The town has been a theater where different kinds of drama happens everyday, due to the school within. students have always been the cause of most of the incidence occuring. 
     That evening Roselyn went to the football pitch close to her hostel to give her eyes what it longs for. So far the sport was going well. Most of the applauding fans were girls. all supporting their crush, boyfriends and mates. it was fun. Despite being fun many still preferred to hang around and discuss.
     There Roselyn met Susan but Fatima did not come, probably she must have had a date or a place to visit. So they were watching together. Already Roselyn has forgotten she was supposed to call Richard.
"Babe, what's up?" One of the watchers standing beside bade with a harmless smile. He was actually feeling their vibes as they were so cheerful and engaged in the sport.
"Hey," Susan responded
"Which team are you supporting?" The guy asked them.
          This question was very amusing to both. They knew the reason for the question, and that's because there everyone had a team he or she supports but as for them they support whoever the ball is on his leg. There was no response expected of them actually, it was for them to be conscious of having gone against games rules. As they were still on it someone snuck up at them and blindfolded Susan from behind and quickly signalled Roselyn not to say who it is. Susan knew it must be a friend so she remained calm trying to guess who it is. But after many wrong guesses the game was quitted.
"Oh my God! Femi!" Susan yelled and leapt on him. From her expression Femi was actually an old friend she haven't seen for long. Their discussion was definitely going to be deep so she seized that opportunity to go respond to nature's call. 
            As a lady she needed a hidden place to carry out her assignment, so it compelled her to race down to a nearby abandoned building. she went far not just because it wasn't hidden enough but because it was filthy and stinking. People living nearby uses the building for their toilets. However, Roselyn needed a more comfortable spot and which she got.
           While on it, she heard a sound or rather a voice. She didn't understand what it really was. like someone in pain or maybe not. but was continuous.
"She'd to go check, it could be someone in pain that needs help. she got there and looked through the window, unfortunately what she saw was far from what she expected. 
"JESUS!" She exclaimed and looked away immediately. it was so overwhelming that she couldn't stand the scene. she left the place as swift as her legs could move her. When she returned to the place she didn't find Susan so she chose to go home.
           The scene created countless images and imaginations in her mind. she couldn't get over it. it literally took over her whole thoughts. 
"But why am I so shocked about this? it's something common, especially among youths. yes, it's something common but the environment. why a place like that? as stinking as it is? aside that, their age. kids barely 15. What if their parents catches them in the act? or what if it results to pregnancy? They are too young to understand all these? where did they learn all these? well, it's our generation, where parents are careless, letting their children indulge in all sorts of activities they desire. they use phones and there they can see all sorts of things, they mingle with anyone, go anywhere they want. no caution, advice, warning, scolding, beating or anything....." 
             Richard's call was what drew her attention back to the environment she was. Now she remembered she made a promise to call him. maybe he's been waiting and could wait no longer. She picked the call, put the phone on her ears and began with apologies which Richard wasn't comfortable with. He asked her to stop, that it wasn't serious to require apologies, then he told her he is at the cybercafé near the school to do some form filling and so they should meet.
"Tell me, are you coming or I should come?" Roselyn asked. 
"It will take about an hour to finish what I'm doing here. And doing it alone will be boring. But if you are here everything will flow smoothly"
"Is my presence not going to be a kind of distraction?"
"Says who? Not at all! I just need your assistance. Two heads are better than one. Hope you are not busy?"
"No, no at all. I'm now on my way returning from the football match. I can divert to the cybercafé. I'm not far even"
"Yes!! Richard screamed, which made Roselyn to burst into a sudden laughter.
"Is that how eager you are? please don't do that. I will be there in a minute"
          They met at the appointed place. they were both happy to see each other's face again. everyone around kept staring at them in admiration. They were both shy especially Roselyn, but she liked the fact that Richard was respected by many even those older and for that reason she was accorded with the same respect.
"I told my mother about you" Richard opened up. at this very juncture they were done with what they were doing.
"Really? God! what did you tell her actually?"
"That I found the most beautiful empress. and she happens to be the bone of my bone"
"You are not serious" Roselyn uttered. Richard's response caused amusement. they did not know that some guys behind them were eavesdropping so the laughter was wider than it was anticipated. So this made them stood quietly and leave the place. There their privacy wasn't ensured.
"So, what was her response?"
"You know mothers. She wants to meet that woman her son speaks about. that woman that gives her son sleepless nights"
"Can you be serious for once? I know you never said all these to her"
             Richard didn't respond because it was obviously a joke. Youths hardly speak boldly about their lovers to their parents, only few has the temerity to do so and mostly it's when the relationship is strong or it's already known.
"But honestly she wants to see you. And you said you ain't doing anything"
"Hmmm... " She hesitated before accepting. so they hopped on the scooter and rode off. They got to a junction and decided to buy steak.
"Mallam, do you have lion heart?" Richard joked. 
"Lion's heart?" Roselyn questioned in astounded manner. "Why not ask for octopus kidney?" Everyone laughed including the seller.
            Everyday there's more reasons to make the feelings she has for him grow. as he was pointing at the suya on the barbecue, Roselyn starred at him in admiration. a lot going through her mind. 
"He is a very interesting person. intelligent, funny, respectful and caring. He is very patient and observant, not as desperate and maneuvering as other guys. While in the realm of thoughts someone not expected showed up. 
"What is he doing here? Why Should he come here?" Roselyn asked nervously.
