The next day, Brandon met with Miss Silver to continue his rune drawing training.
"Looks like you know how to access soul energy in the environment now" Miss Silver said.
"Yes but, I have a question" Brandon said.
"Okay, ask your question" Miss Silver said.
"What's the difference between Soul force and soul energy?" Brandon asked.
"I didn't know you had an idea about soul force but the difference is soul force and soul energy is access, soul force can be used by the supernatural alone but soul energy can be used by both supernatural and natural though only advanced mages" Miss Silver replied.
"I could just as easily have told you that, if you had asked me" Ian said.
"Sounds like someone is jealous" Brandon said.
"I am not" Ian replied.
"This is a book on basic elemental Genesis runes, it might take you a while to learn them but it will be worth it" Miss Silver said handing him an old book.
"Now, the strength of a rune depends on the strength of the person drawing it, when you master a rune to a point, you will be able to draw it within a split second thanks to your super speed" Miss Silver said.
"How long do you think it will take for me to master them?" Brandon asked.
"Well that depends on your dedication but, you shouldn't rush it, take your time to actually learn how to draw the rune slowly before speeding up" Miss Silver advised.
"Lunch is almost over, you had better head out now, I will be busy for the next few days but you can come here to study your runes whenever you like" Miss Silver said.
After classes for the day, Brandon came back to the register to start practicing.
"Ian, I feel my next evolution is close, could you tell me how close?" Brandon asked.
"Yeah, it's very close actually, a fight with someone strong should give you the right amount of push needed" Ian replied.
"Thanks, that's good to know, now let's see, which rune shall I start with" Brandon wandered as he took out the old book given to him.

Elsewhere on school grounds, Maya and Angelo were heading to the gym.
"From what I could gather, you are a human embodiment of mother nature capable of rapidly growing plants or enormous healing power, some sources say you should be able to control the weather, talk to animals and possibly control them, some added that you should be able to control the four most basic elements - Fire, water, earth and air" Angelo said.
"Wow, your sources seem to be rich in knowledge, so basically I became one with nature by absorbing that nature essence" Maya said.
"Yeah, though it would take a lot of hard work and practice" Angelo said.
They got to the gym where Alec, Isabella and Natalie were waiting.
"Took you guys long enough" Natalie said.
"We are not that late, it's just ten minutes after closing" Maya replied.
"Well, they are here now so let's just get on with training" Alec said.
"Wait, where's Brandon, won't he be joining us today?" Maya asked.
"Miss Silver gave him a special assignment that will take him a while to finish he will join us any day he's free, besides according to Miss Silver, we are lacking behind in terms of strength" Alec Angelo said.
They trained till dinner time before dispersing to their respective dorms for the night.
The next day, School was a drag as most of the classes for the day were boring to most students so when the bell rang signalling the end of classes for the day, sighs of relief could be heard around.
"Remember, just because we are closing early today doesn't give room for laziness" The teacher said before leaving.
Brandon left the lecture building to see Levi at his dorm, at this point most of the guys had recognized Bruce and Brandon as regular visitors so they didn't think much when he went to Levi's room.
"Who's there?" Levi asked when a knock came on his door.
"Brandon" Came the brief reply.
"Come in" Levi said.
"Glad to see you are doing well" Brandon said.
"Well, I have you and your friend to thank for that" Levi replied.
"Always happy to help" Brandon said.
"So what brings you here today? Levi asked.
"Well, I was hoping we could fight, " Brandon replied.
"Oh okay, we can use the back of the dorms" Levi said as he led Brandon out 
They were a few students relaxing around the area, once they noticed the two boys walking to the back of the dorms, they couldn't help but whisper.
"You think they wanna fight again?" One asked.
"It's not unlikely, from what I heard that kid is a monster" another replied.
They arrived at a clearing behind the dorm which was used by the 2nd years to train, luckily it was empty so they had the whole place to themselves.
"Alright, let's begin, though, I feel it's rather bold of you to come challenge me to a fight" Levi said.
"It was more of a request than a challenge" Brandon replied.
They charged at each other with fists covered in flames, the bangs and booms of their collision called the attention of those around and also confirmed the suspicion of some.
"Wow, look at them go" Nicholas said.
"Yeah, it's like watching two fiery beasts right" Jake replied.
"I wonder how we would do against that kid" Nicholas said.
"Probably not as good as Levi, from the way they fight he barely ahead of this kid in terms of power" Leo chipped in.
"Naa, I think Levi's just holding back" Josh said.
"Why are you guys watching from this far away?" Leonard asked.
They were on the roof of the dormitory watching the fight from there.
"Well, it's safer and gives us a wider view of the fight" Nicholas replied.
As the fight progressed between Brandon and Levi, Brandon had just caught Levi in a fire whip, which which Levi broke with a burst of flames of his own, in that moment Brandon's hand scribbled something in the air amd a flash of light shone at an unprepared Levi and in that moment of distraction, Brandon slammed into him with a flaming fist sending him crashing into a wall.
"Thanks for the fight, I should probably get going" Brandon said.
"So soon, I was starting to get excited" Levi said.
"Don't worry, I will be back" Brandon said before leaving.
Brandon hurried to the conservation area, walking past The Oasis moving deeper into the area before coming to stop within an orange orchard.
Letting go, he felt new found energy surge within me, pulsating through his vein as they bulged to their limits, the wind around turned violent and dark clouds gathered, the students at school thought a Strom was moving in but the next moment, the clouds disappeared followed by what sounded like a bird cry.
Brandon walked back to the school building with a smile on his face, he had finally reached the last phoenix knight stage and Ian promised he would unlock some new skills and attributes.
Making sure the door to the register locked behind him, he sat down awaiting his improved and attributes from Ian.

Brandon felt excited, he noticed that even the skills he used less like telekinesis and photokinesis improved as well.
Later that day he reviewed the message from Bruce asking why they felt the surge of energy within them.
Later that night, Brandon went into his dimensional space to check on Nicole and the shadow leopards.
"Hey Brandon, haven't seen you in a while" Nicole greeted.
"Yeah, sorry about that, it's just that I have been busy lately" Brandon replied.
"I see, how are your friends doing?" Nicole asked.
"They are good, you should meet them someday" Brandon said.
"I would love to by, the way, did you evolve again?" Nicole asked.
"Yeah, I am officially a Phoenix knight" Brandon replied with a smile.
"Wow, I assumed it would that at least half a year for you to do that" Nicole exclaimed.
"Well, I guess you are utilizing your potential well" Nicole added.
"How is shadow and her cubs?" Brandon asked.
"They are fine, they should be hunting at the moment, I put paint on the cubs forehead so I can tell them apart, the one with orange paint is Ko, blue is Jake and pink is Sona" Nicole replied.
"Nice, seems like you are all doing alright" Brandon said.
"Sounds like you are leaving again" Nicole said.
"Yeah, I have to go to bed, another busy day awaits me" Brandon replied.
"See you later" Nicole said before Brandon vanished.
The next day swept by like the others, after school, Brandon remained at the register, he was almost done memorizing the ruins in the book.
Alec and the others dropped by to check up on him before returning to the dorms.
"And that's the last one, all that's left is to practice them tomorrow morning and I am ready for what comes next" Brandon said.
Walking outside he saw his reflection in the mirror, the orange tint in his hair was spreading.
"I should probably do something about this" Brandon thought to himself.
When he got back to the dorm, he met Alec and Angelo playing a video game.
"You are finally back, pick a controller, the next race will start soon" Alec said.
"Hmmm, I think I will skip that and just head to bed" Brandon replied.
"Come on , Bruce, you can't spend the entire week being all serious and dedicated then not rest on the weekends" Alec said.
"He's right , Brandon, you need some time off, you have had a busy week, have some fun this weekend" Angelo said.
"I guess a little fun wouldn't hurt" Brandon said picking up the controller.
They played the next set of games together and only stopped when they heard a commotion outside.
"What's going on?" Alec asked peeking out the window.
"I think Bruce and Dom are in trouble" Brandon said placing his hand on his chest, he could feel Bruce trying to draw power from him.
"Really, are you sure?" Alec asked.
"Yes, I think Alphite Industries is under attack" Brandon said.
"Well I'd that's the case, Miss Silver and Sgt Raid would already be on the case" Angelo said.
"Yeah, you are right, let's try to get some sleep, it's way past midnight" Alec suggested with a yawn.
They took to their beds to squeeze in as many sleeping hours as they could, only waking up when consistent knocks were heard on the door.
Half awake, Alec got up from his bed to answer the door, it was Natalie and Maya.
"Good morning girls, any problems?" Brandon greeted.
"None, we just came to check on you guys seeing as you missed breakfast" Natalie replied.
"We missed breakfast!!!!!!!!!?" Alec exclaimed now fully awake.
"Yeah but, we brought you guys some food" Maya said with a smile.
"Have I ever told you girls how much I love you?" Alec smiled.
"No, but we will be sure to remember that" Natalie chuckled.
They handed the food over to Alec and returned to their dorms, after having breakfast, they went about their daily routines
