Even though my wounds aren't fully healed, I still went to school. As I walked down the hallway, I encountered the Evil gang. I was about to pass by them when Montiverde spoke. I needed to avoid their group; they could only be a hindrance, or worse, they might get in trouble because of me. I didn't want any innocent people around me to suffer.
"Ms. Konaide? How are you? Isn't it early for you to leave the hospital?" Montiverde asked.
"I'm totally fine. I don't need to stay in the hospital; I have many things to do," I seriously replied, about to leave when Monticello spoke.
"Kairhara, wait—here are chocolates for you. I brought them just for you. Get well soon!" he said, handing me the chocolates.
"You can have them," I said seriously. I didn't want them involved in my affairs.
"These are really for you; I brought a lot..." I sighed and took the chocolates. He brought so many; it seemed like he wanted to ruin my teeth. "Hmm... thank..." I replied briefly. I walked away; I didn't have time for a long conversation with them.
"Kairhara, wait—let's go to the room together!" Monticello said, walking alongside me. I let them accompany me, took the chocolates, and started eating. I actually liked chocolates; they relieved my stress.
"Is it good? If you need more, I have plenty here!"
"Okay," I replied tersely. Some students were already angry with me.
"I'm really annoyed with her..."
"She's so flirtatious..."
"You're so beautiful, baby Kairhara!" shouted some guys around. Ugh, baby? Disgusting. I heard more comments, but I just ignored them. When we reached the room, all our female classmates gave me hostile looks, especially Mondragon. I just glared at her; she clearly despised me. I sat down, planning to sleep and avoid their whispers. However, a loud girl disturbed me.
"Good morning besty, I miss you!" she yelled, hugging me from behind. She was annoying, and I couldn't stand her. I snapped at her, making it clear we weren't friends.
"Shut up, you're so noisy! We're not friends, so don't call me besty. I'll never be friends with you!" I shouted, not caring about the classmates' whispers. I didn't care; I just wanted her to stop. She sat next to me and continued talking. I couldn't sleep because of her.
"Cousin, why are you crying? Is something wrong?" a newcomer asked.
"Am I ugly?" she asked the new guy. She was indeed ugly.
"Cousin, do you really have to ask that? Yes, you're ugly!" I said harshly. She burst into tears, but I didn't care. I left the room to find a quiet place; that girl was toxic. Outside the school, I thought I could relax, but a guy appeared.
"Cutting class?" I ignored him and walked away. "You're so snobbish. What's your name?" he asked, following me. I coldly looked at him. "Hey, Ms! Are you mute?" he blocked my way. "Why won't you acknowledge me? I just want to get to know you. I'm Skyper, and you?" he kept talking. I told him to be quiet, but he didn't stop. "Hey, Ms! Here's ice cream!" I got irritated again, and he handed me ice cream. I ate it without acknowledging him. "Take it; it might melt. It's a remedy for your hot head!" he said. Annoyed, I took the ice cream. "I'm also getting one," he said.
"Tch..."
"You're so grumpy. What's your name?"
"Figure it out."
"Can't you just tell me?"
"I don't want to."
"What if I find out?"
"Then find out."
"You're so stubborn."
"I don't care."
"Ugh!"
"Tch..."
*Skyper pov*
I just followed her, I don't know why, but I'm into this girl. She's beautiful, but so quiet and has a cold vibe. It feels like I want to wrap myself in a blanket because of the cold, just kidding.
"Hey, Miss? What's your name?" I kept asking repeatedly; she wouldn't tell me her name despite my persistent questioning.
"Stop following me," she said with annoyance. Look at this girl, after treating her, she's so snobbish.
"What if I don't want to stop?" I grinned and blocked her way again.
"Tch..."
"Just tell me your name; I'll add you on Facebook!"
"I don't have Facebook," I sighed because she's so stubborn.
"Even if you just tell me your name?"
"I don't want you to know."
I kept pestering her until I saw a flower and balloon vendor.
"Manong, one balloon and a flower!"
"Here, son. 150 for both!" I paid and followed that girl again. I didn't know where she was going, but I planned to follow her anywhere. I'm really interested in her, so I'll do anything to know her name.
"Hey, Miss!"
"Stop following me."
"Nah, I already said I won't stop."
"Then don't stop, keep following until you get tired." This girl is such a wise guy.
"Oh, flower and balloon, I bought them for you," I said, handing her my purchase. But she didn't take it.
"I'm not a child for a balloon, and I'm definitely not the girl you can sweet-talk."
"Come on, be nice to me. I'm just really curious about your name!"
"You won't get through me with that."
"What do you want?" I asked as she suddenly approached me, her face close to mine. Damn, it's so close, like she's about to kiss me.
"Leave me alone," she said and turned away. I just sighed and didn't follow her anymore. I just watched her walk away; she's so beautiful. It's like I'm in love with her.
"Hey, Sky, you're drooling!"
"Huh?" I asked, surprised.
"This is Earth, Sky? We're on Earth, not in space. You're so spaced out!" I was surprised by the voice behind me. I turned to see Valser.
"What are you doing here, Valser? Are you following me?" I asked; that girl is already far away, and I didn't even know her name. What if I go to her school? Tch, I'll find out your name, girl.
"Yeah, I've been following you since earlier. You're so busy; you didn't even notice me. What if I were trying to kill you? You might be mourned now!"
"Huh? Why are you following me, huh?" I raised an eyebrow. Who says only girls can raise their eyebrows?
"Probably because you told me you'd wait for me outside. You're waiting for someone else, I saw you following that girl. So I decided to follow you to find out who she is," she said and laughed suddenly. "It's just Ms. Konaide that you're following!"
"How do you know her?" I asked, surprised that she knows her name.
"Because she's my classmate!"
"Oh, is that so? I've been asking for her name, but she wouldn't tell me!"
"If I were you, bro, I'd stop this nonsense with that girl. You know why? Rumor has it she's Shadow's girlfriend."
"It's just a rumor, no evidence yet, so I still have a chance..."
"It's up to you, but you might just get hurt! Good luck!" I can't believe she's Shadow's girlfriend. Grr... I'm annoyed. I'm only interested in a girl now, and she's already taken.
"Let's go!" I said; Valser and I have somewhere to go. I also saw that girl, so I'm sure Leader will scold us.
By the way, I'm the third member of Valser; I didn't study at the university they're attending. My dad didn't want me to go there, so I chose to distance myself from them.
