“No, I insist. You should spend as much time together with your family while you’re still here”
“What do you mean?”
“I plan to go back”
“Are you sure by that, milady? Or you just want me to go there?”
“Yes, I’m planning to go back so, you must stay with your family”
“All right but, if you have something you need. Don’t hesitate to approach me, okay?”
“Yes, yes, now off you go”
If she wants to stay then, she should. I can go back myself and that’s better. if the world rotates the way it was then, what’s ahead of us is execution, a decapitation. I don’t want her to suffer like that because protecting someone like me. She should chase her happiness.
As much as possible, I want to protect the people who so good to me. If there’s a need to sacrifice, that would be me. A stranger to this world, I’ll secure first the future of my child. He should live the way he likes it.
I smiled bitterly while rubbing my stomach as I imagined the world without my son and vice versa. This must be what they say that pregnant women are emotional.
“Are you okay, milady?”
I look up who says that. It’s Fox, he jumped on the carriage and sat across me.
“I’m okay, I didn’t know that Sebastian and you are friends”
“yeah”
“Did you come often here?”
“No, whenever Sebastian goes home it’s only one to two nights so I didn’t bother to accompany him”
“I see”
“How are you?”
“I’m okay, getting better, I guess?”
“Hmm. The baby?”
“If the mom is healthy, so does the baby”
“Indeed”
“I didn’t expect that someone like you would come here”
“Yeah, me too"
“Huh?” I blurted out a question.
When he open his mouth to answer my question, i heard to people quarreling not far away from us. I hear them bickering and approaching us and those are familiar voices. I glance to where the voice coming from.
“Brother, that lady is not admitting that I’m the handsome of us three” shouted by Grog while chasing Amelia who’s briskly walking towards us.
“Shut up!”
The two-bickering duo was just a few meters away from us. Amelia hopped in and sit beside me.
“Brother, tell her that I’m the handsome man in the world"
“Stop spouting nonsense”
“Lady, will you tell your lovely attendant to open her eyes and saw my handsomeness?”
“The lady won’t agree. Who told you, you’re handsome?”
“The lovely ladies in the capital”
“No, they’re just polite. Don’t take it to heart”
I just sigh to their never-ending conflict about whether he’s handsome or not. I don’t want to take part with some useless things. It will drain my energy. I decided to observe the features of Grog and for me, he’s also handsome but, his attitude probably made Amelia not admit it.
“Oh? You’re all here. Let’s go to the park. I’m hungry”
Nanny sit in front of the low poly carriage together with Sir Frets. Sebastian carried Dairy and immediately, sit on the lap of Amelia. The two of them create a sister bond in a short period of time which is admirable while, Sebastian gently assists Scarlet to hop in. Those two should end up together.
“Big brother, you’re handsome"
“Thank you” replied by Grog
“Not you big brother, it’s him”

Dairy pointed at Fox. All of us present there agreed to her silently except to one, Grog. At one glance, we can’t call Grog handsome as he let out an airy atmosphere which made us not to look for too long.
“No, I’m more handsome than him”
“No big brother, this brother here is handsome” dairy pointed to Fox while denying that Grog is handsome.
“Kids never lie” Amelia smug while saying that phrase.
“Now, now, don’t argue. You’ll spoil the mood here and at the venue, later”
I stop them, I don’t like where that topic will go. It’s an awkward situation, no one utter a single word. The only voice who we heard is Dairy singing a song. It’s probably a nursery rhyme as it has a kid’s tune.
Nanny grabs our attention and breaking the silence. “Oh yeah? I have a ticket here to stay at the Spring Inn”
“Really mom?”
“Yes, that’s where the honeymoon supposed to be held but, your brother changed his mind. He wanted to let her see the house that he built for her first before traveling"
“Isn’t it a waste?”
“No, the bride told us its okay for us to go since, she doesn’t have any interest in traveling. She’s a homebody type of person”
“And, it’s best that you three to relax more and change your pace”
“Do you know the way, Scarlet?”
“Yes, mother”
“It’s okay to not stay longer to the reception for you to go there early or do you want it tomorrow?”
“What the ticket says?”
“it’s for the free accommodation but, there’s no specific date”
“Then, we’ll go tomorrow. We can’t possible miss the once in a lifetime of Sir Leon”
“Right, how about you boys? Do you want to go? But I don’t have enough ticket for you. You can purchase there as soon as you arrive”
“Madam, maybe we should give the girls some time to bond and to rest”
“Well, it would be nice that someone can protect them after all they are beautiful”
“we’ll give it a consideration”
“I’ll expect it”
Nanny didn’t see what’s Scarlet’s facial reaction, her face shouts in disagreement. I guess Sebastian understood that. I thought he’ll say yes immediately. Probably, he wants to think first what Scarlet would like. I sighed at the sight of the two. They’re hopeless. I glanced at the person on my front, he seems like looking at me. I smiled at him, and ask what’s wrong but he didn’t response and just look away.
