"There you are", Hendery exclaimed as soon as he saw Jae-seong and Yuta walking towards him. "Looks like we'll win again", Yuta said looking at the items they've managed to find. "Woah! You can talk? I never knew", Hendery teased which made Jae-seong laugh. "Yeah yeah yeah that doesn't matter anymore. Let's start counting", Hendery said seeing Yuta's reaction.
Jae-seong then got all giddy when she noticed Ten was approaching. "Tennie", Jae-seong exclaimed clinging unto his arm. "Woah! What are you so happy about", Ten asked. "Yuta and I talked already", Jae-seong answered with a cute voice. "Wow! Good for you", Ten said with sincerity as he pinched Jae-seong's cheek. All eyes were on them already and were already suspucious on them. With this, Ten decided to make it more interesting.
"You do know that there are a bunch of eyes on us right now, right", Ten asked as he whispered near Jae-seong's ear. Jae-seong just nodded still smiling. "Want to make it more interesting", Ten asked again. Jae-seong just shot him a confused glare but eventually nodding telling him that she's down for his stupid plan. Ten then moved closer to her and stopped when their faces were inches away. Jae-seong just stared at him as he smiled and moved closer to her ear. "I love you", Ten whispered.
Jae-seong squealed and punch Ten's chest before walking away. People then started whispering talking about them. Moments later Jae-seong's phone vibrated.
A text message from Ten saying, “You are forever my favorite actress”. She then smiled but before she could type her phone vibrated again. “And my best partner in crime”, Ten said, “I love you!”
Her smile grew larger. “Aww, I love you too”, she replied making Ten blush all of a sudden. “Are you okay”, Jaehyun now asked seeing how red Ten is. “Yeah yeah, no biggie”, Ten responded waving his hand in front of his face. “Is it Jae-seong”, Jaehyun now whispered asking Ten. “No”, he blatantly answered walking inches away from Jaehyun. “Oh come on don’t lie to me”, Jaehyun teased. “Whatever makes you sleep at night”, Ten answered trying to keep his cool all the while still hiding his face.
Meanwhile…
"Who was that", Yuta asked as Jae-seong kept her phone. "Just my brother", Jae-seong answered giggling. Yuta's expression then changed since he knew well that it wasn't just her brother and that her and Ten definitely have something going on. He can definitely smile in front of Jae-seong but he can't deny the fact that he's hurt. He knows fully that he has no right to be but he's human too, a human being capable of feeling emotions.
Yuta just went on with it trying his best not to worry Jae-seong. It was how he knew to deal wth his emotions without affecting the woman he loves. All he could do was hope for a miracle... or make the miracle. Either way, both options are impossible and has a thin chance of succeeding. 
They all surrendered the items that they've collected and let the judges officially count the items. For the mean time, they had the free time for themselves. Jae-seong being predictable, sat with Ten. The two played small games and seem to really enjoy themselves. It's as if they are immersed in their own little world and that made others envious of how much fun they are having with each other's company. 
Some wants to be in the position of either Jae-seong or Ten, some wants to have someone in their lives like that, but to some, it was very painful to watch. Not only to Yuta but to Taeyong as well. Taeyong started doubting himself again and questioned whether if his love still isn't enough and that if what he's doing is just a mere waste. 
"The results are in", the school head announced getting everyone's attention. "The group with the most number of items collected is...", his voice trailed off causing suspense. The school head didn't say another word and smiled. He then pointed at the mount of items that Ten's group surrendered. "That's ours", Ten whispered standing up. "Congratulations", Jae-seong exclaimed hugging Ten the other members cheered as well. 
Ten lifted Jae-seong off the ground and spun her around. "We finally won", Ten said. "Don't get too happy", Jae-seong said pointing at the scores flashed. "We got second place which means we are still leading in overall scores", Jae-seong said which made Ten pout. "But I still wuv you", Jae-seong cooed hugging Ten again. The two spent the next minute laughing and and obviously flirting with each other. Jae-seong hugged Ten with the happiest and most genuine smile anyone has ever seen.
And that is when it broke him. Broke him into pieces.
