59: Chapter Fifty-Nine

“So, I was right... there were girls in the party,” I said as I take a bite from my salmon.
“I don’t know if Cameron was loyal or was afraid to get punched by your brothers. He didn’t even lay his eyes on the girls,” Kevin jokingly said. “Sylvester didn’t even last five minutes in stopping his urges.”
“That’s why I left the room. Good thing I did,” Cameron said and winked at me which made me blush.
“I wasn’t even the one who hired those girls. Sylvester really hired them for his self,” Stefano said.
“Why? What about you?” I asked.
“I left the room after Cameron. I even saw the two of you kissing while entering the room. Then I booked another room for myself and just slept.”
“Boring,” Sylvester said while shaking his head.
“What about Skyler?! Did you let my baby see that?!”
“Baby? He’s old enough to make a baby!” Irene said. I glared at her but she just smiled sarcastically.
“I didn’t even get to see the girls arrive. I had to leave to record a song for my upcoming album. I just returned this morning.” I nodded as I hear Skyler’s explanation.
“He didn’t even drink.”
“How could I drink? I have to record something. I just came to congratulate and welcome our brother-in-law.”
“I just hoped you all used protection,” I said. I may be a rebel before, and I partied a lot, but I can’t even think of having sex with just random people. Although, I had Via in a one-night-stand well at least I know Cameron personally, not just a random stranger.
“Don’t even talk about protection when you didn’t use one. That’s why you have Aviana now,” Irene said which was agreed by Sylvester. I pretended to hit Sylvester and glare at him for agreeing.
“It was different for us. At least we knew each other, but those men and women you spent the night with, you don’t even know them personally. What if you get an infection?” Cameron said.
“Right, it’s a different story,” I said.
“Don’t worry, I’m not ready to be a mother yet. I even take contraceptive pills,” Irene said. I just took a sip on my juice before turning to Sylvester.
“You’re the one who should be careful. It’s been months since you resigned. Having a child at this time is a wrong timing for you.”
“Don’t worry about me! I know what to do and I don’t like to have a child at this moment too. Getting tied up with a woman is the last thing I want to happen right now.”
“The wedding will be on the day after tomorrow. Are you both ready?” Stefano said to change the topic.
“It’s really a good thing Irene didn’t rush the wedding... or else—” Irene immediately smacked Kevin’s arm to stop him from talking.
“Don’t even talk about that asshole! It’s really a good thing that he’s gone in my life! I can’t believe I became his sex slave, that bastard! I’m going to kill him once he’s found!”
“There’s still no update about him?” Skyler asked. I shook my head as I drink.
“Casterdale isn’t that big, but it’s taking them too long to find him,” Vester said.
“A syndicate or an organization is helping him. If he is alone, then he wouldn’t last this long in hiding. He would eventually need supplies to survive, but we can’t even see his shadow until now. It’s safe to assume he’s either dead or with the syndicate,” Cameron said.
“Shouldn’t you postpone your wedding?” Irene asked. “Aren’t you afraid that he might show up in your wedding and create a chaos?”
“The wedding has been postponed multiple times already. It’s been set aside for so long and we can’t postpone it again. Also, SH Holdings and Z&H Empire security teams will be there. We maximized the security level to the highest one, and it is strict as hell,” I answered.
Actually, that scenario crossed my mind. I was thinking on what to do if Jackson suddenly shows up and ruin my wedding. The only thing I could do is manifest and pray that he wouldn’t show up. I just hope the wedding would end without any drama or tragedy.
--
Today is the day. I almost didn’t get enough sleep last night because of my nervousness. I woke up early worrying that my face would be puffy. Everything has to be perfect today!
“You look nervous, dear. Just relax. Everything will be fine,” Cameron’s mother said.
I am now having my make-up and hair fixed. The wedding ceremony will be held at a cathedral and the reception will be at the hotel’s garden.
“You can’t enter! Get out!” I looked through the mirror and saw Irene pushing someone, probably my brothers, away from entering the room.
“She’s our sister! We’re allowed to enter!”
“Hey! What are you all doing?! Why are you creating such a fuss?” I heard a familiar voice. I stood up and when the door opened, aunt Gianna entered.
“Auntie!” I happily shouted as I run towards her and hug.
“Oh, Savannah my dear! You look so fabulous! How are you doing?”
“I’m doing great! I’m really nervous but I’m happy.”
“I’m sure you are nervous. Facing a crowd is normal for you since you’re a model but doing it in your own wedding is different.” She handed me a paper bag of an expensive jewelry brand. “I don’t know what to give you.”
“You shouldn’t have bought anything, aunt Gianna. Just being here, knowing your busy schedule, is already too much for me.”
“Is that the latest collection?!” Irene shouted as soon as I opened aunt’s gift. “Mom! I was looking for that! It’s limited edition and only released in Paris! If I only knew you bought one, I would have asked you to buy me one too!”
“Irene! It’s a wedding gift for your cousin. It’s not the right time to act childish and be jealous!”
My brothers entered and Skyler handed me a box.
“What’s this? Another package?” I jokingly asked.
“It’s the gift we have been preparing to give you for months,” Skyler said.
“Your wedding was postponed for too long! I told them to just give it to you but they keep saying it’s for your wedding,” Sylvester added.
I opened the box and a pair of shoes is inside.
“Oh, my gosh. Is this glass shoes?” I asked in disbelief. The shoes are transparent, glass-like, and patterned with gold and diamond.
“Well, sort off? It’s a rare find and it came from and auction.”
“YOU BOUGHT THIS FROM AN AUCTION?!” I shouted after hearing Stefano. “How much did it cost?”
“More or less... fifty million?” I almost dropped it in shock.
“Why would you—oh my gosh you three!”
“Just thank us and wear it later. Does it even fit you?”
“How could I wear something that cost fifty million?!”
“We bought it for you to wear! Of course, we would choose something special and expensive.”
“If you don’t like it, then let me have it!” Irene was going to grab it from me but I took the shoes away from her.
“You may leave now. I’ll finish my preparations. Thank you, Aunt Gianna. I’ll see you all later.”
