The third day of the retreat has finally come to an end. They were currently at the penthouse preparing to sleep. Jae-seong went straight to her room after dinner for some reason that they don't know. They didn't bother to ask anymore as they thought she was just tired after a long day and tiring day. One by one they proceeded to their rooms leaving Ten and Yuta in the living room. 
"Are you gonna stay here", Yuta asked coldy. "Not yet feeling drowsy", Ten answered with eyes focused on his phone. "What is up with you and Jae-seong", Yuta finally asked. "What are you talking about", Ten asked back attempting to avoid the question. "You know exactly what I'm talking about", Yuta responded. Ten said turned off his phone and looked up only to see Yuta with angered eyes. 
"What do you want", Ten asked unbothered by Yuta's deadly gaze. "I want to know the truth. You can't keep on denying the facts", Yuta answered. "Fine. If it makes you feel better. If it helps you to sleep at night. Then fine, Jae-seong and I are dating", Ten said with a blank expression. Yuta went silent and stared into nothingness before standing up. 
Just as he was about to take a step, they heard sobbing and it wasn't from the both of them. They looked at each other confused until they heard it again. They followed the sound and later realized that it's coming from Jae-seong's room. Ten immediately ran to her room and opened the door only to find her crying in her sleep. Ten ran to her and aggressively shook her.
"Hey! Jae-seong! Wake up", Ten exclaimed but her crying only worsened. "Please! Jae-seong! Wake up please", Ten exclaimed with tears forming in his eyes. Jae-seong shot her eyes open and took a deep breath. She then looked at Ten with tears still streaming down her face. "S-stay with m-me", Jae-seong whispered holding Ten's hand. Ten nodded and hugged Jae-seong tightly. 
Ten stayed with her and calmed her down as much as he can. "What happened", Ten finally asked as soon as Jae-seong was calm enough. "There are just some things that haunt me to this day", Jae-seong simply answered. "Does this happen every night", Ten asked stroking Jae-seong's hair. Jae-seong nodded smiling in an attempt to not make Ten worry. "Why didn't you tell me", Ten asked holding her tighter. 
"You don't need to worry about me", Jae-seong said placing her hands on his chest. "Is that why you tried to spend the night at the pool", Ten asked. "I wanted to make the most out of this trip, I didn't want my nightmares to get in the way", Jae-seong answered indirectly. "Will sleeping with you help", Ten asked with a quirky smile. He got an unexpected reaction from Jae-seong where she nodded and buried her face on his chest. "Stay with me. Sleep with me", Jae-seong said as she closed her eyes. They spent the night in each others arms which ultimately made Jae-seong feel safe.
"What the hell is going on here", Jaehyun yelled waking up the two. "Shut up! You're so loud", Jae-seong exclaimed throwing a pillow at Jaehyun. "Don't act as if we haven't slept together before", Ten said smiling. "And I have nightmares. He just happened to help me sleep last night", Jae-seong said finally standing up. "H-hey y-you", Jaehyun stuttered. "Let's go down, shall we", Ten said standing up and winking at Jaehyun. 
They all went down for breakfast but Yuta was ultimately silent again. Taeyong was awkward knowing that Ten and Jae-seong slept together. But none of them brought it up again and kept their sentiments and pain to themselves. Just as Jae-seong finished eating, Yuta stood up and pulled her by the arm. "What the hell is your problem", Jae-seong asked but didn't get any response. Yuta dragged her until they were outside the events place.
"Hey! Let go of me", Jae-seong exclaimed yanking her arm free from Yuta's grip. "Is it true", Yuta asked. Jae-seong  just raised and eyebrow at him confused of what he's talking about. "Is it true that you and Ten are dating already", Yuta asked again. Jae-seong remained silent not wanting to say another word. She doesn't know if hurting Yuta with the truth is better than comforting him with a lie. 
"Is it? If it is then please tell me. End the stupid competition now to lessen my pain, I don't want to keep on pursuing you when I don't even have the slightest chance anymore-", Yuta said on the verge of tears but getting cut off by Jae-seong. 
"We're not."
1st lie.
"There's no way in hell that we're dating when I'm still not calling off the competition."
2nd lie.
"I don't even like him that way."
3rd lie.
"We recently just got close to each other."
4th lie.
"Just because we're both trainees and have to spend time together during training."
5th lie.
