"And that's everything that happened while you were gone" Brandon concluded.
"Nice, so you are like a rune master now" Bruce said.
"Not really, Miss Silver said I still have a lot to learn about runes" Brandon replied.
"Well, don't worry, I am sure you will master it soon" Bruce said.
"Thanks bro" Brandon said.
The next morning, Bruce was woken up by the sound of running water, he looked over at Alec who was doing some morning pushups.
"It's a little early for a shower" Bruce muttered.
He decided to go for a jog around the school. Since it was a weekend, there were a lot of students outside but those that were couldn't help but whisper as Bruce jogged past them.
The news of his deeds at Alphite Industries had spread all over the school like wildfire, even the 2nd and 3rd years had heard about it.
Some looked at him with adoration while others like Brutus looked at him with envy and jealousy, he was expecting to receive some form of recognition even though he didn't make any major contributions.
When Bruce got back to his dorm, he was surprised to see a familiar yet unfamiliar figure going through Brandon's things.
"What are you doing?" Bruce asked.
"Who are asking? Me or him?" Brandon asked turning to face Bruce.
"Brandon? you dyed your hair?" Bruce asked.
"Yeah, with each evolution, my hair colour seemed to change gradually and it was staring to look awkward walking around with green and orange hair, so I got some permanent dye and turned my hair completely orange" Brandon explained.
"I was startled as well when I saw him, I initially thought he was an intruder" Alex said.
"Does it look bad?" Brandon asked.
"No, it actually suits you" Alec said.
"Can everyone meet me at The Oasis after lunch today?" Brandon asked.
"Sure, is there a problem?" Bruce asked.
"Not at all, I just have a surprise for you guys" Brandon replied.
He left the room to go practice his runes, making sure to grab breakfast from the cafeteria before leaving.
His hard work was starting to pay off as he managed to draw the runes 50% faster than a
normal person without making a mistake.
As he drew the ruins, he could feel his power intensifying, the more he mastered the stronger the energy within him became.
"You are getting better" Ian commented.
"Practice makes perfect, by the way, how many people can I take into my dimensional space at once?" Brandon asked.
"It depends on your mental fortitude, at your current level, you should be able to accommodate at least 20 individuals, in the old days, phoenix knights would carry their troops in their dimensional space for fast movement and ambushing the enemy" Ian explained.
"Nice, I want my friends to meet Nicole, he could use some interactions with people other than me" Brandon said.
"It's a good idea" Ian said.
Brandon continued practicing the runes until his friends arrived.
"Hey Brandon, we brou-" Natalie stopped halfway as her eyes landed on his hair.
"Wow, I like the new look" Maya said.
"Thanks for the comment and lunch" Brandon replied Taking the food from a shocked Natalie and eating.
"So what did you want to show us?" Angelo asked.
"Close your eyes" Brandon said which they did.
"Now open them" Brandon said after some seconds.
"Woah, where are we?" Natalie asked.
"We are certainly not in Blue River Academy anymore" Angelo said.
"It's beautiful" Maya said.
"It's better than that, it feels so peaceful here" Isabella said.
"It's a nice surprise" Alec said.
"Oh this isn't the surprise" Brandon said.
The next moment, a figure landed in front of them, the most noticable feature being the large blue wings which on closer inspection was swirled around by lightning.
"Everyone, meet Nicole, I met him on that planet we got teleported to by mistake" Brandon said.
"Don't leave out the best part, you saved my life, he saved me from that ogre that was syphoning all my power through the vampiric rune" Nicole said.
"Woah, he certainly didn't mention that to us, I'm Bruce, these are, Alec, Isabella, Natalie, Angelo, Dom and Maya, it's nice to meet you" Bruce said.
"Nice to meet you too, oh here comes shadow and her cubs" Nicole said.
They looked in the direction he was facing, a group of four shadow leopards were sprinting towards them. 
"Shouldn't we be running?" Dom asked.
"Don't worry, she won't attack you" Nicole said.
Maya instantly recognized the mother as the leopard that was guarding that tree.
"Hey there, you are looking really good" Maya said as she gently rubbed it's head.
"And you have beautiful cubs too" She added.
She bent down to pat them, they were a bit hesitant to approach her but seeing their mother being calm around the her they let go of their fear.
"Everyone meet Ko, Jake and Sona" Nicole introduced.
"Quick question, why don't we come to train here?" Alec asked.
"Try using your ability" Brandon replied.
Alec swung his arm in attempt to draw a fire ball but nothing happened.
"Wait, what's going on here?" Alec asked.
"There's no spiritual energy here but I feel something else" Angelo replied.
"It's called soul force, it can only be used by supernaturals" Brandon explained.
"I just call it divine energy so I don't mistake it for soul energy" Nicole said.
"So you are a member of the foreign race?" Alec asked.
"Foreign races, yes, there are a lot of races out there both after good and bad sides in different amounts" Nicole explained.
"So you are one of the goods ones?" Dom asked.
"Yeah, that's I was imprisoned on that planet and used only as a power source" Nicole replied.
"Wow, I can believe I am actually meeting someone from another planet" Isabella said.
"it's a pleasure to meet you too miss, I can sense the power of the frost fire within you" Nicole said.
"I only recently mastered it" Isabella replied.
"It's nice to know Brand is surrounded by good and powerful people, I love the new hair by the way" Nicole said.
"Brand? that's new" Alec said.
"Don't mind me, I just like to shorten names" Nicole said.
"It's no big deal, Brand or Brandon is fine" Brandon said.
"Do you mind telling us more about the foreign races?" Angelo asked.
"From what Brandon told me, for some reason, your school has prevented you 1st years from knowing anything about us" Nicole said.
"Yes, but we need to know what we are up against since we now have special targets on our backs" Angelo said.
"Yeah, we would have asked Miss Silver but, she's currently busy" Alec said.
"Well the foreign races comprise a wide variety of species, though the major groups are the day and night creatures, those that fall under both are called prequels. The night creatures are foreign race species that strive in the dark, they are dangerous and deadly, here we have creatures like vampires, werewolves, zombies, Wendigos, some dragons, Olitiaus ,the day creatures include witches, angels, sphinxes, Griffins, dragons, fairies etc though bare in mind that the day creatures can also be spotted at night, other species of foreign races are Centaurs, Minitours, Druids, Darachs (Dark Druids), elves, Unicorns, Pegasus, Thunderbirds, Phoenix, Basilisks, Fauns, mermaids, sirens, kitsunes, sea monsters, elemental spirits, there are many others that I can't recall at the moment" Nicole explained.
"Wow, that's a lot to take in, and you said there are some you don't remember" Alec said.
"Yeah, and some of these have sub species, like the Phoenixes as they grow older become elemental phoenixes, there are phoenixes for every element same for dragons but species like demons have a different denomination, they are segregated based on negative emotions and certain attitudes" Nicole explained.
"Though it's been discovered that demons of love exist" Nicole said.
"Love or lust?" Maya asked.
"Love, they were initially mistaken as demons of lust but after some tests, it was discovered to be love, love so powerful that they could watch the world burn to protect the ones they love and not thirst for physical touch, they are about as rare as crimson phoenixes and considered abominations amongst their fellow demons and with time their numbers dwindled, I met one once" Nicole explained.
"But I don't see why, they don't tell us this stuff in our 1st year" Natalie said.
"It's probably because of the horrors brought about by the bad foreign races you are currently at war with, though the demons are to blame, they forced the other races to join them making sure to hunt and enslave those who refused" Nicole explained.
"I'm sure some of your 2nd years still have nightmares from the first they fought the foreign races, I know I would" Nicole said.
"That explains Sir Briam and Luke being a demons" Bruce said.
"You have met demons?" Nicole asked.
"Well, yes and no" Brandon said.
He went on to explain what happened before they met, how they discovered Sir Briam and Luke were demons after searching the house and going through the files.
"It's only a matter of time before they overrun this school" Nicole sighed.
"You think so?" Alec asked.
"I know so, this Briam is most likely a demon of mischief and he will find away to bring the others here even if he doesn't where here is" Nicole said.
"Not if we stop him first" Brandon said.
"I advice you hurry, I'm sure they are plotting thier next move during this moment of peace you are enjoying" Nicole said.
"I guess the stakes just got higher" Dom said.
"Hmmm, child of light, you remind me of sun birds, beings capable of harnessing the raw power of the sun, you will be a divine asset against the creatures of the night" Nicole said to Dom.
"Wow, that's a very impressive way to praise a person" Alec said.
"You didn't mention sun birds earlier" Angelo stated.
"That's because they were wiped out, the night creatures wiped them all out, well that's what it seems like, if there are any left, they are probably in hiding" Nicole replied.
"Well then, I guess that's about it for foreign race 101 today" Brandon said.
"Enough talk, let's have a little fun before you guys have to leave" Nicole said.
"The fate of the world rest in our hands and you want us to have fun?" Alec asked.
"I don't see why not" Nicole chuckled nervously.
"let's do it then" Alec said laughed.
"I have an idea, you guys should race each other while carrying someone" He said.
"Just say you want to ride a thunderbird or Phoenix" Brandon chuckled.
"You are right , I do want to know what it's like to ride one of you" Alex said.
A few minutes later, they said their good byes and left the dimensional space.
"Well that was fun" Alec said.
"Scary but fun" Dom added.
"Oh come on, he caught you after you fell off so it's all good" Alec chuckled.
"Right" Dom replied not feeling encouraged.
"Well, we have spent a good part of our day in there so I suggest we get some training in before going back to their dorms" Brandon said.
"I'm in" Angelo said.
"I don't see why not" Bruce added.
With that said the rest agreed to the training exercises and after exhausting themselves, they left for their dorms.
The week streamed by and soon it was Friday, Alec, Brandon and Bruce were wait at the TR for the seniors they would be shadowing.
Soon Levi, Nicholas and Leo walked in with light bags since it was just a two day trip.
"Now, the shadow mission is simple, you are to accompany your selected seniors as disciples, learn some survival skills, slay beasts and learn to be resourceful, who knows if you are lucky, you might see some foreign races but if you do, you are not to mention it to the others" The soldier addressed.
"Levi and Leo, you are being sent to a polar region to investigate some sightings, confront only if necessary, Nicholas, there's a town on planet Ares that needs technical support, that makes you and your disciple perfect for the job" The soldier added..
"Ready for our adventure little bird?" Levi asked.
"Little bird? yeah, I guess" Brandon said confused.
And with that the boys stepped through their the teleporters with their seniors.
